Dallas Keuchel SP | MIL
Astros' Dallas Keuchel: Falters in seventh inning of Thursday's loss
Keuchel (3-7) pitched six innings, allowing three runs, six hits and a walk while striking out six in Thursday's 3-0 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Keuchel's nightmare season continued with his sixth loss in seven decisions. The reigning Cy Young winner looked just like that through most of the game. He scattered three hits over the game's first six frames while allowing just two Diamondbacks to get past first base. However, Keuchel fell apart in the top of the seventh when he gave up three hits and hit a batter without recording an out. The lefty's numbers look eerily similar to those he posted in his first two MLB seasons, leaving owners to wonder if the past two campaigns will be outliers in his career.

James Paxton SP | BOS
Mariners' James Paxton: To make at least one more start
Paxton will remain in the rotation for at least one more start, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.
Despite being shelled in Wednesday's loss to the Padres, the Mariners will stick with Paxton in the rotation for now as he gets re-acclimated to facing major league competition. The 27-year-old has a track record of success at the big league level, highlighted by his 3.04 ERA over 13 starts in 2014. Paxton still possesses potential, and the Mariners are shorthanded when it comes to options in the rotation with Felix Hernandez (calf) on the disabled list. As it stands, Paxton will have a chance to re-establish himself as a member of the rotation Monday when the Mariners face the Indians.

Mike Clevinger RP | PIT
Indians' Mike Clevinger: Optioned to Triple-A Columbus
Clevinger was optioned to Triple-A Columbus on Thursday, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports.
Clevinger was sent down in order to make room on the roster for Carlos Carrasco. After a few less than impressive starts with the Indians (14 earned runs during 14.1 innings) he will go back to Columbus where he has touted a 5-0 record with a 3.03 ERA thus far in 2016. Clevinger will likely get another opportunity with the big league club later this summer.

Carlos Carrasco RP | ATL
Indians' Carlos Carrasco: Will start against Royals Thursday
Carrasco (hamstring) has been activated off the disabled list and will start Thursday's game, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
Carrasco hasn't pitched since April 24 and will be limited to around 80 pitches for Thursday's game. He made a rehab start Saturday at Double-A Akron and looked good in four innings of work. The Indians have optioned Mike Clevinger to Triple-A Columbus in order to make room for Carrasco.

Rich Hill SP | KC
Athletics' Rich Hill: On track for Saturday's start
Hill's (groin) bullpen session Wednesday went according to plan, and he'll be in line to start Saturday against the Astros, Joe Stiglich of CSN California reports.
Hill left his previous start Sunday against the Tigers early with the mild groin strain, but pitched effectively during his time on the mound, holding the opposition to two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out nine in his 6.1 innings. It seems Hill's early removal was just precautionary, so the 36-year-old shouldn't face any restrictions in Saturday's outing. While Hill might not make for the safest DFS play against an Astros offense that's lived up to its vast potential of late, he should still rack up plenty of strikeouts against one of the majors' most whiff-prone teams.

Brady Aiken SP | CLE
Indians' Brady Aiken: Pitching in extended spring training
Aiken (elbow) is currently pitching in extended spring training, and sat at 89-92 mph in his first start there in late May, Fangraphs' Eric Longenhagen reports.
He underwent Tommy John surgery in late May of 2015, so this is his first live action against hitters, so it's not a huge red flag that his velocity is not all the way back to his pre-surgery days. Longenhagen reports that Aiken's curveball retained impressive shape and his changeup was below average, which is to be expected given where Aiken is at in his development and recovery. Aiken has also added some weight, and is now approximately 230 pounds, despite being listed at 205. He should spend most of the year in Arizona at extended spring training and rookie ball, although it's possible he could head to Low-A later in the season. Dynasty league owners who drafted Aiken knew the risks and the distant ETA involved, so it's just nice to know that he's back competing on the mound.

Kyle Gibson SP | BAL
Twins' Kyle Gibson: Scratched from Thursday's start with stiff back
Gibson (shoulder) has been scratched from Thursday's scheduled start against Tampa Bay due to a stiff back
Gibson was set to be activated from the DL before the start, but instead Phil Hughes will move back into the rotation and start Thursday. It's not clear how long Gibson's return from the DL will be delayed.

James Paxton SP | BOS
Mariners' James Paxton: Bombarded in season debu
Paxton was mauled by the Padres in his first start of the season Wednesday, as he allowed a whopping eight runs (three earned) on 10 hits and a walk in 3.2 innings.
If you're looking for a silver lining, seven of his 11 outs came via the strikeout. The 27-year-old Paxton has delivered promising results (3.97 ERA, 50:14 K:BB) in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League this year, and after he posted a 3.90 ERA with the Mariners last season, he should be in line to get an extended chance at some point. However, his current stay with the M's could be a short one, as he only has a rotation spot while Felix Hernandez is on the DL.

Cole Hamels SP | SD
Rangers' Cole Hamels: Allowed another homer in no-decision versus Cleveland
Hamels allowed three runs on six hits, including a homer, over seven innings in a no-decision against the Indians on Wednesday. He also struck out five and walked three.
The southpaw has tossed up nine bombs in his last five outings, which has helped give him an alarmingly high 1.69 HR/9 rate. However, that will more than likely come down, as he has an unsustainable 26.7 HR/FB ratio. And despite all the homers, Hamels is still 5-1 with a 3.39 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 72 strikeouts in 69 innings. He will look to keep the ball in the park during his next start on Tuesday versus the Astros.

Marcus Stroman SP | NYY
Blue Jays' Marcus Stroman: Will pitch Saturday
Stroman will pitch in Saturday's matchup against the Red Sox, Ben Nicholson-Smith of sportsnet.ca reports.
Stroman was originally scheduled to throw Friday, but he has since been bumped back a day. R.A Dickey will move form Saturday to Friday. It is unclear what caused the Blue Jays to make this switch, but Stroman will now matchup against the Red Sox's Steven Wright instead of David Price.
