Woodruff (ankle) is experiencing symptoms of Raynaud's syndrome, including numbness in the middle three fingers of his right hand, and doesn't have a timeline for his return from the 15-day injured list, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.

The 29-year-old is fully recovered from the ankle sprain that sent him to the injured list in late May, but he's now contending with a more serious issue to his throwing hand. The major problems occur when Woodruff attempts to throw his slider and curveball, so he's scheduled to throw fastballs and changeups off the mound Saturday, per Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The right-hander has shown some improvement since recently starting a treatment program, but it's unclear when he may be able to rejoin Milwaukee's starting rotation.

Sanchez (shoulder) is not expected to pitch this year, Kyle Glaser of Baseball America reports.

Glaser notes that it's not entirely off the table for Sanchez to get into game action at some point, but for fantasy purposes, it's probably best to assume he won't provide value in 2022. Sanchez most recently advanced to "dry mound" work, throwing around 75 mph.

Choi has been sidelined with forearm inflammation, Kyle Glaser of Baseball America reports.

Per Glaser, Choi was set to begin a throwing program in late May, but he has yet to return to game action as of June 10. He only pitched in one game at High-A before getting injured but had an impressive 3.55 ERA and 0.97 WHIP in 106.1 innings in 2021.

Wheeler was activated off the paternity list Friday.

Wheeler had been away from the team since Tuesday, but he didn't miss any games in which he was scheduled to appear. He's expected to return to the mound Saturday against the Diamondbacks. Scott Kingery was outrighted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley to clear space on the roster.

Priester (oblique) threw three scoreless innings and retired nine of the 10 batters he faced in a rehab appearance with Single-A Bradenton on Thursday.

Priester took the mound for the first time in 2022 after being placed on the 7-day injured list April 8. The Pirates will continue to build up his pitch count, and he will likely report to Double-A Altoona upon being activated. Given his delayed start, Priester may stay with Altoona for the entire campaign.

Oviedo made his most recent appearance out of the bullpen Wednesday in the Cardinals' 11-3 loss to the Rays, striking out three over 2.2 innings while giving up one run on three hits and one walk.

After starting in the first game of a doubleheader against the Cubs during his previous appearance June 4, Oviedo served as a primary pitcher behind opener Packy Naughton in Wednesday's contest. With all of Jack Flaherty (shoulder), Steven Matz (shoulder) and Jordan Hicks (forearm) stuck on the injured list, the Cardinals could turn to the Naughton/Oviedo tandem to cover the bulk of the innings in Monday's series opener with the Pirates.

Garrett is slated to start Saturday's game against the Astros in Houston, FishStripes.com reports.

With Jesus Luzardo (forearm) and Cody Poteet (elbow) stuck on the injured list and Elieser Hernandez having been sent down to the minors, Garrett will take a second turn through the Miami rotation. In his season debut for the big club last Sunday against the Giants, he was dealt a loss after giving up four earned runs on five hits and a walk while striking out five in 3.1 innings.

Brubaker (0-6) took the loss Thursday, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks over seven innings against Atlanta. He struck out seven.

Brubaker allowed an RBI single to Adam Duvall in the second and run-scoring knocks to Dansby Swanson and Travis d'Arnaud in the third. However, the right-hander was able to mitigate the damage and finished the seventh inning for the first time this season. Across 12 starts and 58.2 innings, Brubaker sports a 4.60 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP with a 60:26 K:BB. His next start is tentatively scheduled for the first half of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.

Feltner will be recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque to start the first game of Saturday's doubleheader in San Diego, Danielle Allentuck of The Denver Gazette reports.

Feltner was sent back to the minors last week after Antonio Senzatela returned from the injured list to reclaim his spot in the rotation, but Saturday's doubleheader creates the need for a sixth starter. The Rockies will end up turning to Feltner to fill the void after he submitted a 5.85 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 23:6 K:BB across 20 innings in his first four outings of the season with the big club.

Fried (6-2) earned the win Thursday, allowing one run on eight hits and zero walks over six innings against Pittsburgh. He struck out eight.

Fried allowed singles to three of the first four Pirates hitters, but he escaped the inning without giving up a run by striking out the side. The left-hander's only blemish on the night came on a Jack Suwinski solo home run in the fourth, but Fried got his revenge in the sixth by striking Suwinski out to end his night. Thursday's performance marked Fried's third consecutive outing giving up one or fewer runs, while his eight strikeouts tied his season high. His next start is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday's contest in Washington.
