Dunn will work in combination with Tommy Milone every fifth day over the rest of the season, meaning he will pitch in Thursday's game against the Reds, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

It's unclear if Dunn will start or relieve in his debut, but it will essentially be a piggybacking situation. For fantasy purposes, it would be better for him to come in after Milone so that he could potentially qualify for a win. Dunn, who is one of Seattle's top pitching prospects, has a deceptive delivery and a few average-to-above-average pitches. He also logged a career-best 7.1 percent walk rate this year at Double-A. Dunn has thrown 131.2 innings and counting in 2019 and should spend the bulk of 2020 in the big-league rotation.

Glasnow's previously sore forearm tolerated a 41-pitch workload in his first start well and he tentatively lines up for his next turn Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Glasnow ultimately only got through two frames on that pitch count due to some modest location issues, but of overriding importance is the fact he's experienced no adverse residual effects. That sets up Glasnow to continue building up his arm, with a report earlier in the week indicating the Rays ideally hope to have him back to a conventional starter's workload by the time the regular season concludes in anticipation of a potential postseason run.

Cortes did not factor into the decision against Detroit on Tuesday, pitching 2.1 innings and giving up four runs (two earned) on six hits and one walk while striking out two.

Cortes was used as the opening pitcher for the first time in his career and had a difficult time making the adjustment, allowing six singles and a walk while needing 46 pitches to get through 2.1 frames. The 24-year-old has not hurled a scoreless outing since Aug. 23, allowing 10 earned runs in 8.2 innings over his last five games.

Lynn allowed one run on four hits and three walks while striking out seven over seven innings in a no-decision against the Rays on Tuesday.

Lynn left with the Rangers in good shape, leading 3-1, but Rafael Montero served up a two-run home run in the eighth inning, ending the starter's bid for his first win since Aug. 2. He held a share of the MLB lead in wins (11) at the All-Star break, but he's been victimized by poor run support since (2.83 runs per start). Lynn will seek win number 15 at home against Oakland on Sunday.

Miley (13-7) allowed seven runs on seven hits and one walk over one-third of an inning to pick up the loss against Oakland on Tuesday.

Miley leaves baseball watchers scratching their heads after a second straight meltdown of a start. He was lit up by Seattle last week for five first-inning runs before the Athletics got to him Tuesday. He had been a model of consistency and boasted a solid 3.06 ERA before the two-start bludgeoning. He'll look to quell the rising storm his next time out, Sunday on the road in Kansas City.

Eovaldi allowed three runs on six hits with two walks and six strikeouts across 4.1 innings during a no-decision against the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old needed three more outs to qualify for the win, but he left in the fifth after starting the frame with a walk and a strikeout. Red Sox manager Alex Core probably regrets the decision to take him out, as the Boston bullpen gave up the lead with a homer in the next at-bat. One of those runs was charged to Eovaldi, but he didn't get saddled with the loss. Eovaldi wasn't great Tuesday, yielding two homers himself, but he's improved lately, posting a 3.38 ERA in his last three outings. He is 1-0 with a 5.81 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 55 strikeouts in 52.2 innings this season. Eovaldi is scheduled to pitch next at home against the Giants on Tuesday.

Suarez (2-6) took the loss against the Indians on Tuesday, giving up six earned runs on four hits over three innings, striking out one and walking two as the Angels fell 8-0.

The left-hander made it out of the first inning unscathed but yielded all six of his runs over the next two frames before getting chased from the contest after three innings and 60 pitches. It was a continuation of the struggles Suarez has endured throughout his rookie campaign, with this outing giving him a 6.94 ERA and 1.64 WHIP across 71.1 innings on the season.

Urquidy will start Wednesday's game against the Athletics, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Urquidy will make a spot start after the Astros used multiple long relievers in Tuesday's 21-7 loss. The 24-year-old has a 5.33 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 24:5 K:BB in six major-league outings this season (27 innings). The Astros' schedule would allow them to get by without a fifth starter until Sept. 28, so Urquidy will presumably shift back to the bullpen after Wednesday's outing.

Montgomery (shoulder) tossed three innings for Double-A Trenton on Tuesday, giving up two runs (one earned) on two hits and one walk while striking out one.

Montgomery hurled his most pitches in a rehab outing to date, firing strikes on 30 of 50 throws to the plate. He allowed the first three hitters of the game to reach base but settled down thereafter to retire the final nine batters he faced. The appearance was likely the last for Montgomery in a minor-league uniform this season. He is on track to return to the Yankees -- likely in a relief role -- in the near future.

Berrios (12-8) allowed two hits over seven scoreless innings to earn the win Tuesday against the Nationals. He struck out four and walked one.

Berrios generated only four swinging strikes but lived on soft contact as he allowed only three hard-hit balls and zero extra-base hits. The 25-year-old has a 3.63 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 173:46 K:BB though 181 innings this season and lines up to pitch Sunday at Cleveland.
