Carrasco tossed three innings in relief in Sunday's 7-5 loss to Tampa Bay, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk while striking out three batters.

Carrasco started in six of his first seven appearances this season, but he covered the final three frames for the Yankees on Sunday. The veteran hurler surrendered two runs in his first inning but settled in and held the Rays scoreless over the eighth and ninth frames. Carrasco's most recent start came Wednesday, but his schedule got shifted due to Clarke Schmidt (side) getting scratched from his start Saturday and pushed to start this coming Tuesday. After his appearance Sunday, Carrasco appears in line to return to the rotation versus the Athletics in Sacramento next weekend.

May (1-2) allowed four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out six over 5.2 innings, taking the loss Sunday versus Atlanta.

Four of the seven baserunners May allowed led to trouble, as he twice put Alex Verdugo aboard before Austin Riley homered in the first and third innings. The long ball hasn't typically been a problem for May this year -- he had allowed just one homer over his first five starts. He's now at a 4.36 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 28:14 K:BB across 33 innings. His 3.8 BB/9 is a bit elevated, and he's walked multiple batters in five of six starts, so that's an area he'll need to improve in to find more success. May is projected for a road start in Arizona in his next trip to the mound.

Elder (2-1) allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six over five-plus innings to earn the win over the Dodgers on Sunday.

Elder gave up an RBI double to Max Muncy in the fourth inning, and Muncy added a second RBI with a sixth-inning groundout against Pierce Johnson after Elder put two runners on base. Other than that, it was a third straight positive performance for Elder, who is doing a fair job of holding onto a place in Atlanta's rotation. His six strikeouts Sunday were a season high, and he's allowed just six runs over his last 17 innings across three starts, a span that includes both of his wins this season. The right-hander is projected to make his next start at Pittsburgh.

Megill allowed four runs on four hits and three walks while striking out six over five innings, taking a no-decision in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Cardinals.

Megill allowed a two-run home run in the second inning and ran into more trouble in the third, allowing a two-run lead to slip away in that frame. This was his worst start of the season so far, and it was also the second outing in a row he's allowed a homer. The right-hander still has a strong 2.50 ERA with a 1.17 WHIP and 45:15 K:BB over 36 innings across seven starts. Megill will look to get back on track in his next projected start, a tough home matchup versus the Cubs.

Pallante allowed four runs on nine hits and four walks while striking out one over 3.1 innings in the nightcap of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Mets. He did not factor in the decision.

This was Pallante's shortest outing of the season and the third time he's failed to complete five innings over seven starts. Pallante is now at a 4.75 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 21:16 K:BB over 36 innings. Michael McGreevy finished off the nightcap with 5.2 innings of one-hit ball out of the bullpen, and if the Cardinals opt to adjust the composition of their rotation, he'd be a candidate to push Pallante out of the mix. If there are no changes to the starters, Pallante is tentatively projected for a road start at Washington in his next outing.

Fedde (2-3) earned the win in the first game of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Mets. He allowed three runs on six hits and five walks while striking out four over five innings.

Fedde's start was pushed back a day after Saturday's rainout. He was able to earn a win for the first time since his season debut, but he was not at his best, as the five walks were a season high. The 32-year-old right-hander has had some trouble with control this season, as evidenced by his 21:21 K:BB over 37.2 innings across seven starts. He's added a mediocre 4.78 ERA and 1.46 WHIP. Fedde's next start is projected to be on the road versus one of his former teams, the Nationals.

Weathers (forearm) struck out four and allowed two earned runs on two hits and four walks in 2.2 innings in his second rehab start Friday with Triple-A Jacksonville.

After tossing three perfect innings in his first rehab outing at Single-A Jupiter on April 27, Weathers wasn't nearly as efficient Friday while shifting his assignment to Triple-A, but he built up from 35 pitches to 64. The southpaw is scheduled to pitch once more with Jacksonville, and if he can deliver improved results while also increasing his workload, he could be cleared to return from the 15-day injured list and make his Miami debut early next week. Weathers missed considerable time in 2024 due to a left index finger sprain, but he was highly effective over his 16 starts with Miami last season, logging a 3.63 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 80:24 K:BB across 86.2 innings.

Marquez (0-6) yielded five runs on six hits over 4.1 innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Giants.

Marquez's struggles continued Sunday as he took his sixth consecutive loss and allowed at least five runs for the fifth straight outing. He gave up a pair of solo homers to Willy Adames, but most of the damage came during San Francisco's three-run fifth inning. Marquez owns a hideous 9.90 ERA with an 18:12 K:BB through 30 innings this season. Since throwing six shutout frames in his season debut, he's coughed up 33 earned runs over 24 innings (12.38 ERA). Marquez will continue his quest for his first win in his next outing, which is lined up to be at home against the Padres next weekend.

Bellozo is scheduled to start Wednesday's game against the Dodgers in Miami.

Bellozo received the call back to the big leagues last week and stepped in as Miami's new No. 5 starter after Connor Gillispie was demoted to Triple-A Jacksonville. The 25-year-old righty didn't have a strong showing in his start this past Friday, taking a loss to the Athletics while allowing five earned runs on four hits and four walks. Despite the poor outing, Bellozo will receive a second turn through the rotation, but he's unlikely to be in line for a lengthy stay with the big club. Ryan Weathers (forearm) has already made two rehab starts in the minors and could be ready to come off the 15-day injured list to bump Bellozo from the rotation by the middle of the month.

Webb (4-2) allowed a run on six hits and two walks over seven innings Sunday, striking out six and earning a win over Colorado.

Webb tossed four shutout frames before the Rockies broke through with a run in the fifth inning. He limited the damage and picked up an easy win after his hiccup against the Padres in his last outing. Webb has delivered five quality starts in eight appearances this season, resulting in a 2.61 ERA over 48.1 innings. He's struck out at least six batters in four straight starts and is now sporting a 56:13 K:BB. Webb is lined up to start in Minnesota next weekend.
