David Fletcher 2B | ATL
Angels' David Fletcher: Plates two runs
Fletcher went 1-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a walk during Saturday's 4-1 win over the Athletics.
Fletcher made the most of the only hit he notched Saturday, delivering a two-run double that scored Max Stassi and Andrelton Simmons. Fletcher has reached base safely in his first two games as the Angels' leadoff hitter in 2020.

Carlos Correa SS | HOU
Astros' Carlos Correa: Knocks in run
Correa went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 7-2 win over Seattle.
Correa, who has batted sixth in the first two games of 2020, opened the season with hits and RBI in both games. He's had three straight seasons impacted by injuries.

J.P. Crawford SS | SEA
Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Three hits in loss
Crawford went 3-for-4 with a pair of triples and scored a run in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Astros.
Crawford showed off his speed with the pair of triples, and he was able to score in the fifth inning after a Mallex Smith groundout. The 25-year-old Crawford had four triples and five stolen bases in 93 games last season. It appears Crawford will be the primary shortstop for the Mariners this season, but Dee Gordon could earn some time there as well.

Aledmys Diaz 1B | HOU
Astros' Aledmys Diaz: Groin strain moderately serious
Diaz said Saturday that his groin strain is between Grade 1 and Grade 2, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.
Diaz's left Friday's game against the Mariners with the injury and landed on the injured list Saturday. It's not exactly clear when he's expected to return, but it sounds as though he could miss a few weeks, which would represent a significant portion of the shortened season. With Yordan Alvarez (undisclosed) still weeks away from game action, the Astros will have to figure out what to do at designated hitter against lefties, which could involve some combination of Kyle Tucker, Abraham Toro or Taylor Jones.

Ehire Adrianza 3B | LAA
Twins' Ehire Adrianza: Gets start at second base
Adrianza is in Saturday's starting lineup against the White Sox playing second base and batting ninth.
Adrianza will start against left-hander Dallas Keuchel with Luis Arraez moving to the bench. Adrianza will reprise his role as a utility player but could get regular starts at second base when the Twins face a lefty.

Willy Adames SS | SF
Rays' Willy Adames: Opens season with two-hit effort
Adames went 2-for-3 with an RBI single and a walk in a loss to the Blue Jays on Friday.
Adames' eighth-inning single brought the Rays to within two runs before the comeback stalled. The 24-year-old shortstop will look to build on a 2019 season that saw him take a step back in both batting average and on-base percentage but that also featured new career highs in home runs (20) and RBI (52).

Aledmys Diaz 1B | HOU
Astros' Aledmys Diaz: Lands on injured list
Diaz was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a right groin strain, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Diaz exited Friday's game after suffering a groin injury and received an examination later in the night. The issue is serious enough to land him on the 10-day injured list, although it's unclear exactly how much time he'll miss. Taylor Jones was called up in a corresponding move.

Xander Bogaerts SS | SD
Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: Not starting Saturday
Bogaerts is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Orioles.
After battling a hamstring injury at the end of camp, Bogaerts was in the starting nine for Opening Day on Friday. However, he'll get a day off in Saturday's day game after Friday's night game. Tzu-Wei Lin will start at second base, batting ninth.

Aledmys Diaz 1B | HOU
Astros' Aledmys Diaz: Injury clarified
Diaz's injury suffered during Friday's win over the Mariners was to his right groin, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The injury was originally considered a leg strain, so this provides clarity for fantasy players. Diaz, who started the game as the designated hitter in place of the injured Yordan Alvarez (undisclosed), was replaced by Abraham Toro.

Tim Anderson 2B | LAA
White Sox's Tim Anderson: Picks up from last year
Anderson batted leadoff and went 2-for-5 with two runs scored in Friday's 10-5 loss to the Twins.
Anderson, who won the American League batting title in 2019, was back at it to start 2020. He's expected to remain up in the order, although there is a chance manager Rick Renteria eventually moves Luis Robert, a leadoff hitter in the minors, atop the order once the rookie acclimates to MLB pitching.
