Nelson allowed three runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out three over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Tuesday.

Nelson has worked into the seventh inning in each of his last three outings. He's given up seven runs with an 18:3 K:BB over that span, though he's also allowed four home runs, including two in Tuesday's contest. The right-hander is now at a 5.19 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 46:16 K:BB through 52 innings over 10 starts this season. He'll look to keep his streak of quality starts going at home over the weekend against the Rockies.

White was scratched from his scheduled start Wednesday at Triple-A Jacksonville for precautionary reasons, FishOnFirst.com reports.

The Marlins decided to send Braxton Garrett to the minors following his poor start Tuesday, and although nothing is official just yet, scratching White from his start suggests that he may be called up to join the big-league rotation within the next few days. The 21-year-old southpaw is considered to be one of the top pitching prospects in the sport but has gotten off to a shaky start in Triple-A this year, posting a 4.34 ERA and 1.48 WHIP alongside a 25:9 K:BB through 18.2 innings across five starts. If he ends up getting the call, he would figure to have plenty of time to establish himself in the rotation.

Brown (1-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Brewers, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six over five innings.

After back-to-back four-inning outings in which he allowed just one total hit, Brown had a tougher time navigating traffic Tuesday. The right-hander allowed at least three baserunners in two separate innings, leading to Milwaukee breaking through against him. Even so, the swing-and-miss arsenal remained impressive, as Brown generated 15 whiffs during the outing. Despite the loss, he still owns an excellent 2.09 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 40:12 K:BB across 38.2 innings this season. Brown is slated to face Pittsburgh in his next start.

Keller allowed four runs on four hits and one walk while striking out three batters over 5.2 innings in a no-decision against St. Louis on Tuesday.

Keller began his outing with two scoreless frames before giving up a two-run homer to JJ Wetherholt in the third. The Cardinals tacked on another run in the fourth inning, and the final run on Keller's line came after he was pulled with two outs in the sixth. Keller managed just seven whiffs and three punchouts, and he's had four or fewer strikeouts in seven of his 10 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start in Toronto.

Misiorowski (4-2) earned the win Tuesday against the Cubs, allowing three hits and one walk while striking out eight over six scoreless innings.

Misiorowski continued his dominant run through May, throwing 53 of his 74 pitches for strikes while generating 12 whiffs on 36 swings against Chicago's lineup. The hard-throwing right-hander has now gone four straight starts without allowing a run, covering 24.1 innings with a dominant 37:5 K:BB during that stretch. His elite strikeout ability continues to separate him from the rest of the league, as he now leads MLB with 88 strikeouts while carrying an absurd 39.6 percent strikeout rate. On the season, Misiorowski owns a sparkling 1.89 ERA and 0.88 WHIP across 57 innings and will look to stay hot in his next scheduled start against the Cardinals.

Liberatore allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out nine batters over 4.2 innings in a no-decision against Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Liberatore began the game well, opening with four scoreless frames. However, he lost steam in the fifth, giving up four runs on four hits and two walks before being pulled. While that soured Liberatore's outing significantly, a positive takeaway is that he racked up 13 whiffs and a season-high nine punchouts after previously not striking out more than six batters in any appearance. Liberatore will carry a mediocre 4.70 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 43:20 K:BB across 51.2 innings into his next start, which is lined up to be a road matchup against Cincinnati.

Thornton will start Wednesday's game against the Nationals, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Thornton's start Wednesday will mark his MLB debut, and the Mets have officially decided not to use the 24-year-old southpaw behind an opener. He'll be filling the opening left in New York's rotation by Clay Holmes (leg) and should receive several opportunities to make an impression with the big club before Kodai Senga (back) returns from the IL in a few weeks.

Cease (3-2) took the loss against the Yankees on Tuesday, allowing five runs on four hits and four walk while striking out nine across five innings.

It was an up-and-down performance from Cease, who recorded six of his nine punchouts through the first three innings, striking out the side in the third. However, Cease issued three of his four walks over the next two frames and gave up all five runs on homers by Ryan McMahon and Ben Rice in the fourth and fifth, respectively. Cease had given up just one home run through his first nine starts of the season, and Tuesday was the first time he yielded two homers in a start since last Aug. 21. He'll look to bounce back in his next start, which is lined up for this weekend at home against the Pirates.

Perez didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 8-4 win over the Marlins, giving up four runs on five hits and two walks over five innings, He struck out 10.

Moving back into the rotation after JR Ritchie was sent back down to Triple-A Gwinnett, Perez got ambushed by Miami for three runs in the bottom of the first inning, but he kept his focus and wound up setting a new career high in strikeouts while firing 55 of 78 pitches for strikes. The veteran southpaw sports a 2.85 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 38:13 K:BB through 41 innings over 10 appearances (six starts), and he'll look to keep rolling in his next outing, which lines up to come at home this weekend against the Nationals.

McLean (2-3) took the loss against the Nationals on Tuesday, allowing nine runs (six earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking out five across 5.2 innings.

McLean was afforded an early 5-0 run thanks to a pair of two-run homers by Bo Bichette, but that lead quickly evaporated after McLean gave up an inside-the-park grand slam to James Wood in the second inning and another five runs over the next two frames. Three of those five runs were unearned, but it was still a rough outing for McLean, whose six earned runs and eight hits were both career worsts. He'll take a 3.57 ERA and 1.03 WHIP over 58 innings into his next start, which is lined up for this weekend on the road against the Marlins.
