The Giants non-tendered Teng on Friday, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Teng was designated for assignment by the Giants on Tuesday, and the 25-year-old will now enter free agency. Teng spent most of the 2024 campaign with Triple-A Sacramento, where he struggled to an 8.60 ERA and 1.81 WHIP over 75.1 innings. He did manage to make his major-league debut in late March, and across four big-league outings he gave up 12 earned runs over 11 innings.

Atlanta non-tendered Salinas (shoulder) on Friday.

Salinas was claimed off waivers from the Athletics on Nov. 1, but his tenure with Atlanta will come to an end after roughly three weeks. The 23-year-old logged a 3.68 ERA and 1.55 WHIP with Double-A Midland last season, and he is expected to miss the first half of the 2025 campaign after undergoing shoulder surgery in late July.

Ynoa (elbow/shoulder) was non-tendered by Atlanta on Friday.

Ynoa has battled arm injuries for much of the last two seasons, posting only a combined 29.2 innings across all professional levels. He's expected to be healthy for the start of the 2025 campaign, so a team may be willing to give him a chance during spring training.

Atlanta non-tendered Canning on Friday.

Canning went 6-13 across a career-high 31 starts with the Angels in 2024 and struggled to a 5.19 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 130:66 K:BB over 171.2 innings. He was traded to Atlanta for Jorge Soler on Oct. 31, but he will not make it to spring training with the NL East squad. Canning will draw interest from teams in need of starting pitching or a right-hander who can deliver multi-inning relief out of the bullpen.

Suarez signed a one-year contract with the Angels on Friday to avoid arbitration, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

Suarez will remain with the Angels for a seventh season. Across 22 major-league outings in 2024, he posted a 6.02 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 56:27 K:BB across 52.1 innings.

The Rockies non-tendered Quantrill on Friday.

The Rockies will pass on a second year with Quantrill after the 29-year-old turned in a 4.98 ERA and 1.52 WHIP last season. He'll now attempt to latch on with another organization in free agency, though many teams may be turned away by his 5.04 ERA when pitching away from Coors Field.

Lively signed a one-year, $2.25 million deal with the Guardians to avoid arbitration Friday, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Lively was an effective member of the Guardians' rotation in 2024, maintaining a 3.81 ERA with a 118:49 K:BB across 151 innings. He battled some inconsistency due to his contact-heavy approach, but he is a strong candidate to begin the season in the rotation.

The Angels non-tendered Sandoval on Friday.

Sandoval underwent an internal brace surgery after tearing the UCL in his left elbow in late June, an injury that will take a full year to recover from. Despite a poor 5.08 ERA across 16 starts in 2024 prior to his injury, Sandoval could stick around with the Angels to continue his rehab program, though he might draw interest from a team looking to add a southpaw to its rotation.

The Cardinals non-tendered Kloffenstein (shoulder) on Friday.

Kloffenstein was placed on Triple-A Memphis' 7-day injured list in late July due to right shoulder discomfort, and the injury was serious enough for him to be sidelined for the rest of the 2024 campaign. He went 4-5 across 17 starts in Triple-A and posted a 4.74 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 73:41 K:BB across 89.1 innings.

The Royals traded Singer to the Reds on Friday in exchange for Jonathan India (ankle) and Joey Wiemer.

After posting a 5.52 ERA and 1.45 WHIP in 2023, Singer bounced back nicely with a 3.71 ERA and 1.27 WHIP to go along with a 170:54 K:BB in 2024. Now in Cincinnati, the 28-year-old shouldn't have much trouble securing a spot in the Reds' starting rotation, which is currently headlined by Hunter Greene.
