Suarez (back) will begin a rehab assignment with Single-A Clearwater on Thursday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Suarez is slated to throw three innings for Clearwater in what will be his first game appearance since he went down with lower-back stiffness in mid-March. The left-hander will likely require at least two additional rehab starts before rejoining the Phillies' rotation. Taijuan Walker will continue to hold down a rotation spot for Philadelphia until Suarez is ready to return.

Lopez underwent arthroscopic shoulder surgery Tuesday and will be shut down for 12 weeks, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

The surgery was termed as a "clean-up" procedure by manager Brian Snitker. Lopez will be reevaluated after the 12 weeks, and the hope is the right-hander will be able to pitch again late in the season. The good news for Atlanta is that Spencer Strider (elbow) is nearing a return to the rotation, as he's scheduled to make his final rehab start later this week.

The Rangers transferred Bradford (elbow) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Tuesday.

Bradford is still working his way back from a sprained left elbow that he suffered during spring training. He won't be eligible to return until late May at the earliest.

The Red Sox designated Stock for assignment Tuesday, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

The right-hander was selected to Boston's 40-man roster and pitched against the Blue Jays on Monday, giving up one run on three hits and a walk over two innings. Stock could return to Triple-A Worcester if he passes through waivers unclaimed.

McCullers (forearm) covered 1.2 innings in his rehab start Saturday with Double-A Corpus Christi, striking out one batter while allowing four runs (two earned) on four hits and three walks.

McCullers made the second start of his rehab assignment after covering two innings for Triple-A Sugar Land on March 30. Though his command and control left much to be desired Saturday, McCullers was still able to build up to 50 pitches after tossing 35 in his previous outing. He'll make his next appearance for Triple-A Sugar Land this Saturday and may require just one additional rehab outing after that before the Astros potentially bring him back from the 15-day injured list. Houston could look to McCullers to fill the opening in the rotation created by the loss of Spencer Arrighetti, who appears headed for an extended absence after fracturing his right thumb Monday.

The Dodgers recalled Wrobleski from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

Wrobleski will start Tuesday against the Nationals and could earn additional opportunities while Blake Snell (shoulder) is sidelined. The young left-hander held a 5.70 ERA,1.38 WHIP and 26:16 K:BB across 36.1 innings with the big club last season and tossed 5.2 scoreless frames with Oklahoma City in his first outing of the season.

Forret struck out five while allowing two hits and two walks across 4.2 scoreless innings in his season debut for High-A Aberdeen on Saturday.

There was an incorrect report that Forret was headed to Double-A, but he still needs to put in more work at the High-A level. Forret had a 4.35 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 75:29 K:BB in 60 innings at High-A last year.

The Guardians transferred Means (elbow) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Tuesday.

The left-hander is only about 10 months removed from undergoing his second career Tommy John surgery, so it was only a matter of time before he was moved to the 60-day IL. Means continues to ramp up his throwing program and isn't expected to be ready for game action until late in the season.

Strider (elbow) has a target of about 90 pitches for his rehab start at Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday, which is likely to be his final appearance in the minors before being activated from the 15-day injured list, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

The right-hander appears on track to make his 2025 debut either next Tuesday or Wednesday during a series in Toronto, although Atlanta has yet to announce its plans for Strider past Thursday's rehab start with Gwinnett. Through two rehab appearances with Gwinnett so far, Strider has a 1.08 ERA and 14:3 K:BB over 8.1 innings.

Single-A Modesto placed Gough on the full-season injured list as he recovers from Tommy John surgery he underwent in September, Jonathan Mayo of MLB Pipeline reports.

Gough had a 3.21 ERA for Modesto over the first three months last year but faded in the second half before getting shut down in late August with an elbow injury that required surgery. He will miss the full season and should be fully recovered for spring training in 2026.
