  • Pablo Lopez SP | MIN

Twins' Pablo Lopez: Hit hard by Rays

Lopez didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against Tampa Bay, allowing five runs on seven hits and a walk across four innings. He struck out three.

Four of the five runs attributed to Lopez came via the long ball, with Randy Arozarena launching a three-run homer in the first inning and Brandon Lowe notching a solo home run in the fifth, marking Lopez's seventh consecutive start allowing a round-tripper. The 28-year-old has allowed five or more runs in four of his last six appearances, owning an 8.94 ERA during that stretch and ballooning his ERA to a career-worst 5.63 overall. He's lined up for a road start against the Athletics on Sunday.

  • Casey Mize SP | DET

Tigers' Casey Mize: Takes another loss

Mize (1-5) took the loss Tuesday against Atlanta, allowing two runs on five hits and no walks with three strikeouts across four innings.

Both of the runs charged to Mize came in the first inning, when he yielded three consecutive hits -- including a triple by Ozzie Albies -- to open up the game. While Mize hasn't found the win column since April 21, Tuesday's start added on to what's been a solid stretch for the 27-year-old. He's surrendered three or fewer earned runs in seven of his last eight appearances and owns a 4.43 ERA with a 46:19 K:BB on the year.

  • Chris Bassitt SP | BAL

Blue Jays' Chris Bassitt: Solid in no-decision

Bassitt didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against Boston, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out six.

Bassitt allowed fewer than four runs for a ninth consecutive start, stranding five Red Sox across six innings. The 35-year-old surrendered at least seven hits for the fourth time this season but wound up generating his seventh quality start of the campaign. Through 64.1 innings, Bassitt owns a 3.52 ERA and an 81:34 K:BB. He's tentatively scheduled for a rematch with the Red Sox in Boston early next week.

  • Tanner Houck SP | BOS

Red Sox's Tanner Houck: Falls short of quality start

Houck didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against Toronto, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks across 5.2 innings. He struck out five.

Houck ended up one out shy of a sixth consecutive quality start, getting pulled at 103 pitches after yielding an RBI single to Isiah Kiner-Falefa. Houck has struck out five or more batters in seven straight starts and owns a 4-2 record with a 2.17 ERA across 45.2 innings during that stretch. He's scheduled to close out a two-start week Sunday at Cincinnati.

  • Angels' Griffin Canning: Skid continues

Canning (2-8) allowed six runs (five earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking out four over five-plus innings to take the loss versus the Brewers on Tuesday.

Canning hadn't given up more than four earned runs in any of his last 11 outings, but the Brewers got to him early and often in this contest. He's now lost four straight starts, and he's gone six outings without a win. The right-hander is at a 5.02 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 54:29 K:BB through 80.2 innings over 15 starts this season. Canning is projected to make his next start at home versus the Athletics.

  • Alec Marsh RP | KC

Royals' Alec Marsh: Stumbles versus Athletics

Marsh (5-4) allowed seven runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four over three innings to take the loss Tuesday versus the Athletics.

After looking to have righted the ship with seven one-hit innings versus the Yankees in his last start, Marsh took another step back. He's given up at least four runs in four of his last five starts, and this one was his shortest outing of the campaign. The right-hander's ERA shot up to 4.37 with a 1.17 WHIP and 65:21 K:BB over 70 innings across 13 starts. Marsh is projected for a road outing versus the Rangers this weekend, but his recently volatility makes him a risky option in fantasy.

  • Hogan Harris RP | ATH

Athletics' Hogan Harris: Collects first win

Harris (1-0) allowed three runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings, earning the win Tuesday over the Royals.

Harris has generally pitched well this season, but he had nothing to show for it before Tuesday. He allowed a two-run home run to Nick Loftin in this contest. Harris hasn't allowed more than three runs in any of his last five outings, and he's at a 2.37 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 26:11 K:BB through 30.1 innings over six appearances (four starts) this season. The southpaw is projected to make his next start at home versus the Twins.

  • Rangers' Michael Lorenzen: Collects another quality start

Lorenzen did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Mets, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out three.

The veteran right-hander posted his sixth quality start in his last seven outings with this performance. Over that span dating back to May 13, Lorenzen has pitched to a 1.88 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 27:16 K:BB in 43 innings. He'll look to keep his stellar work going in his next start, tentatively slated to come against the Brewers on the road.

  • Guardians' Triston McKenzie: Short outing vs. Mariners

McKenzie (3-4) took the loss Tuesday against Seattle, allowing four runs on three hits and four walks over 2.1 innings without recording a strikeout.

After holding the Mariners scoreless through his first two innings, McKenzie allowed five of the first six batters to reach safely in the third, ultimately surrendering four runs before the Guardians turned to the bullpen. The 26-year-old McKenzie has struggled of late -- he hasn't made it through six innings in five straight starts, posting a 7.04 ERA in that span. Overall, his ERA is up to 4.48 on the season with a 1.46 WHIP and 65:42 K:BB across 70.1 innings. He'll look to right the ship in his next outing, currently scheduled for this weekend at home versus Toronto.

  • Bryce Miller SP | SEA

Mariners' Bryce Miller: Improves to 6-5

Miller (6-5) earned the win Tuesday against the Guardians, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out two.

It was another solid outing from Miller, who's now allowed just two earned runs over 12.2 innings in his last two starts. While he's been inconsistent at times this year, the 25-year-old Miller has turned in a respectable 3.46 ERA with a 1.01 WHIP and 82:26 K:BB across 15 starts (88.1 innings). Miller will look to keep rolling in his next outing, currently lined up for this weekend in Miami.
