Walker Buehler SP | SD
Red Sox's Walker Buehler: Struggles again in loss
Buehler (5-6) yielded four runs on four hits and three walks over four innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against Toronto.
Buehler got into trouble immediately Sunday, serving up back-to-back homers to Addison Barger and Vladimir Guerrero in the first inning. Toronto then plated two more runs in the fourth. Buehler walked in a run during that fourth frame and has issued 14 free passes over his last three appearances. During that span, he's seen his season ERA jump from 5.01 to 6.45 across 67 total innings. Buehler is 1-5 with a 9.29 ERA over his last seven starts. He's in line to start in Washington next weekend.

Eric Lauer SP | TOR
Blue Jays' Eric Lauer: Coughs up three runs
Lauer did not factor in the decision during Sunday's win over Boston. He allowed three runs on seven hits over 4.1 innings while striking out four.
Lauer coughed up a pair of runs in the second inning before Boston plated one more in the fifth. He had given up four runs over his previous 24.1 innings (1.48 ERA) entering Sunday's outing. Lauer went 3-0 during that span but hasn't completed six innings in any appearance this season. Still, he owns a 2.60 ERA with a 45:14 K:BB through 45 frames this season. Lauer's next outing is expected to be at home against the Angels.

Ken Waldichuk SP | WAS
Athletics' Ken Waldichuk: Reaches third inning in rehab start
Waldichuk (elbow) gave up two runs (one earned) on one hit and two walks while striking out one batter over 2.1 innings in his rehab start Saturday with Triple-A Las Vegas.
After tossing three shutout innings in his first rehab outing with Single-A Stockton on June 22, Waldichuk moved up to Triple-A for his second appearance. Though he wasn't nearly as efficient Saturday as he had been in his previous outing, Waldichuk pushed up his pitch count from 42 to 51. The Athletics appear prepared to let Waldichuk get stretched out for a starting role during his rehab assignment, but his performance will likely determine whether he enters the big-league rotation once he's activated from the 60-day injured list. Waldichuk has been on the shelf all season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, which he underwent last May.

Dietrich Enns RP | BAL
Tigers' Dietrich Enns: Another start on tap
Enns is scheduled to start Thursday's game against the Nationals in Washington, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
The left-hander made his first MLB appearance since 2021 last Thursday against the Athletics in what was expected to be a spot start, but he'll receive another turn through the rotation after allowing just one hit across five scoreless frames. Another strong performance could keep Enns in the rotation on a longer-term basis, even with Reese Olson (finger) potentially making his return from the injured list this week.

Kris Bubic SP | KC
Royals' Kris Bubic: Saddled with sixth loss
Bubic (6-6) suffered the loss in Sunday's game against the Dodgers, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks over five innings with five strikeouts.
The Kansas City southpaw contained the star-studded Los Angeles lineup in this 90-pitch performance. Bubic limited the Dodgers to just one extra-base hit -- an Enrique Hernandez two-run blast in the second inning. He also crossed the 100-strikeout milestone for the third time in his career, achieving the feat for the first time since 2022. The 27-year-old left-hander appears bound for his first All-Star appearance, as he's pitched to an impressive 2.25 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 101:29 K:BB across 96 total frames. Bubic is currently slated to make his next start at Arizona next weekend.

Overall, the right-hander sports a 5.18 ERA with a 1.38 WHIP and 71:34 K:BB across 18 starts (104.1 innings) this season. Severino will look to right the ship in his next outing, tentatively scheduled for next week against the Giants.

Marcus Stroman SP | NYY
Yankees' Marcus Stroman: Grabs win in return
Stroman (1-1) earned the win Sunday against the A's, allowing one run on three hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out one.
Stroman was sharp in his return from a two-and-a-half-month stint on the IL. The right-hander blanked the A's through four innings before ultimately allowing a lone run on a Willie MacIver solo homer in the fifth. It's certainly an encouraging sign for Stroman and the Yankees, after he struggled to an 11.57 ERA in his first three starts (9.1 innings) this year. Stroman is currently lined up to face the Mets on the road in his next outing.

Taj Bradley SP | MIN
Rays' Taj Bradley: Falls to Baltimore
Bradley (5-6) took the loss Sunday against the Orioles, allowing five runs on eight hits and a walk across 5.1 innings. He struck out two.
Bradley held the Orioles to just one run through his first four innings, but he'd unravel late, giving up four runs over his final 1.1 frames. Bradley's had a tough time against Baltimore this year -- he's allowed 11 runs in just 6.2 innings in two starts against the O's. Overall, the right-hander sports a 4.79 ERA with a 1.30 WHIP and 79:36 K:BB across 17 starts (92 innings) this season. Bradley will look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week in Minnesota.

The 29-year-old Kremer has allowed just two runs across 17.2 innings in his last three starts. His ERA is down to 4.27 on the year with a 1.29 WHIP and 78:25 K:BB across 17 outings (97 innings). Kremer will look to keep rolling his next time out, currently scheduled to come next week in Atlanta.

Allen found himself in trouble in the first inning, allowing a walk and a single before giving up a three-run homer to Nolan Gorman with two outs. The left-hander sports a 4.27 ERA with a 1.49 WHIP and 60:34 K:BB across 78 innings this season. Allen is currently scheduled to face the Tigers at home in his next outing.
