Dustin May SP | MIL
Dodgers' Dustin May: Dominating at Low-A
May, 19, has a 3.24 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 78:17 K:BB in 80.2 innings for Low-A Great Lakes.
The 101st overall pick in last year's draft, May has faced very little resistance in the Midwest League, and may be ready for more of a challenge in the coming weeks. He has a very projectable 6-foot-6, 180-pound frame, a plus fastball, above-average slider and excellent command -- ingredients that could lead to him being the next great Dodgers pitching prospect.

Kyle Hendricks SP | LAA
Cubs' Kyle Hendricks: Will begin rehab assignment Monday
Hendricks (hand) will head to Double-A Tennessee on Monday for a rehab appearance, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.
Hendricks seemingly aced his bullpen session prior to Saturday's game against the Pirates and will move on to the next step of his recovery. Since Hendricks hasn't pitched since early June, the right-hander could be in line for an additional rehab outing depending on whether the organization feels as though he could use the extra work. The plan remains for Hendricks to return shortly after the All-Star break, with more information to come following his start with Tennessee on Monday.

Carlos Martinez SP | SF
Cardinals' Carlos Martinez: Roughed up by Mets on Friday
Martinez (6-8) allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks over five innings while striking out four in Friday's loss to the Mets.
The Cardinals offense backed him with four homers, but they were all of the solo variety and weren't enough on a night when Martinez was throwing only 49 of 80 pitches for strikes and giving up two blasts of his own. The right-hander has hit a rough patch heading into the break, posting a 5.73 ERA, 1.64 WHIP, 4.9 BB/9 and 2.5 HR/9 over his last four starts, but that won't stop him from appearing in his second All-Star Game on Tuesday.

Jacob deGrom SP | TEX
Mets' Jacob deGrom: Survives homer barrage Friday
DeGrom (9-3) gave up four runs on eight hits -- including four solo home runs -- over seven innings while striking out five in Friday's win over the Cardinals.
It was far from his best effort, as deGrom gave up back-to-back jacks to lead off the third and fourth innings, but he buckled down after that and got enough run support to pick up the victory. The right-hander is set to kick off the second half for the Mets next Friday at home against the Rockies.

Kenta Maeda SP | NYY
Dodgers' Kenta Maeda: Notches seventh win with solid outing
Maeda (7-4) allowed a single run on four hits and two walks while striking out five batters through five innings during Friday's win over Kansas City.
It's been a little difficult to peg Maeda this season for a number of reasons. Not only has he been inconsistent, but he's not pitching deep into games and has even made a couple of relief appearances. His 4.38 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 8.9 K/9 are serviceable fantasy marks, and with the Dodgers running away with the National League, everything is in place for Maeda to improve and show more consistency in the second half.

Zack Greinke SP | KC
Diamondbacks' Zack Greinke: Grabs 11th win Friday
Greinke (11-4) pitched seven scoreless innings with seven strikeouts during Friday's win over Cincinnati. He allowed just four hits and a walk.
Greinke capped off an excellent first half in style and enters the All-Star break with a 2.86 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 10.1 K/9. He's been a go-to fantasy asset in all settings, and the 33-year-old veteran projects to continue providing high-end results going forward. Greinke will probably make his next start against Atlanta at SunTrust Park following his appearance in the All-Star Game.
-
German Marquez SP | SD
Rockies' German Marquez: Improves to 6-4
Marquez (6-4) allowed just three runs on nine hits while striking out five batters through seven innings during Friday's win over the White Sox.
Any time a hurler holds an opponent to just three runs through seven at Coors Field it's a strong showing. Marquez's 4.36 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 7.9 K/9 aren't dominant numbers, but the 22-year-old righty is definitely on the fantasy radar. He's probably not a matchup-proof option, and Coors is a tough home venue, but Marquez also entered Friday's game with a solid 3.54 ERA through his past 10 outings.

Brandon Finnegan SP | CHW
Reds' Brandon Finnegan: Undergoes right shoulder surgery
Finnegan underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right (non-throwing) shoulder Friday, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
Apparently Finnegan was injured in a fall away from the field. Finnegan was already on the 60-day DL due to a strained muscle in his left shoulder, and it's uncertain if he will throw another pitch in 2017.
-
Trevor Williams RP | TEX
Pirates' Trevor Williams: Suffers fourth loss of season Friday
Williams (3-4) allowed three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three over 3.2 innings to take the loss Friday against the Cubs.
Williams was solid through three innings before struggling his second time through the lineup, leading to his early exit. His rough outing represented the first time he's failed to post a quality start over his last four outings, but his 4.80 ERA makes him difficult to consistently trust in fantasy lineups. He'll make his next start at a time yet to be determined after the All-Star break.

Zack Wheeler SP | PHI
Mets' Zack Wheeler: Slated to start Saturday
Wheeler is the scheduled starter for Saturday's game against the Cardinals, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.
With a rainout pushing Jacob deGrom into Friday's series opener, the team will simply move Wheeler into the regular rotation spot of Rafael Montero. The 27-year-old righty hasn't made it through four innings over his last three outings and only recently returned from a DL stint due to biceps tendinitis, so he'll be looking for a strong bounce-back game prior to the upcoming All-Star break.
