Gilbert (7-8) earned the win over the Mets on Saturday, hurling seven shutout innings while allowing three hits and one walk. He struck out six.

Gilbert didn't allow a runner to reach second base over the course of his seven shutout frames, posting three 1-2-3 innings on the night while generating 15 swings-and-misses. It marked the right-hander's fifth outing this season in which he's hurled at least seven scoreless innings and the second in his past five starts. Gilbert has also surrendered one run or fewer in four of his last five outings, posting a 34:2 K:BB over that stretch.

Munoz came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 9-8 extra-inning loss to the Padres, giving up three runs on six hits over five innings. He struck out three without walking a batter.

The rookie right-hander left the game after 87 pitches (53 strikes) with the Marlins ahead 7-3, but the bullpen couldn't secure the win for him. Munoz hasn't lasted more than five innings in five straight outings, posting a poor 6.08 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 20:9 K:BB through 23.2 innings over that stretch, but Miami doesn't have any better, healthier options to replace him in the rotation. He lines up to make his next start on the road next weekend against the Mets.

Waldron came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 9-8 extra-inning win over the Marlins, surrendering five runs on five hits and two walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out five.

Miami erupted for six runs in the fifth inning and chased the knuckleballer from the game after 83 pitches (51 strikes), but San Diego's hitters were able to bail Waldron out in the late innings before winning it in the 10th. The 27-year-old has failed to last six innings in three straight starts, a stretch in which he's stumbled to a 7.07 ERA despite a 1.21 WHIP and 18:5 K:BB through 14 innings. Waldron could have a hard time turning things around in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next weekend against the Rockies -- although he did deliver a quality start in his first career appearance at Coors Field back on April 24, allowing only one run over six innings.

Skenes (6-2) took the loss against the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing four runs on six hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out eight.

The Dodgers were able to get to Skenes early, tagging the rookie sensation for a run in the opening frame, two more in the third and another in the fifth, all coming across with two outs. The four runs allowed marked a season high for the right-hander and he's now taken a loss in two of his last three starts. On a positive note, Skenes was able to generate 13 swings-and-misses on the night while striking out at least eight batters for the 10th time in his last 12 outings.

Cole came away with a no-decision in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Rangers, allowing one run on six hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out 10.

The veteran right-hander generated a massive 26 swinging strikes on his 90 pitches as he recorded his first game of the season with double-digit strikeouts, but Cole left the mound with the score tied 1-1 and watched Luke Weaver immediately implode as his replacement. Cole has failed to last six innings in each of his last three outings, but the 33-year-old appears to be rounding into form after only making his season debut in mid-June -- he's given up two runs or less in four of his last five trips to the mound, posting a 3.45 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 33:6 K:BB through 28.2 innings over that stretch. He lines up to make his next start on the road next weekend in Detroit.

Bradford (4-0) picked up the win in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Yankees, allowing one run on five hits over five innings. He struck out seven without walking a batter.

The southpaw was sharp in his second start since rejoining the Rangers rotation, tossing 61 of 92 pitches for strikes and tying his season high in Ks. Bradford has yet to issue multiple free passes in any of his six big-league appearances this season, posting a 31:4 K:BB through 30 innings to go along with a 3.60 ERA and 0.93 WHIP. With Nathan Eovaldi (side) leaving the matinee early and Texas dealing with multiple other injured starters. Bradford could remain in the rotation for a little while longer.

Hudson did not factor into the decision in a loss to Atlanta on Saturday, allowing five runs on three hits and four walks over 2.2 innings while striking out one.

Hudson allowed the leadoff man to reach in each of his first two innings of work but was fortunate to draw double play balls on both occasions to help him escape unscathed. Things would begin to unravel for the right-hander in the third, however, as he issued walks to three of the first five batters he faced before eventually surrendering a two-out grand slam to Matt Olson. Hudson has now issued three or more walks in each of his last three starts for Colorado (dating back to June 28) and owns an 8:13 K:BB over that stretch. He's also failed to make it through five innings in each of his last two outings, though both of those have come at Coors Field.

Fried did not factor into the decision in a win over Colorado on Saturday, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits and three walks over five innings while striking out nine.

Fried struggled out of the gate, allowing at least three baserunners in each of the first three innings, leading to five runs coming across for Colorado -- though only four would be charged to the lefty due to one of the runners advancing on a passed ball. Fried did generate 12 whiffs on the night en route to recording his highest strikeout total since June 4 against the Red Sox. However, he's now allowed four or more runs in back-to-back starts since returning from the injured list and has issued at least three walks in five of his last seven outings (dating back to June 17).

Woods Richardson (3-3) took the loss against Cleveland on Saturday, allowing two runs on four hits and no walks while striking out seven batters over seven innings.

Despite being handed the defeat, this was one of the best starts of Woods Richardson's career. He completed seven frames for the first time as a major leaguer and needed just 89 pitches (62 of which were strikes) to do so. Woods Richardson also tied the second-highest single-game punchout total of his career and didn't walk a batter for the third time over 22 starts as a major leaguer. Though he hasn't won a game since June 26, Woods Richardson has given up three or fewer earned runs in six of his seven appearances since that victory.

Williams (2-4) earned the win over Minnesota on Saturday, allowing one run on four hits and no walks while striking out three batters over six innings.

Though Williams produced only three punchouts, he was very efficient and needed just 73 pitches (49 strikes) to get through six frames. The right-handed hurler kept the Twins off the scoreboard until his final inning, and Cleveland's bullpen was perfect the rest of the way to ensure Williams ended up with the win. This was an excellent bounce-back for the 25-year-old after he gave up six runs across four frames against Baltimore in his previous start. Williams will carry a 4.38 ERA into his next outing, which is tentatively slated to take place in Milwaukee.
