Cease allowed two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out 10 over 6.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Angels on Tuesday.

Cease pitched well, but he was charged with a second run after leaving the game when Jeremiah Estrada couldn't keep the Angels at bay in the seventh inning. This was the second start in a row where Cease has set a season high in strikeouts, and he also pitched into the seventh inning for the third time this season. He's at a 4.60 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 58:18 K:BB across 47 innings through nine starts. A nine-run dud against the Athletics on April 8 continues to skew his overall numbers -- he's yet to allow more than three runs in any other start. He's projected to make his next start on the road at Toronto.

Leiter (3-2) earned the win Tuesday against the Rockies after allowing one run on two hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out five.

Facing a paltry Rockies lineup, Leiter turned in his longest start of the season and certainly his finest since coming off the injured list. The 25-year-old right-hander had given up 12 runs over his last 13 innings (three starts) since returning from a finger issue, with Tuesday marking his first quality start in 2025. Leiter owns a 4.34 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 23:14 K:BB across 29 innings on the campaign, and he'll face a tough test in his next scheduled outing this weekend versus an improving Astros offense.

Freeland (0-6) took the loss Tuesday against the Rangers after allowing three runs on six hits and one walk in six innings. He struck out five.

It was the fourth quality start of the year for Freeland, whose six hits allowed were his fewest in a road outing since his first appearance of 2025. Although the left-hander has a poor 6.15 ERA and 1.59 WHIP on the season, he owns a respectable 4.25 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 22:5 K:BB over 29.2 innings on the road. With his next appearance set to come at home next week versus the Phillies, however, Freeland won't be a recommended fantasy option at hitter-friendly Coors Field.

Allen (2-2) yielded three hits and a walk over six scoreless frames Tuesday, striking out six and earning a win over the Brewers.

Allen was terrific Tuesday, allowing only one extra-base hit and at one point retiring 13 consecutive batters. It marked his first time completing six innings this season and he earned his first win since April 15. He tossed 57 of 89 pitches for strikes and generated a season-high 11 whiffs. Allen lowered his ERA to 3.70 to go alongside a 31:20 K:BB through 41.1 innings this season. His next start is projected to be in Minnesota.

Valdez didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Royals after allowing one run on six hits and one walk in eight innings. He struck out seven.

Valdez was highly efficient with his 89 pitches, inducing a whopping 12 groundouts and tossing eight innings for the second time this year. The star left-hander has experienced a few hiccups in 2025, but he's now fired at least six innings while giving up two runs or fewer in six of his nine starts this season. Valdez will carry a strong 3.54 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 51:18 K:BB across 56 innings overall into his next scheduled outing against the Rays, who have a miserable .571 OPS versus left-handed pitching over their first 40 games.

Priester (1-2) yielded a run on three hits and two walks over five innings Tuesday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Guardians.

Priester coughed up a solo homer to Jose Ramirez in the first inning but kept Cleveland's bats fairly quiet for the next four frames. It was Priester's second straight loss despite yielding only two earned runs (four total runs) in those outings. He threw 39 of 69 pitches for strikes and forced only four whiffs Tuesday. His ERA fell to 4.59 with a 23:21 K:BB through 33.1 innings. Priester is lined up to face the Orioles at home next week.

Bubic didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Astros after allowing one run on six hits and one walk in 6.1 innings. He struck out nine.

Bubic established a season high and tied a career best in punchouts, generating a staggering 22 swinging strikes. Not only was it the sixth quality start of the year for the left-hander, but Tuesday also marked the fifth time in nine starts that he worked at least six frames while giving up one run or fewer. Bubic will take a superb 1.66 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 56:15 K:BB across 54.1 innings into his next scheduled appearance against the Giants, who own a weak .638 OPS versus left-handed pitching over their first 42 games.

The Dodgers placed Sasaki on the 15-day injured list Tuesday with a right shoulder impingement.

Sasaki came away from his last start Friday with a bit of soreness in his shoulder, and further evaluation determined it would be best for the 23-year-old righty to sit down for at least a couple of weeks. J.P. Feyereisen was recalled from Triple-A to fill the open spot on the pitching staff, though it's still unknown who will take Sasaki's place in the starting rotation.

Gilbert (elbow) threw roughly 25 pitches in Tuesday's bullpen session, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Gilbert was able to ramp up the intensity for his final few throws of the day, exceeding 94 mph on multiple occasions. Most importantly, the right-hander didn't experience any discomfort in his elbow following the session. Gilbert will likely begin a rehab assignment in the near future, presumably one consisting of multiple starts before he returns to the major-league roster.

Sasaki reported soreness in his right arm after his most recent start Friday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Manager Dave Roberts said the Dodgers are still trying to determine whether Sasaki's arm will force him to spend time on the injured list. The 23-year-old righty is currently due to start Thursday's game against the Athletics, though the team may have to turn to its minor-league depth or bullpen to get them through the series finale if Sasaki is unable to pitch.
