  • Tim Anderson 2B | LAA

White Sox's Tim Anderson: Records three hits, steals base

Anderson went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Royals.

Anderson made his presence felt at the top of the White Sox's lineup once again. He delivered a complete effort, stealing his seventh base of the campaign and posting a multi-hit game for the sixth time during his ongoing 11-game hitting streak. The star shortstop is hitting .382 during that 11-game stretch.

  • Willy Adames SS | SF

Rays' Willy Adames: On base thrice in win

Adames went 1-for-3 with a two-run double, two walks and two runs in a win over the Mets on Saturday.

It was an extremely rare taste of offensive success for Adames, who's slashing just .187/.237/.341 even when factoring in Saturday's productive day. The 25-year-old has shown some signs of life at the plate over the last 10 games by hitting .242 with two doubles, two home runs, six RBI and six runs during that span, but he's also struck out at a mammoth 48.6 percent clip in the sample.

  • David Fletcher 2B | ATL

Angels' David Fletcher: Nursing groin injury

Fletcher will not be in the lineup Sunday as a result of a groin injury, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

It's the same groin issue that Fletcher came down with in Houston earlier this week. He has been trying to play through it, but Fletcher is 0-for-his-last-17. Jose Rojas will lead off in the finale in Boston, followed in the order by Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani.

  • Carlos Correa SS | HOU

Astros' Carlos Correa: Strikes homer in win

Correa went 2-for-3 with a walk, a two-run home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 6-5 win over Texas.

Correa knocked an opposite-field blast to cap a four-run first inning and is coming back from a slump that began when the calendar flipped to May. The slugging shortstop is 6-for-13 with two RBI and seven runs scored and has reached base safely 11 times over the last four games. He and Kyle Tucker, who bats seventh behind Correa, have authored turnarounds this month, making the order deeper.

  • Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: Clubs three-run homer

Bogaerts went 2-for-2 with a three-run home run, a double, a walk and an additional run scored during Saturday's 9-0 win over the Angels.

The 28-year-old was in a 1-for-12 slump before busting out with a three-run shot Thursday, and he added another three-run blast during Saturday's contest. Bogaerts is playing like the best shortstop in the league with a .354/.414/.626 slash line, nine home runs, 13 doubles, 26 RBI and 24 runs through 39 games in 20201.

  • Joey Wendle 2B | ATL

Rays' Joey Wendle: Records four hits

Wendle went 4-for-5 with three doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 12-5 win over the Mets.

The cleanup hitter was a nightmare for the Mets throughout Saturday's contest, playing a considerable role in the Rays' 12-run outburst. Wendle's average had fallen to .267 after a rough stretch at the plate, but is now back up to .289 on the season. The 31-year-old has hit three homers in 2021, but power isn't his forte. Rather, multi-hit performances like Saturday are what give Wendle his legitimate fantasy value.

  • David Fletcher 2B | ATL

Angels' David Fletcher: Shifts down in order

Fletcher is starting at second base and hitting ninth Saturday against the Red Sox.

Fletcher's shift down in the order is notable, as he had hit exclusively atop the order to this point in the season. He's struggled to a.256/.278/.282 line through 164 plate appearances this season, and Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register recently reported that Fletcher has been playing through a hip injury for the past few days.

  • Carlos Correa SS | HOU

Astros' Carlos Correa: Scores three times in win

Correa went 1-for-2 with three walks and three runs scored in Friday's 10-4 win over Texas.

For the second time in the last three games, Correa reached base safely four times. That time on the basepaths enabled him to score five runs, giving him 23 in 37 games. The shortstop appears to be seeing the ball better after stumbling to begin the month of May. Over his last four games, Correa has reached base nine times (five walks) in 18 plate appearances.

  • Bo Bichette 3B | NYM

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Swipes bag in loss

Bichette went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Friday's 5-1 loss to Philadelphia.

Bichette reached on an error in the first inning and stole second, but he was left stranded. The shortstop is slashing .272/.319/.483 with eight home runs, seven stolen bases, 23 RBI and 31 runs scored across 163 plate appearances. He remains near the top of Toronto's order, which should continue to be a fruitful position for the 23-year-old.

  • Joey Wendle 2B | ATL

Rays' Joey Wendle: Not starting against lefty

Wendle is out of the lineup Friday against the Mets, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Wendle will take a seat with southpaw David Peterson starting Friday for the Mets. Kevin Padlo will start at the hot corner in the series opener for Tampa Bay.
