Arizona manager Torey Lovullo confirmed Monday that Montgomery (knee) will return from the 15-day injured list to start Tuesday against Kansas City, MLB.com reports.

Montgomery has been working his way back since experiencing right knee soreness June 29 and landing on the IL a few day slater. The left-hander threw a string of bullpen sessions and simulated game in preparation for Tuesday's start.

Snell allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Monday.

Snell's scoreless streak ended when Teoscar Hernandez hit a solo home run in the fourth inning, and the Dodgers' outfielder added a second run off the lefty with an RBI single in the sixth. It was still Snell's second quality start in a row, and it's all the more impressive he was able to put in a good effort against a tough opponent. While his ERA is at 5.83 with a 1.37 WHIP and 46:19 K:BB over 41.2 innings, he's trending in the right direction now that he appears to be fully healthy. His next start is expected to come at home versus the Rockies.

Suarez (10-5) took the loss Monday against Minnesota, allowing three runs on seven hits and one walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out four.

After pitching to a 1.75 ERA across his first 15 starts, the Philadelphia southpaw has struggled over his last five outings, generating an unsightly 6.67 ERA and 1.67 WHIP in 27 innings. Batters have started hitting Suarez better lately, as he's now allowed six or more knocks in eight consecutive appearances. However, this outing marks the 11th of the season in which the 28-year-old hasn't yielded a long ball. He sports a 0.7 HR/9, which would be a career best for a season in which he was predominantly a starter. Suarez currently lines up to make his next start against Cleveland at home this weekend.

Tyler will be recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville to start Tuesday's game against the Orioles, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Tyler is set to face a difficult Baltimore lineup in what will be his fifth big-league appearance of the season. He's pitched well when called upon for the big club this season, posting a 3.38 ERA and 1.19 WHIP with a 10:8 K:BB across 16 innings.

Diaz (1-1) allowed seven runs on nine hits and a walk over three-plus innings while taking a loss against the Royals on Monday.

Diaz gave up one run through two innings before Kansas City's bats caught fire. He allowed three runs in the third inning and was charged with three more in the fourth after giving up three straight hits to open the inning. Diaz had coughed up just two runs over 12 innings to begin his MLB career before Monday's brutal outing. His ERA jumped to 5.40 across three starts. As of now, he's lined up for a home matchup with the Pirates.

Myers (6-4) took the loss Monday against the Cubs, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out six.

Despite matching his career high in strikeouts with six, a mark he's reached four times in his last six starts, Myers was saddled with the loss in this 87-pitch outing. The Milwaukee rookie has impressed of late, pitching to a 1.95 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 41:12 K:BB across 50.2 innings since the beginning of June. DL Hall (knee/forearm) and Joe Ross (back) could return soon as they continue rehab assignments at Triple-A Nashville, but Myers appears locked into a rotation spot. The 25-year-old currently lines up to face the Marlins at home in his next start this weekend.

Keller came away with a no-decision Monday against the Cardinals, allowing one earned run on six hits and two walks while striking out three in seven innings.

The lone blemish on Keller's line was a solo home run by Nolan Gorman in the fifth inning, the only extra-base hit of the night for the Cardinals. The right-hander matched a season low with just three strikeouts, but he logged his 11th quality start in what has been a strong campaign for the 28-year-old. Keller owns a 3.34 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and a 108:32 K:BB across 121.1 innings this season. He will look to keep things going in his next start, currently scheduled for this weekend in Arizona.

Assad did not factor into the decision in Monday's 3-1 win over Milwaukee, allowing one hit and six walks over 3.1 innings. He struck out two.

Assad made his second appearance since returning from a forearm strain and was unable to locate the strike zone, issuing a career-worst six free passes and needing 76 pitches to record 10 outs. He's now yielded eight walks across 6.2 innings since coming off the IL. Overall, the Cubs righty sports a 3.15 ERA in 88.2 innings, but he may be unable to maintain that mark given his subpar 4.61 FIP and 4.2 BB/9. Assad is currently scheduled to make his next start against the Royals on the road this weekend.

Greene (7-4) earned the win against Atlanta on Monday, allowing two hits and three walks while striking out seven over seven scoreless innings.

Greene didn't allow an extra-base hit and cruised to his second consecutive win and third straight quality start. The 24-year-old has been dominant in July, yielding just one run in 20 innings with 24 strikeouts. On the season, he owns a 3.14 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 133:48 K:BB across 117.1 innings and lines up for a road matchup with the Rays this weekend.

Lopez (7-4) took the loss against the Reds on Monday, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks with five strikeouts over six innings.

Lopez allowed more than three earned runs for the first time all season in his second consecutive loss. He generated 13 swinging strikes on 85 pitches but also yielded nine hard-hit balls and saw his ERA rise above 2.00 for the first time this year. The 30-year-old still leads all starting pitchers with a 2.12 ERA to go along with a 1.19 WHIP and 100:36 K:BB across 101.2 innings. He will try to rebound in a road matchup with the Mets this weekend.
