Stroman (3-0) yielded one run on three hits and a walk over eight innings Sunday, striking out five and earning a win over Colorado.

Stroman was dominant at Coors Field on Sunday, starting his outing with six shutout innings. No Rockies runner made it past first base until the seventh inning when Trevor Story doubled and later scored. Stroman is now a perfect 3-0 with a stellar 0.90 ERA and 11:3 K:BB through 20 innings. He'll look to stay perfect Saturday at home against the Nationals.

Peralta allowed three runs on three hits and three walks with seven strikeouts in five innings versus the Pirates on Sunday. He did not factor in the decision.

All of the runs against Peralta came on a three-run blast by Colin Moran in the third inning. The 24-year-old Peralta hadn't allowed multiple runs in an appearance this season prior to Sunday. He has a 2.00 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 31:12 K:BB in 18 innings overall. The right-hander's next start is expected to be Saturday against the Cubs.

Giants manager Gabe Kapler said he expects Webb (COVID-19 injured list) will be ready to make his next scheduled turn through the rotation Tuesday in Philadelphia, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Webb was placed on the IL earlier Sunday as a precaution while he continues to experience lingering effects from the second COVID-19 vaccine shot he recently received. San Francisco is still listing Webb as its probable starter for Tuesday, so fantasy managers can probably count on him being ready to go for what's shaping up to be a two-start week. After Tuesday, Webb would line up to make a second start next Sunday versus the Marlins.

Hendricks (illness) will start in Sunday's series finale versus Atlanta.

A minor, non-COVID-19-related illness resulted in Hendricks being scratched ahead of his previously scheduled start Tuesday in Milwaukee, but he was cleared to make his next turn through the rotation after making a full recovery from the ailment. Hendricks was sharp in his last outing April 7 versus the Brewers, working six shutout innings while striking out six.

Nationals manager Dave Martinez said Sunday that Strasburg (shoulder) doesn't have a clear timetable to return from the 10-day injured list, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.

Martinez noted that the decision to place Strasburg on the IL was made after he felt off during his usual between-starts bullpen session, prompting the Nationals to send him in for an MRI. With the MRI revealing inflammation in his right shoulder, Strasburg will likely back off throwing for at least a few days before the Nationals check back in and see how he's healed. Until Strasburg begins throwing again off a mound, a firm target date for his return is unlikely to emerge. Paolo Espino was summoned from the Nationals' alternate site to replace Strasburg for a spot start Sunday against the Diamondbacks.

The Giants clarified that Webb was placed on the injured list Sunday due to lingering effects from the second COVID-19 vaccine shot he recently received, Mark W. Sanchez of KNBR 680 San Francisco reports.

San Francisco is optimistic that Webb will be feeling closer to 100 percent within one or two days, and he'll be eligible to come off the IL at any point the Giants deem him ready to go. Assuming that's the case, Webb should still be on track to start Tuesday's game in Philadelphia, where he'll be stepping into the rotation as a replacement for the injured Johnny Cueto (lat).

The Giants will first require a replacement in the rotation for Webb on Tuesday in Philadelphia.

The transaction is retroactive to Thursday, so Strasburg should be eligible to return from the IL by March 25. Strasburg wasn't known to have been dealing with an injury coming out of his most recent start Tuesday in St. Louis, but the shoulder issue may explain why the right-hander was lit up for eight runs (seven earned) over four innings in the loss. Washington will turn to Paolo Espino to make a spot start for Strasburg in Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks, but Erick Fedde is most likely to stick in the rotation as a fifth starter if Strasburg ends up missing extended time.

The Giants activated Wood from the 10-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start Sunday against the Marlins, Mark W. Sanchez of KNBR 680 San Francisco reports.

Wood will be making his season and Giants debut in the series finale in Miami after a back strain kept him sidelined for the first two weeks of the season. Because of the time he missed, Wood's pitch count will likely be monitored carefully Sunday, but he shouldn't face many restrictions in any subsequent starts he receives. While with the Dodgers in 2020, Wood made nine appearances (two starts) and posted a 6.39 ERA, 1.82 WHIP and 15:6 K:BB in 12.2 innings.

Kim allowed three runs on five hits and a walk while fanning four across three innings Saturday against the Phillies. He didn't factor into the decision.

Kim was activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Saturday's start, and while the veteran left-hander was unable to pitch past the third, it's fair to say the Cardinals are being cautious with him -- he only tossed 68 pitches (42 strikes) before departing the contest. The 32-year-old left-hander finished the 2020 MLB regular season with a sparkling 1.62 ERA to go along with a 1.03 WHIP and a 24:12 K:BB over 39 frames..
