Liberatore (back) tossed a bullpen session Monday and said he felt good afterwards, Emily Waldon of The Athletic reports.

The 19-year-old was placed on the 7-day injured list at Low-A Bowling Green on Aug. 9 after developing back spasms. His ability to resume throwing without any reported discomfort leaves the door open for Liberatore to return to game action before the minor-league season ends.

Clevinger (8-2) struck out 10 while tossing five shutout frames and allowing three hits with two walks to earn a victory against the Yankees on Sunday.

Since giving up seven runs in a loss to the lowly Orioles on June 28, Clevinger hasn't suffered another defeat. He is 7-0 with a 2.17 ERA in his last nine starts. Behind the winning streak, Clevinger has eight wins despite only 13 starts and owns a 3.11 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 105 strikeouts in just 72.1 innings this season. He is scheduled to pitch next against the Royals at home Friday.

Eovaldi allowed five runs on three hits with three walks and one strikeout across two innings during a no-decision against the Orioles on Sunday.

The Red Sox were planning to limit Eovaldi to 60 pitches, but he struggled to get through two frames while throwing only 43 pitches. Eovaldi has pitched well out of the bullpen lately, but he owns a 7.43 ERA in five starts this season. Overall, Eovaldi is 1-0 with a 6.82 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 30 strikeouts in 34.1 innings during 2019. Boston doesn't have many appealing alternatives on hand for the rotation, so Eovaldi is in line to stick in a starting role and make his next turn Saturday versus the Padres in San Diego, per Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican.

Cole (hamstring) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Monday afternoon, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

A bullpen session Monday puts Cole on schedule to start Thursday after skipping one turn through the rotation due to a right hamstring discomfort. Although the Astros have not made an official announcement about Cole's return, they currently list Thursday's starter as "to be determined."

Greinke (13-4) allowed one run on four hits and three walks over seven innings Sunday, striking out six and earning the win over Oakland.

Greinke is now 3-0 since being traded to the Astros and hit a huge career milestone with his 200th victory. Marcus Semien's solo shot in the fourth inning accounted for Oakland's lone run in the contest. The 35-year-old lowered his season ERA to 2.84 with a 149:28 K:BB. Greinke will aim for a 4-0 start to his Astros career at home against the Angels on Friday.

Canning (5-6) allowed one run on five hits and a walk over seven innings Sunday, striking out eight and earning the win over the White Sox.

Canning turned in one of the best performances of his young career, tying his career highs of seven innings pitched and eight punchouts. The 23-year-old rookie lowered his ERA to 4.58 alongside a 96:30 K:BB. Looking for his third straight win, he'll get a tough road matchup in Houston on Friday.

Cease (2-6) allowed five runs on seven hits and a walk over five innings Sunday, striking out six batters and taking the loss against the Angels.

Most of the damage against Cease came via the long ball with Matt Thaiss and Kole Calhoun both taking him deep. The rookie right-hander had allowed just four runs in his previous two starts, but Sunday's outing bumped his ERA to 5.93 in his first 44 MLB innings. Cease will get a home start against Texas on Friday.

Perez allowed two runs on five hits and four walks over five innings Sunday, striking out two batters in the win over Texas. He did not factor into the decision.

The two runs against Perez came on from a two-RBI single by Jeff Mathis in the fourth inning. He left in line for a win before Sam Dyson gave up a game-tying homer in the seventh. Perez lowered his ERA to 4.53 alongside a 111:56 K:BB in 133 innings. He'll get the Tigers at home on Saturday.

Lynn allowed three runs on four hits and five walks over five frames Sunday, striking out three batters in the loss to the Twins. He did not factor in the decision.

Minnesota tagged Lynn with two runs in the first inning on a Marwin Gonzalez double. The 32-year-old has given up just six runs over 24 innings in August, lowering his ERA from 3.83 to 3.60 in the process. However, he's also issued 13 walks during that span. He'll look to get back in the win column in Chicago on Thursday against the White Sox.

Boyd gave up a run on two hits and two walks while striking out nine over seven innings Sunday against the Rays. He didn't factor into the decision.

Boyd allowed just one run in the first inning on a sacrifice fly to center, but he ended his outing with six scoreless frames. Unfortunately, his team didn't provide enough run support for Boyd to emerge with the victory. The 28-year-old managed to bounce back after a pair of disastrous starts, as he'd yielded 12 runs in his last two performances prior to Sunday's clash.
