Carlos Correa SS | HOU
Astros' Carlos Correa: Dropped in order
Correa went 1-for-5 with a double in Saturday's win over Boston.
Correa's second-inning double started a rally that erased Boston's early 1-0 lead. It was just his second extra-base hit since he was activated from the disabled list in mid-August. His weak production led to him being dropped to fifth in the batting order Saturday, the first time this season he's batted lower than fourth. The shortstop admitted to lingering soreness in his back, which has affected his swing and is a contributing factor to his .167 average (15-for-90) average over his last 25 games.

Adalberto Mondesi SS | BOS
Royals' Adalberto Mondesi: Swipes two bags against Twins
Mondesi went 2-or-5 with a double, two runs scored, an RBI and two stolen bases in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Twins.
The 23-year-old now has 20 steals in only 54 games for the Royals this season, giving him tremendous fantasy value to go along with a .270/.297/.443 slash line. Mondesi's second-half speed display should make him a very intriguing target in 2019 drafts.

Xander Bogaerts SS | SD
Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: Homers in second straight game
Bogaerts went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Saturday's loss to the Astros.
Bogaerts put the Red Sox up 1-0 with a run-scoring single in the first inning before adding a solo shot in the fifth inning. The shortstop has now homered in back-to-back games and has 21 long balls on the season, tying his career-best mark set in 2016 in 36 fewer games.

Carlos Correa SS | HOU
Astros' Carlos Correa: Back issue lingering
Correa indicated prior to Saturday's game against Boston that the back injury that cost him six weeks earlier this season is still bothering him, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Correa said, "sometimes waking up with my back tight again, sometimes feeling fine. It's just been hard to get in a rhythm." The 24-year-old seems frustrated but avoided pinning his struggles -- he's slashing .165/.250/.212 since being activated Aug. 10 -- on the lingering injury. It appears as though Correa plans to continue playing through the issue, but it certainly looks to be a situation worth monitoring over the final weeks of the regular season.

Ehire Adrianza 3B | LAA
Twins' Ehire Adrianza: Drives in three
Adrianza went 3-for-4 with three RBI in the Twins' 10-6 win over the Royals on Friday.
Adrianza turned in a productive day at the dish while drawing his third straight start at third base in place of the injured Miguel Sano (lower leg). The Twins have cleared Sano of any structural damage to his leg, but it's uncertain when he'll be ready to return to the lineup. Adrianza should see regular at-bats until Sano is cleared to play again, but the 25-year-old's fantasy utility is weighted down by his lack of consistent impact in the power and speed departments.

Xander Bogaerts SS | SD
Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: Launches 20th homer
Bogaerts went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Astros.
It was the shortstop's 20th home run of the year, but his first since a two-homer game Aug. 22. The RBI was his 90th, establishing a new career benchmark. Bogaerts now sports a .281/.353/.515 slash line on the season, and he's one HR shy of the career high he set in 2016.

Francisco Lindor SS | NYM
Indians' Francisco Lindor: Drives in four
Lindor went 4-for-5 with two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored Thursday against the Blue Jays.
Lindor took Sam Gaviglio deep twice, bringing his total on the season to 33. After failing to homer in 22 consecutive games, Lindor now has four home runs in his past four games. While he has already set career-best marks in runs scored (117) and stolen bases (22), he is also likely to set new benchmarks in home runs, RBI and slugging percentage before the season comes to a close.

Dee Strange-Gordon SS | WAS
Mariners' Dee Gordon: Pair of hits out of bottom of order
Gordon went 2-for-4 with a double in a win over the Orioles in Wednesday.
Gordon had opened September with an 0-for-10 tally across his first three games, a modest slump he snapped out of Wednesday with his third multi-hit effort over the last six contests. The veteran's on-base percentage (.293) leaves plenty to be desired and is largely responsible for his banishment to the bottom of the order, but his 24 extra-base hits (17 doubles, five triples, two home runs) and 30 stolen bases certainly afford him a degree of fantasy utility.

Aledmys Diaz 1B | HOU
Blue Jays' Aledmys Diaz: Bashes three-run homer
Diaz went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and an additional run scored in Wednesday's win over the Rays.
Diaz helped chase Tyler Glasnow in the first inning with his three-run homer, which put the Blue Jays up 6-0 in what was a seven-run inning. The 28-year-old also added a double and scored in the sixth inning. He's now hit safely in three straight games and is slashing .254/.291/.448 with 17 homers across 109 games this season.

Carlos Correa SS | HOU
Astros' Carlos Correa: Not in Wednesday's lineup
Correa is out of the lineup against Minnesota on Wednesday.
Correa will receive a standard day off for the first time since returning from the DL on Aug. 10. Since that date, he's hit just .171/.260/.220 with one home run, 12 RBI and 20 strikeouts in 23 games. Alex Bregman will start at shortstop in his absence. Look for Correa to rejoin the lineup Friday in Boston.
