Felix Jorge SP | MIN
Twins' Felix Jorge: Promoted to Double-A
Jorge was promoted to Double-A Chattanooga, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. He was 9-3 with a 1.55 ERA and 77:11 K:BB in 93 innings at High-A Fort Myers.
The 22-year old has improved each of the last two seasons and has emerged as solid prospect with outstanding control (1.1 BB/9). He has just a 7.5 K/9, however, and he may need more strikeouts to thrive at higher levels.

Dylan Bundy SP | NYM
Orioles' Dylan Bundy: Seven strikeouts in relief Wednesday
Bundy threw 2.1 scoreless innings, allowing three hits and two walks with seven strikeouts against the Dodgers on Wednesday.
Bundy has now gone 14.1 consecutive scoreless innings in six appearances since June 4. He seemed to struggle with frequent use in short stints in April and May, so the Orioles may be trying to give Bundy three or four days off at a time. It had been six days since Bundy last pitched when he took the mound Wednesday. The seven strikeouts are a career high -- by three -- as Bundy struck out all seven of his outs. Unfortunately, the three balls in play all went for hits as he has struggled with a .371 BABIP. More importantly, Bundy has been healthy all season and the Orioles still seem to see him as a starter in the long term. Bundy has responded successfully to these long relief outings that seem to give him a schedule similar to that of a starter. It is unlikely the Orioles move Bundy to the rotation this year, but it seems very much in the cards for 2017.

Drew Smyly SP | CHC
Rays' Drew Smyly: Suffers 10th loss of year Wednesday
Smyly (2-10) allowed seven runs, four of which were earned, on eight hits and three walks over four innings to take the loss Wednesday against the Angels.
After pitching two scoreless innings, Smyly gave up four runs in the third inning, and things continued to go downhill from there, leading to his 10th loss of the year. He's now allowed at least four earned runs in seven of his last eight starts, and his ERA is up to 5.47. His next start will be after the All-Star break.

Martin Perez SP | ATL
Rangers' Martin Perez: Allows seven earned runs in loss Wednesday
Perez (7-5) allowed 11 runs, seven of which were earned, on nine hits and two walks while striking out one over four innings to take the loss Wednesday at the Red Sox.
After giving up a pair of runs in the first inning, Perez then gave up five more in the second inning, and the Rangers were on their way to a loss. This was the first time he's allowed more than four earned runs in a start over his last 14 outings, and he now has a 3.85 ERA to go along with a 1.42 WHIP. His next start will be after the All-Star break.

Marcus Stroman SP | NYY
Blue Jays' Marcus Stroman: Collects seventh win of year Wednesday
Stroman (7-4) allowed two runs on three hits and one walk while striking out six over eight innings to earn the win Wednesday against the Royals.
After giving up a run in his last inning of work, Stroman appeared headed for a no-decision, but the offense picked him up by scoring a pair of runs in the bottom of the frame to lift him to his seventh win of the year. Stroman struggled in four of his five starts in June, but he's fired a pair of quality starts already this month to bring his ERA back down to 4.89. His next start will be after the All-Star break.

Kevin Gausman SP | CHC
Orioles' Kevin Gausman: Ends first half with another disappointing start
Gausman (1-6) pitched five innings, allowing four runs, eight hits and one walk while striking out six Wednesday against the Dodgers. He did not factor in the decision.
Although he's not having a great year, Gausman has given owners more than five innings in a majority of his starts this season. However, manager Buck Showalter had seen enough after 95 pitches to hook the struggling 25-year-old after he gave up two fifth-inning runs. Through 15 starts in 2016, Gausman sports an unsightly 4.15 ERA with just one victory to show for his efforts.

Sonny Gray SP | BOS
Athletics' Sonny Gray: Falls to Twins in final start before break
Gray (3-8) allowed one run on six hits over six innings Wednesday against the Twins. He walked four and struck out five in the loss.
Gray allowed a runner to reach base in each of his six innings, and the walk to Robbie Grossman in the fifth was his fourth of the day, tying a season high. The right-hander did well in working out of jams, stranding seven baserunners in his first four innings, but his propensity for the free pass Wednesday cost him in that inning after Grossman scored from first on Joe Mauer's double. Gray has issued 34 walks in just 90.2 innings this season, giving him a 3.4 BB/9 -- nearly a full walk higher than the 2.6 mark he posted a year ago.

Taijuan Walker SP | LAA
Mariners' Taijuan Walker: Lands on 15-day disabled list
Walker (foot) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.
The young right-hander aggravated his pre-existing foot issue during Tuesday's start, leading to him scheduling a meeting with a foot specialist for later in the week. He's officially landing on the disabled list due to right foot tendinitis, which leaves a spot open in the rotation for this weekend. The hope is that the upcoming All-Star break and additional rest time thereafter will be enough for Walker to get back on the hill before too long, but a more concrete timetable for his return figures to be released in the coming days.

Michael Roth SP | TEX
Rangers' Michael Roth: Outrighted to Triple-A
Roth cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Round Rock on Wednesday.
He had a 2.66 ERA at Round Rock earlier this year, splitting time between the rotation and the bullpen, but none of the surrounding numbers back up that run prevention mark. Roth will continue to serve as organizational depth at the Rangers' Triple-A affiliate going forward.

Tommy Milone SP | SEA
Twins' Tommy Milone: Earns first win over Athletics
Milone (1-2) allowed just one run on five hits and a walk with two strikeouts over six innings in Tuesday's win over the Athletics.
This marked the first time Milone was able to get through six innings since April 15. It's been a rough go for Milone this year, but he induced nine groundouts and finally looked like he was at his top form. Still, he owns a brutal 5.45 ERA on the season and has struck out five batters or more just twice in seven starts.
