Mikolas gave up one earned run on four hits and a walk over six innings in a 5-3 win over the Cubs on Saturday. He struck out nine and did not factor into the decision.

Mikolas has now strung together four consecutive quality starts dating back to June 9, giving up only five earned runs over 29 innings of work during the stretch. He dominated the Cubs with a vicious 12-6 curveball and racked up nine strikeouts to match a season high. The 33-year-old veteran has a 14.5% K-BB%, which matches his season-long total from 2018, when he was an All-Star before missing significant time due to injury. He is tentatively scheduled to make his next start Friday at Philadelphia.

Fried pitched 6.2 innings against the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out nine. He did not factor in the decision.

Fried held the Dodgers scoreless heading into the seventh inning, but a two-out single by Cody Bellinger in that frame resulted in Los Angeles' first run. Will Smith relieved Fried and allowed an inherited runner to score, and the Dodgers tied the contest in the following inning, taking both starters out of the decision. Though he wasn't able to notch a win, Fried put forth another strong effort, setting a season high with nine strikeouts while racking up 20 swings-and-misses. He posted his 11th quality start of the campaign, which trails only Joe Musgrove for most in the National League.

Senzatela (3-4) took the loss against Minnesota on Saturday, pitching five innings and allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out six.

Senzatela fell behind by two runs after two innings, and he allowed two more runs in the fifth before exiting. That was more than the Twins needed to claim victory, as a group of five pitchers held Colorado to a single hit in the contest. Senzatela was coming off a strong run of three straight quality starts, but his subpar outing Saturday pushed his season ERA back up to 4.66.

Eflin (3-5) allowed two runs on four hits and two walks with three strikeouts in five innings to earn the win Saturday versus the Padres.

Eflin didn't have to miss time after exiting his previous start with a knee injury. He threw 46 of 80 pitches for strikes and picked up his first win in four outings with the help of four perfect innings of relief from four Phillies relievers. For the season, Eflin has a 4.37 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 56:15 K:BB across 68 innings in 13 starts. The right-hander had no restrictions Saturday and is on track for a home start versus the Cardinals next week.

Snell (0-5) allowed four runs on six hits and two walks with four strikeouts in 5.2 innings, taking the loss Saturday versus the Phillies.

Snell got through four scoreless innings before allowing the Phillies to put up three runs in the fifth. Jorge Alfaro hit a two-run double to get the Padres within one, but Snell gave one back on Alec Bohm's RBI double in the sixth. The southpaw continues to be on the hunt for his first win, having lost five of his seven starts this year while allowing at least three runs in five of them. He has a 5.60 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 38:19 K:BB across 35.1 innings overall. Snell's projected for a tough road start versus the Dodgers next weekend.

Davies allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk with two strikeouts in five innings, taking a no-decision versus the Tigers on Saturday.

It wasn't really a good or bad start, instead treading the line of average for Davies as his winless run extended to eight starts. The right-hander has been fairly sharp in June, allowing 10 runs (nine earned) across 31.2 innings across five outings. Overall, he's at a 3.94 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 62:26 K:BB through 80 innings in 15 starts. Davies is projected for an unforgiving road start in Colorado next week.

Brubaker tossed six innings, surrendering three runs on nine hits while striking out six in Saturday's loss to the Rays. He did not factor into the decision.

Brubaker was skating in and out of danger in this one, ultimately giving up two runs in the first frame and one more later in the fifth. He has now registered three quality starts in his last four outings, lowering his ERA from 4.70 to 4.14 over that stretch. Since May 17, Brubaker has posted a 2.93 ERA and 1.45 WHIP with a 7.4 K/9 ratio over seven starts.

Webb (7-2) allowed an unearned run on two hits, two walks and a hit batter with six strikeouts in six innings, earning the win versus the Reds on Saturday.

Webb was just average for much of May and into June, but he's rediscovered the form that made him look like a staff ace in the latter half of 2021. Over his last three starts, he's covered 20 innings while allowing two runs (one earned), 13 hits and five walks while striking out 22. The right-hander now has a 3.04 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 81:22 K:BB across 91.2 innings in 15 starts overall. He'll look to keep rolling in a projected home start versus the White Sox next weekend.

DeGrom (shoulder) threw 20 pitches over one inning during live BP on Saturday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

DeGrom faced live hitters for the second time during Saturday's throwing session, and he's slated to throw at least one more live BP in the coming days. Following his next throwing session, the Mets plan to evaluate whether the right-hander is ready to begin a minor-league rehab assignment.

Stroman (shoulder) threw approximately 40 pitches during a bullpen session Saturday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Stroman's throwing session Saturday marked the second time he's thrown off a mound since landing on the injured list, and he tested his full pitch repertoire during the bullpen. The Cubs return home next week, and the right-hander should have a chance to join the team to throw live BP.
