Corbin will start Saturday's game against Miami, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

The left-hander has struggled mightily in 2021, posting an 0-3 record and a 10.47 ERA in four starts. Corbin will look to get his season pointed in the right direction against Miami.

Carrasco (hamstring) threw five innings in a game at the Mets' spring training facility Thursday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Carrasco's season has been disrupted by first elbow and then hamstring issues, but he appears to be almost ready to return. The Mets are aiming for him to return in the second week of May, so he's expected to make one more rehab start, which could come on the first day of the minor-league season Tuesday.

Soroka (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday.

The 23-year-old isn't expected to debut until at least mid-June after being shut down with the shoulder issue in early April, so the move to the long-term injured list won't affect his recovery timeline since the 60-day timeframe is backdated to the start of the season. Soroka resumed throwing earlier this week and will need to go through a full buildup program before progressing to game action.

Senzatela allowed three runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out three over 4.2 innings in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Thursday. He didn't factor into the decision.

The righty labored through this one, throwing a whopping 104 pitches in under five innings of work. Senzatela now has a 5.76 ERA for a Rockies team that has struggled immensely through the season's first month. After breaking out with a 3.44 ERA and 1.21 WHIP (albeit with a meager 5.5 K/9) in 2020, Senzatela has regressed so far in 2021. He'll try to turn things around Tuesday against the Giants.

Lauer (1-0) beat the Dodgers on Thursday, going five innings and permitting no runs on four hits and two walks with three strikeouts in a 2-1 win.

Making his first start of the season after Zack Godley was placed on the IL, Lauer was able to shut down the Dodgers' high-powered offense before being pulled after only 73 pitches. This was an encouraging first outing on the heels of a disastrous 2020 campaign, and it may have earned Lauer another turn in the Brewers' rotation.

Wainwright will be placed on the COVID-19 injured list after a family member tested positive, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

The move is said to be precautionary, though Wainwright will not travel with the team for its weekend series in Pittsburgh. Assuming he tests negative, the team is hopeful that he will be able to take the mound Monday against the Mets.

Kim allowed one run on seven hits over five innings in a no-decision against the Phillies on Thursday. He struck out four and did not issue a walk.

The lefty more than held his own opposite Aaron Nola; Kim was actually in line to beat Nola before Giovanny Gallegos briefly lost the lead in the seventh inning. Kim induced 10 swinging strikes on 84 pitches and now has 16 strikeouts in 13.2 innings this season, so his strikeout rate is way up from 2020 even after his recent back injury. The Mets come to town next week.

Nola allowed three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out seven over six innings in a no-decision against the Cardinals on Thursday.

All three runs against Nola scored on one swing of the bat from Matt Carpenter. Nola had beaten the Cardinals back on April 18 in a 10-strikeout shutout, and while he couldn't get the win this time around, it was another quality effort. The right-hander now has a stellar 39:5 K:BB over 37.2 innings this season, supporting his 3.11 ERA. Nola tentatively lines up for two starts next week with the Phillies slated to play seven games.

Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said Fried (hamstring) looked sharp while throwing a live batting practice session Thursday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

In addition to throwing with no discomfort, Fried was able to field bunts and cover first base without incident, according to Snitker. Atlanta wants to see how Fried feels a day after the workout before deciding his next step, but he looks like he could be ready to return from the 10-day injured list early next week. If that's the case, Fried would likely start either Tuesday or Wednesday in Washington.

Burnes was placed on the injured list for an unspecified reason Thursday.

Since the Brewers didn't provide a reason for Burnes' placement on the injured list, the right-hander's absence is likely related to the COVID-19 health and safety protocols, according to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. If that's the case, Burnes will be able to return once he clears all phases of the protocol. Burnes had been scheduled to start Sunday's series finale against the Dodgers, but it's not clear whether he'll be cleared to return by then.
