The Rockies transferred Feltner (head) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday.

Colorado still hasn't offered a concrete timeline for Feltner's return to game action, but his move to the 60-day IL ensures that he won't be available for the big club until after the All-Star break while he recovers from the small head fracture and concussion he sustained when he was struck by a comebacker in a May 13 start versus the Phillies. The transaction clears up a spot on the 40-man roster for left-hander Ryan Rolison (shoulder), who was reinstated from the 60-day IL and optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque.

Cobb (4-2) took the loss Sunday, allowing seven runs on seven hits and four walks over four innings during a 7-5 defeat to the Brewers. He struck out five.

Cobb walked multiple batters for the fourth time over his past five starts and surrendered a season-high seven runs. Coming into the contest, the right-hander had been excellent, sporting a 2.17 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 52:14 K:BB across 10 appearances (58 innings), so it's safe to chalk Sunday's outing up as an outlier. The 35-year-old's role in the Giants rotation is solidified as long as he's healthy, and his next start is tentatively scheduled during a three-game weekend set versus Baltimore.

Rea (2-3) earned the win Sunday, allowing four runs on five hits over six innings during a 7-5 victory over San Francisco. He struck out six and did not issue a walk.

Rea wasn't as sharp as his previous start, but he still tied his season high with six innings and recorded six strikeouts, his most since April 30. The 32-year-old sports modest numbers (4.75 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 35:13 K:BB) across eight starts (41.2 innings), but given the litany of injuries to Milwaukee's rotation, Rea figures to have a relatively stable role moving forward. His next start is tentatively scheduled during a four-game set in Cincinnati.

Teheran will start Wednesday's game versus the Blue Jays in Toronto, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Teheran will pick up a second straight turn through the Milwaukee rotation after he acquitted himself well in his Brewers debut last Thursday, when he struck out five and gave up one run on four hits and one walk over five innings in a losing effort versus the Giants. The right-hander will draw a tougher test Wednesday on the road, but even if his performance dips a bit, Teheran should have some leash in a Milwaukee rotation that's currently without all of Brandon Woodruff (shoulder), Wade Miley (lat), Eric Lauer (shoulder) and Aaron Ashby (shoulder).

Atlanta recalled Soroka from Triple-A Gwinnett ahead of his scheduled start Monday in Oakland.

The 25-year-old will get a favorable landing spot as he makes his first big-league start since Aug. 3, 2020, taking the mound in a pitcher-friendly park while facing off against an Oakland offense that ranks 24th in the majors in wRC+ (88). Soroka's overall numbers over his eight starts at Gwinnett this season aren't eye-popping, but he looked particularly strong during his most recent two outings, covering 10.2 innings and striking out 13 while allowing just two runs on four hits and four walks. He'll tentatively line up for a two-start week as he slots into the Atlanta rotation, with his second turn expected to come this Sunday in Arizona.

Montgomery did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing two runs on seven hits and one walk over five innings during a 4-3 loss to Cleveland. He struck out three.

Montgomery has allowed multiple runs in each of his last five starts and sports a 6.04 ERA during that stretch. However, Sunday's outing was a step in the right direction, as he didn't allow a home run for the first time since April 29. Overall, the left-hander has been consistent this year, but his numbers are marred by a pair of poor outings. Montgomery faces no threat to his spot in the rotation and is scheduled to pitch again during the finale of a three-game weekend set in Pittsburgh.

Ashcraft (3-3) earned the win over the Cubs on Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out six over five innings.

Ashcraft picked up his first win since April 15 after needing 92 pitches to grind through five innings while receiving plenty of run support from his teammates. His only troublesome inning was the second. He issued a walk and allowed a base hit before surrendering a three-run blast to Patrick Wisdom to put the Cubs ahead 3-2. It wasn't a dominant outing by any means, but it was a step in the right direction for Ashcraft. He racked up six strikeouts for the first time since April 10, allowed less than six hits for the first time since April 26 and gave up just three runs after being pummeled for 14 runs over his last 10 innings. The 25-year-old now sits at a 5.55 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 47:24 K:BB over 58.1 innings and lines up to face the Brewers next weekend.

Grove (groin) struck out seven and allowed five hits and no walks over 5.2 innings in his second rehab start Saturday with Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Grove built up to 77 pitches Saturday and has now looked sharp over both of his rehab outings with Oklahoma City, working 10 innings in total while striking out 14 and allowing just nine baserunners. The Dodgers have yet to comment on Grove's next step, but he appears likely to return from the 15-day injured list to slot into Los Angeles' rotation during next weekend's series with the Yankees. Though the team doesn't have a rotation opening for Grove at the moment, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was non-committal on rookie Gavin Stone making his next start after the young right-hander was lit up for seven earned runs in two innings in Sunday's loss to the Rays, bringing his ERA to 14.40 over his first three MLB outings.

Gore did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Royals, allowing one run on three hits and a walk while striking out 11 over seven innings.

Sunday was just the second time Gore had managed to reach seven innings since debuting last season and his 11 strikeouts were a career high. He racked up 23 whiffs and permitted just one free pass for only the second time this year. When he puts it all together, the 24-year-old has boasted some electric stuff and just needs to show more consistency with the command on his off speed pitches. Gore now owns a 3.57 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 74:28 K:BB over 58 innings and lines up for a home matchup with the Phillies next weekend.

Smyly (5-2) took the loss against the Reds on Sunday after allowing five runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out two over 4.2 innings.

Ironically, Smyly's two losses have both come against the Reds after they also got to him in his opening start back on April 3. Sunday was a similar outing for Smyly, who managed to go less than five innings for just the third time in 11 starts. Cincinnati tacked on two runs in the second, another in the third and two more in the fifth to chase him out of the game. The 34-year-old has given up 12 runs in his two outings against the division foes and 12 runs in his nine other starts total. He now sits at a 3.45 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 53:14 K:BB over 60 innings and will look to bounce back in a road test against the Padres next weekend.
