Sheehan and the Dodgers won't face the Yankees on Saturday since the game was postponed due to rain.

The two teams will make up Saturday's contest with a doubleheader Sunday, and it's likely that Sheehan will get the nod to start one of the two games. The 26-year-old has struggled overall this year to the tune of a 4.81 ERA through 82.1 innings, though he's coughed up just five runs (four earned) while striking out 17 batters in 14.2 frames across his last three starts.

Hancock (hand) is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Reds, Tim Booth of The Seattle Times reports.

Hancock exited his final start before the All-Star break Sunday after getting hit on the hand by a comebacker. X-rays came back negative after the game, and now that he's had extra time to recover thanks to the midseason break and a move to the back of the rotation, he'll be able to make his next start without having to spend time on the IL. The 27-year-old righty currently boasts a 3.17 ERA and 1.01 WHIP for the season and has conceded just one run in his last 14.1 innings.

Bradish agreed to terms on a five-year, $90 million contract extension with the Orioles on Saturday.

Bradish's new deal will buy out his two remaining years of arbitration as well as three years of free agency, ensuring the Orioles retain their ace through the 2031 campaign. The 29-year-old righty missed significant time in 2024 and '25 due to Tommy John surgery but has been fully healthy this year and sports a 3.61 ERA and 1.35 WHIP alongside a 106:50 K:BB through 107.1 innings.

The Diamondbacks selected Carrillo to the 40-man roster Saturday.

Carrillo will claim a spot on the 40-man roster after posting a 19:3 K:BB in 12.1 shutout innings across his last 10 appearances at Triple-A Reno. He'll remain at Reno for the time being, but he could be called up for his MLB debut later this year if he continues to pitch well in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League.

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said that Nelson (elbow) will begin a throwing program Saturday or Sunday, Alex D'Agostino of SI.com reports.

Lovullo said Saturday that Nelson has shown considerable improvement since landing on the injured list June 19 due to a strained right elbow. The skipper still believes that the right-hander will be able to pitch again for the big club this season, though it's unclear whether Nelson will return from the IL as a starter or reliever. A better idea of his return timeline and expected role should emerge as he clears hurdles in his throwing program.

Henderson (forearm) is listed as the Brewers' probable starter for Wednesday's game against the Mets in Milwaukee, Hunter Baumgardt of Fox Sports 920 Milwaukee reports.

Henderson relayed after Friday's win over the Marlins that he contended with forearm cramps in the Brewers' first game of the second half, but the issue apparently isn't considered serious enough to prevent him from making his next turn through the rotation on four days' rest. The right-hander limited Miami to just one run on three hits and no walks over five innings Friday, whittling his ERA and WHIP down to 2.97 and 0.93, respectively, over seven starts with the big club this season.

Montgomery (elbow) will start Saturday for Triple-A Round Rock as he continues his rehab assignment, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Montgomery will make his sixth overall rehab start, his fourth with Round Rock. Through his first five starts, the 33-year-old has posted a remarkable 2.25 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 11:0 K:BB through 12 innings. This upcoming start will possibly be the southpaw's final rehab appearance after he underwent UCL reconstruction surgery in March of 2025.

Gasser is slated to start Sunday's game against the Marlins in Milwaukee.

After turning in a 2.52 ERA and 0.88 WHIP over a four-start stretch with the big club, Gasser was recalled from Triple-A Nashville last weekend ahead of the Brewers' final game before the All-Star break. The 27-year-old lefty was unable to keep the momentum going, as he was lit up by the Pirates for seven earned runs on eight hits and no walks across three innings. Despite the rough performance to finish out the second half, Gasser will maintain his spot in the rotation coming out of the All-Star break while Milwaukee awaits the return of Kyle Harrison (elbow) from the injured list.

Woodruff announced Saturday that he will undergo season-ending capsule repair surgery on his right shoulder, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Woodruff previously underwent the same procedure in October 2023 and ended up missing the entire 2024 campaign. He said he intends to pitch again once he's healthy, but after needing approximately 20 months to make a full recovery from the surgery the first time around, he's unlikely to be ready to return to action until 2028. The 33-year-old will close the book on the 2026 season with a 2.98 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 47:10 K:BB through 45.1 innings across nine starts.

Texas optioned Teodo to Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday.

After making just one appearance for the Rangers, Teodo's big-league stint ends. The 25-year-old went 1.2 innings, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out one Friday against Atlanta. Texas recalled Jose Corniell to take Teodo's spot on the active roster.
