Knack has joined the Dodgers in Miami and is a candidate to start Wednesday's game, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Knack has not been added to the active roster, and the Dodgers have not divulged pitching plans for Wednesday's series finale, but Knack is a logical candidate to take the ball that day, whether it's as a traditional starter or bulk reliever. The righty has yielded seven runs with a 7:6 K:BB over 8.2 innings covering two starts and one relief appearance with the big club in 2025.

The Mariners designated Castillo for assignment Tuesday.

The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for waiver claim Leody Taveras. Castillo has posted a 7.71 ERA, 2.71 WHIP and 5:7 K:BB across seven innings (two starts) this season during his time in the majors.

The Yankees designated Carrasco for assignment Tuesday.

Carrasco made the Yankees' Opening Day rotation as a non-roster invitee, but he went on to post a 5.91 ERA with just 25 strikeouts over 32 innings covering six starts and two relief appearances. There's a good chance Carrasco clears waivers, and if he does, he will have the ability to elect free agency.

Lowder (forearm) will begin a rehab assignment with the Reds' Arizona Complex League affiliate on Tuesday.

Lowder missed all of spring training with a right forearm strain but has been cleared to pitch in games after a long rehab process. The right-hander isn't guaranteed a spot in the Reds' rotation once he's deemed physically ready, although it will depend on how he's pitching at the time and what the major-league team's needs are.

The Reds optioned Zulueta to Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday.

Zulueta had pitched two of the previous three days, allowing one run over 2.1 innings. He'll be replaced by a fresh bullpen arm in Lyon Richardson.

Hoglund is scheduled to start Wednesday's game against the Mariners in Sacramento.

The 25-year-old righty will be awarded a second turn through the rotation following an excellent MLB debut this past Friday, when he limited the Marlins to one earned run on six hits and no walks while striking out seven over six innings en route to picking up the win. Oakland will likely have a spot in the rotation available for Hoglund as long as J.T. Ginn (elbow) remains on the injured list.

Dollander (finger) has been cleared to start Tuesday's game against the Tigers at Coors Field, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Dollander was lifted after covering 5.2 innings and tossing 88 pitches in his most recent start last Wednesday against Atlanta due to a split fingernail on his pitching hand, but after receiving treatment, the rookie won't have to miss a turn through the rotation. Through his first five big-league outings, Dollander has gone 2-3 with a 6.48 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 25:10 K:BB across 25 innings.

Henry allowed one hit and struck out one over 2.2 scoreless innings in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Mets.

Henry was promoted Sunday from Triple-A Reno, where he was part of the Aces' rotation. The Diamondbacks envisioned needing his length with Monday's scheduled starter, Corbin Burnes, scratched due to a shoulder injury. The length was needed when long reliever Ryne Nelson, filling in for Burnes, tired in the fourth inning. Another member of the rotation, Merrill Kelly, is dealing with cramping issues in his hamstring, but he's scheduled to start Wednesday. Henry will likely stick around for a bit, as Nelson will need a few days before he's ready to pitch again.

Miller allowed four runs on seven hits and struck out one without walking a batter in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Monday.

Miller battled a back issue in his previous start, but he didn't appear to be limited Monday, throwing 63 of 94 pitches for strikes. While he found the zone just fine, he wasn't fooling the Athletics' hitters much. This was Miller's shortest start of the season by innings pitched, and it's the third time he's allowed at least four runs. He's at a mediocre 4.15 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 32:19 K:BB over 34.2 innings across seven starts, but this was his first start of the season in which he avoided walking a batter. Miller is projected for a home start versus the Blue Jays this weekend.

Severino allowed four runs on five hits and four walks while striking out five over six innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners on Monday.

Severino gave up all four runs in the third inning, but the Athletics quickly got him off the hook by tying the game in the fourth. The four walks matched his season high, and it was the first time in five starts Severino had allowed four or more runs. The right-hander has a 3.62 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 38:17 K:BB over 49.2 innings across eight starts this season. His next start is projected to be at home against one of his former teams, the Yankees, this weekend.
