Quantrill pitched six scoreless innings, allowing three hits and five walks while striking out four batters in Colorado's 2-1 extra-inning win in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader with the Mariners. He did not factor into the decision.

Quantrill didn't have his best command Sunday, walking a season-high five batters while throwing 62 of his 108 total pitches for strikes. In the end though, he was able to notch his first scoreless outing of the year while extending his quality start streak to three outings in a row. After a slow start to the 2024 campaign, Quantrill now owns a 4.33 ERA and 1.48 WHIP with 15 strikeouts over 27 innings in five starts this season. The 29-year-old's next projected start is expected to be Saturday at home versus the Astros.

Stripling (0-5) took the loss Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk across five innings against the Athletics. He struck out four.

Although Stripling yielded three or fewer runs for the third time in his last four starts, the A's weren't able to provide enough run support to put Stripling in contention for the win. The veteran righty has taken the loss in all five of his appearances this season -- a league-leading total -- and owns a 5.34 ERA and 1.57 WHIP across 28.2 innings. Stripling is tentatively scheduled for a start against the Orioles on Friday.

Nola (3-1) allowed two runs on four hits and one walk over eight innings to pick up the win Sunday against the White Sox. He struck out seven.

Nola allowed a first-inning two-run homer to Eloy Jimenez but settled in thereafter, allowing just three more baserunners over the next seven innings. This season has been a steady climb for Nola, who struggled in his first start but has worked progressively deeper into each start, culminating with his eight-inning effort Sunday. One concern for Nola moving forward is that he's already allowed six home runs this year after allowing a career-high 32 last season. The veteran righty will take a 3.16 ERA and 1.09 WHIP into his next start, tentatively scheduled to take place during a weekend set in San Diego against the Padres.

Kirby pitched five scoreless innings, allowing five hits and a walk while striking out seven in Seattle's 2-1 extra-inning loss to the Rockies in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader. He did not factor into the decision.

Kirby was able to follow up his quality start Monday with another strong outing Sunday, limiting Colorado to just six baserunners while his seven punchouts were his second highest total in a start this season. After a pair of clunkers, the right-hander allowed just two earned runs over 11 innings in his last two starts, dropping his ERA from 8.16 to 5.33 over 25.1 innings this season. Kirby is tentatively set to return to the mound Saturday for a home matchup with the Diamondbacks.

Rea didn't factor in the decision Sunday in St. Louis after he allowed five hits and three walks over five scoreless innings. He struck out three.

Rea tallied just three whiffs and threw 49 of 89 pitches for strikes, but he kept the Cardinals off the board for his first scoreless start of the campaign. The 33-year-old has taken no-decision in each of his past two starts, but he's been a pivotal rotation piece early this season for Milwaukee with a 2.08 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 14:6 K:BB in 21.2 innings to go along with a 2-0 record.

Gray (2-1) struck out 12 and took the loss Sunday against Milwaukee after he allowed two runs on five hits and one walk over 6.1 innings.

The veteran right-hander limited the Brewers to just two singles and a walk through six innings, but they rallied for two runs on three singles and a stolen base in the seventh. Gray appeared to be in midseason form and generated 19 swinging strikes, but he never had a chance at the victory since the Cardinals offense was blanked. He's been electric through three starts for St. Louis with a 1.04 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 23:1 K:BB across 17.1 innings. Run support has been an issue early on, as the Cardinals have scored just six total runs in his three outings.

Perez (1-1) picked up the loss Sunday against the Red Sox, allowing four runs on six hits over four innings. He walked four and struck out seven.

The day began with a seven pitch walk which set the tone for the Boston effort against Perez, who was consistently battled throughout his outing and labored through 91 pitches over four-plus innings. Perez came into the game with just seven walks and 16 strikeouts through four starts spanning 24.2 innings, but uncharacteristically walked four and struck out seven on the day, leading to the elevated pitch count. Despite allowing eight baserunners through four, Perez held the Red Sox in check by allowing just two runs. He was then pulled after allowing the first two runners to reach base in the fifth with a one-out single by Reese McGuire off reliever Ryder Ryan plating both inherited runners and saddling Perez with four earned runs allowed. Perez will look to rebound in his next start, tentatively slated to take place during next weekend's series in San Francisco against the Giants.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Buehler (elbow) will continue his rehab assignment Wednesday with Triple-A Oklahoma City, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The right-hander covered just 2.2 frames in his previous rehab outing with two runs allowed on four hits and four walks, so he'll require at least one more outing in the minors. Buehler may need to showcase improved command if Wednesday's outing is to be his last of the rehab assignment.

Montas (forearm) said after Sunday's game against the Angels that he's likely to miss his next start due to soreness and swelling, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Montas recorded just two outs before a comebacker forced him from Sunday's game, and it appears the forearm bruise will cost him at least one turn through the rotation. The right-hander avoided a fracture but may still require a trip to the injured list, depending how quickly the swelling and soreness subsides.

Woo (elbow) is making a rehab start with Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday in Las Vegas, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

The right-hander went down with elbow inflammation late in spring training but has now been cleared for game action. Woo will likely require multiple starts in the minors before joining the Mariners, so he could make his season debut in early May.
