Glasnow didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Reds, allowing four runs on four hits and five walks while striking out three over four innings.

Glasnow struggled with his command Tuesday and paid the price in the fourth inning, surrendering a two-run homer to Jake Fraley followed by a solo shot to Noelvi Marte as part of a four-run frame. The right-hander had been sharp since returning from the IL on July 9, posting a 1.00 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 23:5 K:BB over 18 innings entering Tuesday. The 31-year-old will aim to bounce back in his next scheduled outing early next week against the Cardinals.

Gray (10-5) took the loss Tuesday against the Marlins, allowing three runs on eight hits and one walk in five innings. He struck out five.

Gray continues to get hit around quite a bit, having now yielded at least eight knocks in three consecutive starts. While he's managed to amass at least five strikeouts and walk one or fewer in six straight outings, the 35-year-old veteran right-hander doesn't have a quality start since pitching a shutout in Cleveland during his June 27 appearance. Gray owns a mediocre 4.38 ERA over 121.1 innings, but his strong 1.22 WHIP and 133:20 K:BB offer some reasons for optimism. A daunting task awaits him against the Dodgers in Los Angeles early next week.

Luzardo (9-5) allowed two hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings Tuesday, striking out four and earning a win over the White Sox.

Luzardo worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the first inning and didn't face much more trouble the rest of the way. It was a much-needed bounce-back performance after he gave up a combined 10 runs in 9.2 innings over his previous two appearances. The lefty threw 62 of 90 pitches for strikes but generated just six whiffs. Luzardo turned in a terrific 2.15 ERA through 67 innings to begin the year but has since produced a 7.00 ERA over his last 11 starts. He'll carry a 4.31 ERA and 140:44 K:BB into his next matchup, which is projected to be at home against the Orioles next week.

Alcantara (6-9) earned the win Tuesday against the Cardinals, allowing three hits and three walks in five scoreless innings. He struck out four.

While Alcantara threw just 55 of his 94 pitches for strikes, he notably escaped a bases-loaded jam in the fifth inning to cap off a strong showing. Tuesday marked just the third scoreless start of the season for the right-hander, who also worked at least five frames while surrendering two runs or fewer for only the sixth time among 21 appearances in 2025. Through 109 innings, Alcantara still has an ugly 6.36 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 81:42 K:BB. The veteran righty has been a rumored trade candidate ahead of Thursday's deadline, but his next turn in Miami's rotation tentatively lines up for early next week at home versus the Astros as it stands.

Lodolo did not factor into the decision Tuesday against the Dodgers, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out 11 over 5.1 innings.

Coming off his best outing of the season, Lodolo followed it up with another impressive showing, setting a new season high with 11 strikeouts. The only blemish on the southpaw's line came via a two-run home run from Tommy Edman in the second inning, but he otherwise kept the star-studded Dodgers in check. The 26-year-old has been outstanding of late, compiling a 2.02 ERA with a stellar 53:8 K:BB across his last eight starts. Lodolo will look to maintain this dominant stretch in his next projected outing, which comes early next week against the Cubs.

Cannon (4-8) yielded six runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings Tuesday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Phillies.

All the damage against Cannon came in the first three innings, with four runs coming in the third on a pair of two-run homers by Kyle Schwarber and Brandon Marsh. Cannon did not let another baserunner reach scoring position after that ugly frame. He's been tagged with 12 runs (11 earned) in his last two outings, raising his season ERA from 4.18 to 4.77 in the process. Prior to these two starts, he was 2-0 with a 2.66 ERA in four appearances since his last loss June 2. Cannon is projected to take the mound in Seattle next week.

Bradish (elbow) made his second rehab start for Double-A Chesapeake on Tuesday, allowing one hit and no walks in 3.2 shutout innings. He struck out two.

Bradish was sharp on the mound while cruising through 3.2 frames. The 28-year-old right-hander built up to only 38 pitches Tuesday, after he fired 37 in first appearance with High-A Aberdeen last Thursday. Bradish remains a worthy stash candidate in most fantasy leagues -- he had a 2.75 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 53:15 K:BB across eight starts in 2024 -- though he's still in line to make several more rehab starts before rejoining Baltimore's rotation.

King (shoulder) could begin a minor-league rehab assignment, likely with Triple-A El Paso, this weekend, Marty Caswell of The Sporting Tribune reports.

Manager Mike Shildt said Tuesday that King felt good after tossing 40 pitches in a sim game Monday, and the next step for the right-hander appears to be a minor-league outing. King's last game action took place May 18, so he might need multiple rehab appearances before he's ready to return to San Diego's rotation. That said, King declared himself "100 percent" and pain-free following the sim game, and he approached his usual velocity while throwing his full arsenal of pitches during the session, per AJ Cassavell of MLB.com. An early-to-mid-August return for King isn't out of the question.

Povich (hip) made a rehab start for Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits and no walks in 4.2 innings. He struck out three.

While the final stat line leaves quite a bit to be desired, Povich was at least able to stretch out his pitch count to 86 on Tuesday. Provided he comes away from the outing feeling well physically, the left-hander should be just about ready to be activated from the injured list. With Trevor Rogers turning in a 1.49 ERA and 0.79 WHIP through his eight major-league starts in 2025, the Orioles could choose to option Povich to the minor leagues upon reinstating him, or perhaps put him in the bullpen depending on what they do at the trade deadline.

Morton (7-8) picked up the win in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Blue Jays, giving up three runs on eight hits and three walks over six innings in a 16-4 rout. He struck out two.

The 41-year-old righty didn't have his best stuff, managing just eight swinging strikes among his 100 pitches (64 total strikes), but Morton was able to produce his third quality start in his last four outings, and sixth of the season. He's allowed more than three runs only once in his last eight trips to the mound, posting a 3.97 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 44:17 K:BB over 45.1 innings during that stretch. Morton lines up to make his next start on the road early next week in Philadelphia.
