Ryan Bliss SS | SEA
Mariners' Ryan Bliss: Losing out to Dylan Moore
Bliss is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.
After a recent stretch of nine consecutive starts at second base, Bliss appears to have lost hold of an everyday role following Dylan Moore's recent return from the paternity list. Moore will make his second straight start at the keystone, but both he and Bliss will see their opportunities trend down once Jorge Polanco (hamstring) returns from the injured list.

Jose Caballero 2B | NYY
Rays' Jose Caballero: Scratched with tight calf
Caballero was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta with left calf tightness, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports.
Amed Rosario was a late addition to the lineup as a replacement for Caballero and will hit ninth and start at shortstop. Caballero has served as the Rays' primary shortstop for most of the season, but he had moved into more of a utility infield role of late following Taylor Walls' return from the injured list June 7.

Paul DeJong SS | NYY
White Sox's Paul DeJong: Homer, two hits in win
DeJong went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's win over the Diamondbacks.
DeJong put the White Sox ahead with a leadoff home run in the top of the fourth and added a single in the following frame, giving him his second straight multi-hit game. The shortstop is now up to 14 home runs on the campaign, with six of them coming this month and four coming over his last eight games. DeJong has also recorded multiple hits in six of his last nine contests.

Jose Caballero 2B | NYY
Rays' Jose Caballero: Returning to lineup
Caballero (illness) is in the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta.
After leaving Friday's game due to illness and sitting Saturday, Caballero will return to face rookie right-hander Hurston Waldrep. Taylor Walls has eaten into Caballero's time at shortstop since returning from the injured list, but Caballero is still seeing fairly regular time around the infield for Tampa Bay.

Bo Bichette 3B | NYM
Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Remains out of lineup Sunday
Bichette (calf) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.
He was able to play through it for a few days, but this is now a second straight absence for Bichette due to right calf soreness. It's uncertain whether he's available off the bench. Isiah Kiner-Falefa will draw a start at shortstop with Ernie Clement at third base.

Bobby Witt SS | KC
Royals' Bobby Witt: Another multi-hit performance
Witt went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's win over the Dodgers.
Witt went hitless in his first three at-bats before driving home Garrett Hampson with a single in the seventh. The star shortstop would then go on to swipe his 20th bag of the season while also recording another single in the ninth, giving him his fourth multi-hit performance in his last five contests. Witt is now batting .375 in June with two homers, nine RBI, four stolen bases and eight runs scored. He also leads the majors with 59 runs scored.

David Hamilton SS | MIL
Red Sox's David Hamilton: Sitting versus southpaw
Hamilton is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's matchup with the Yankees, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
Hamilton will get a breather as Boston squares off against southpaw Carlos Rodon. The 26-year-old Hamilton saw his five-game hit streak come to an end Friday, but he's still batting .308 with two home runs, five RBI, six runs scored and five stolen bases over his last nine games. Ceddanne Rafaela will draw the start at shortstop and bat ninth against New York.

Rays' Jose Caballero: Absent from lineup
Caballero (illness) is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus Atlanta.
Caballero was removed from Friday's series opener due to an illness and he'll remain on the bench to start Saturday's contest. Brandon Lowe will draw the start at second base and bat second against Atlanta.

Bo Bichette 3B | NYM
Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Dealing with calf issue
Bichette is absent from Saturday's lineup against the Guardians as a result of right calf soreness, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Bichette has been playing through the calf issue for a few games, so the team decided to give him a day off Saturday. Manager John Schneider said the team will keep an eye on how the shortstop is feeling ahead of Sunday's series finale with Cleveland before making a decision on when he'll be back in the lineup.

Dylan Moore LF | PHI
Mariners' Dylan Moore: Records 10th steal Friday
Moore went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in a win over the Rangers on Friday.
One night after striking out four times in his return from paternity leave, Moore made contact in all four plate appearances and followed his one hit with his 10th steal of the season. The veteran's swipe locked in his fifth double-digit tally in that category across six big-league seasons, but the knock was only his fifth across 38 plate appearances in June.
