Miley (elbow) threw 15 pitches off a mound Saturday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Miley missed the start of the season due to left elbow inflammation, but he's been taking steps in the right direction over the past week. He still has a way to go before he's ready for game action.

Wainwright will start Tuesday's series opener in Miami, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Wainwright initially lined up to start Wednesday's game against the Marlins, but he'll instead start on normal rest a day earlier. The right-hander took the loss Thursday against the Brewers when he allowed four runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out seven in 4.1 innings.

Flaherty (shoulder) is throwing from approximately 120 feet Saturday, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Flaherty has reported progress in his right shoulder recently, and he's now been able to throw off flat ground on back-to-back days. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to resume mound work, but the 26-year-old is encouraged with the progress he's made in his rehab so far.

Gore didn't factor into the decision Friday against Atlanta after allowing two runs on three hits and two walks while fanning three across 5.1 innings.

Gore ended just two outs away from posting a quality start in what was a strong MLB debut for one of the best prospects in the Padres' farm system. His tenure with the big-league club will probably be tied to Blake Snell's recovery from a groin injury, but it shouldn't be ruled out to see Gore stick with the team if he performs well. Friday's outing was certainly a step in the right direction for the 23-year-old southpaw.

Wright gave up two runs on five hits while fanning nine across five innings Friday against the Padres. He also hit a batter and did not factor in the decision.

Wright couldn't keep the opposition scoreless as he did against the Reds in his 2022 debut, but he was similarly dominant with the swing-and-miss. It's still early in the season but his strikeout numbers are eye-popping (15 strikeouts and just one walk through his first 11 innings). Wright is expected to make his next start against the Marlins at home next week.

Lopez (1-0) picked up the win in Friday's 7-1 victory over the Phillies, giving up four hits and two walks over 5.1 scoreless innings. He struck out two.

The right-hander had to deal with steady traffic on the bases, but Lopez didn't allow a baserunner to get past second. He's been sharp to begin the season, posting a 0.87 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 8:3 K:BB through 10.1 innings, and Lopez will try to stay locked in during his next scheduled start Thursday, at home against the Cardinals.

Eflin (0-1) took the loss Friday as the Phillies fell 7-1 to the Marlins, coughing up four runs on six hits and a walk over four innings. He struck out four.

Miami struck for a pair of runs in each of the first two innings, and while Eflin righted the ship after that, he still got the hook after 81 pitches (49 strikes). The right-hander hasn't lasted five innings in either of his first two starts this season, posting a 4.50 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 7:3 K:BB through eight innings, and he'll be a risky option in his next scheduled outing Wednesday, on the road at Coors Field against the Rockies.

Marquez gave up four runs on 10 hits and a walk across 4.1 innings Friday against the Cubs. He didn't factor into the decision.

Marquez couldn't repeat his excellent debut when he gave up one run across seven innings against the Dodgers and didn't even come close to posting a quality start in this one, but the offense picked up the slack and allowed the right-hander to escape with a no-decision. Marquez will be looking for his first win of the season when he takes on the Phillies at home next week.

Keller (0-2) took the loss Friday, giving up four runs on seven hits and three walks over 3.2 innings as the Pirates were downed 7-2 by the Nationals. He struck out four.

The velocity gains Keller flashed in workout videos during the offseason have proven to be legit -- he popped 99.2 mph with a fastball in the first inning Friday and was consistently sitting in the high 90s -- but that hasn't done anything to alleviate the control and command issues that have plagued him in the majors. Keller now sports a 9.39 ERA, 2.35 WHIP and 12.2 percent walk rate through his first 7.2 innings this season, and until he can learn to harness his plus stuff, he'll remain difficult to deploy in fantasy. The 26-year-old right-hander is next scheduled to take the mound Wednesday in Milwaukee.

Stroman (0-1) allowed five runs on six hits across four innings to take the loss Friday against the Rockies. He walked one and struck out four.

As is the case with many pitchers, Stroman struggled to find his footing at Coors Field. The righty actually looked good through three innings, but the Rockies tallied five runs on four hits and a walk in the fourth inning. The big blow was a three-run home run by Alan Trejo. The tough outing pushed Stroman's season ERA to 6.00, though better days should be ahead. He lines up to face the Rays on Wednesday in his next scheduled start.
