Perez signed a one-year, $6 million contract with the Red Sox on Thursday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

Perez spent the 2019 campaign with Minnesota, starting 29 games on the way to a 5.12 ERA and 1.52 WHIP with a 135:67 K:BB over 165.1 innings. He figures to slot in near the back end of Boston's rotation, likely behind Eduardo Rodriguez.

Cole agreed Tuesday with the Yankees on a nine-year, $324 million contract, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

It's a record-setting deal for the 29-year-old, who will earn $36 million per year from New York after finishing a close second to former teammate Justin Verlander for the American League Cy Young Award in 2019. Lyles signed a two-year, $16 million contract with the Rangers on Friday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Lyles finished the 2019 campaign with Milwaukee in impressive fashion, posting a 1.91 ERA and 1.04 WHIP with a 38:11 K:BB over his last seven appearances (37.2 innings). He'll slot alongside fellow newcomer Kyle Gibson in a rebuilt Texas rotation.

Bundy was traded to the Angels on Wednesday in exchange for right-hander Isaac Mattson and three other minor leaguers, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

Bundy bounced back from his struggles in 2018 with a 4.79 ERA and 1.35 WHIP over 30 starts in 2019, although it only resulted in a 7-14 record with the rebuilding Orioles. The 27-year-old will likely have the chance to serve as a key piece in the Angels' rotation, and he could have the chance to earn a few more wins in 2020.

Springs was designated for assignment by the Rangers on Monday.

Springs experienced some struggles in his second year of major-league work in 2019 as he posted a 6.40 ERA and 1.89 WHIP over 32.1 innings. The southpaw now owns a 4.90 ERA over two seasons in the majors, and it's unclear whether a he'll be able to gain a major-league roster spot given his inconsistency on the mound. Right-hander Jimmy Herget was claimed off waivers by the Rangers in a corresponding move.

Sale (elbow) was cleared to begin an offseason throwing program two weeks ago after visiting with Dr. James Andrews in Florida, Rob Bradford of WEEI.com reports.

After receiving a platelet-rich plasma injection for his ailing elbow in August, Sale was scheduled to make a follow-up appointment with Dr. Andrews near the end of the season, but the lefty ultimately pushed the checkup back a few weeks. With Andrews giving him a clean bill of health, Sale will now be able to resume his normal offseason preparations and shouldn't face any restrictions for the start of spring training. After posting a career-worst 4.40 ERA over 25 starts in 2019, a healthy Sale will be looking to bounce back as he enters the first season of the five-year, $145 million extension he signed last March.

Gibson agreed in principle Wednesday on a contract with the Rangers, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

The terms of Gibson's contract aren't known, but he'll likely head to Texas on a multi-year deal after fielding interest from several teams so far this offseason. The 32-year-old has demonstrated some impressive durability with at least 29 starts in each of the past three seasons, but he took a step back in 2019, posting a 4.84 ERA and 1.44 WHIP across 160 innings with the Twins. The Rangers are likely hoping that Gibson can at least eat some innings as a mid-rotation pitcher, and the move to Texas may not be as punishing for his fantasy prospects compared to years past with the team set to play games under a retractable roof in 2020.

Cortes was traded from the Yankees to the Mariners on Monday in exchange for international bonus pool money, Buster Olney of ESPN reports.

Cortes was available cheap after being designated for assignment Wednesday. He's yet to show much in 71.1 major-league innings, struggling to a 5.80 ERA.

Medina was added to the Yankees' 40-man roster Wednesday.

Medina has electric stuff so it's no surprise to see the Yankees protecting him from the Rule 5 draft. The 20-year-old received a late-season promotion to High-A Tampa and seems likely to start there in 2020.

Gil was added to the Yankees' 40-man roster Wednesday.

Gil began the season at Low-A Charleston and earned a promotion to High-A Tampa after posting a 2.39 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 112:39 K:BB in 17 starts. The 21-year-old will now get a chance to showcase his stuff at spring training and could begin the season at Double-A Trenton.
