Quintana allowed two runs (none earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out four across 5.1 innings Friday against San Diego. He did not factor into the decision.

Quintana held the Padres in check for five innings but was pulled in the sixth frame after he allowed a single and an additional runner reached base on an error. His four strikeouts weren't particularly impressive, though he did manage to rack up 14 swinging strikes across 96 pitches. Quintana has allowed two or fewer earned runs in seven consecutive starts and now owns a 2.15 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 38:17 K:BB across 46 innings on the season.

Anderson didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 6-4 win over the Marlins, giving up four runs on four hits and three walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out five.

The right-hander cruised through five scoreless innings but hit a wall in the sixth, serving up a pair of two-run homers to Garrett Cooper and Jesus Aguilar. Anderson got the hook after 100 pitches (63 strikes), coming up short of his third quality start of the year. He will carry a 4.34 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 36:23 K:BB across 47.2 innings into his next outing.

Rogers didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 6-4 loss to Atlanta, giving up three runs on four hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out three.

The lefty continues to get hit hard, as three of the four hits off Rogers went for extra bases, including an Austin Riley solo shot. However he was able to limit the damage somewhat. Rogers didn't complete six innings in any of his five starts in May, and he posted a 5.32 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, 23:7 K:BB and a rough 2.7 HR/9 over the 23.2 innings he threw during the month.

Carrasco (5-1) picked up the win in Friday's 8-6 victory over the Phillies, giving up five runs on six hits and a walk over 5.2 innings. He struck out seven.

The veteran right-hander took a shutout into the sixth inning after being staked to an early 7-0 lead, but Carrasco nearly squandered it in a disastrous sixth. He got the hook after 85 pitches (59 strikes), and he's now failed to last a full six innings in three straight starts. Carrasco will carry a 3.98 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 46:8 K:BB into his next outing.

Falter (0-2) took the loss Friday, coughing up five runs (two earned) on four hits and three walks over three innings as the Phillies were downed 8-6 by the Mets. He struck out two.

Making just his third career start in the majors, Falter needed 82 pitches (52 strikes) to record nine outs, although he didn't get much help from his defense. The southpaw has a 4.20 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 9:5 K:BB through 15.0 innings for the Phillies this season, and he'll likely return to the bullpen or the minors after this outing.

Rodon (4-4) was charged with the loss Friday against the Reds after allowing three runs on seven hits with two strikeouts and three walks across 5.1 innings.

The left-hander threw 58 of his 99 pitches for strikes and generated only six swinging strikes, which resulted in his lowest punchout total of the season. Rodon had a 4-1 record with a 1.80 ERA and 53:12 K:BB through his first six starts of the season, but he's now lost his past three outings and has a 7.80 ERA and 12:8 K:BB in those defeats.

Ashcraft (1-0) earned the win Friday against the Giants after allowing four hits with one strikeout and two walks over 6.1 innings.

The 24-year-old generated only five swinging strikes on 92 pitches, but he kept San Francisco off the board by giving up only four singles. Ashcraft surrendered two runs over 4.1 innings during MLB debut last weekend, and he was able to pick up his first win in his second outing Saturday. The right-hander may have done enough to stick around in Cincinnati's rotation for another turn, however, the impending return of Mike Minor (shoulder) from the injured list could result in him being sent back to Triple-A Louisville.

Woodruff was removed from Friday's start against the Cardinals with right ankle discomfort, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

The 28-year-old appeared to tweak his ankle while throwing his warmup pitches ahead of the bottom of the fifth inning, and he left the field after being looked at by the training staff. Woodruff allowed two runs on two hits with four strikeouts and one walk across four innings prior to his exit, and his availability going forward is now in question.

Gomber won't start as scheduled Friday against the Nationals after the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

The game will be made up via a doubleheader Saturday, and Gomber should start one of those contests. Chad Kuhl, who is Saturday's regularly scheduled starter, should start the other game.

Sanchez (shoulder) is now throwing from 105 feet, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Sanchez hasn't pitched since September of 2020 and continues to make very incremental progress from the from the shoulder injury which wiped out his entire 2021 campaign. He threw from 45 feet in late April, 60 feet in early May and 90 feet in the middle of the month. He's at least trending in the right direction, but not at a speed which suggests he'll be ready for a rehab assignment any time soon.
