  • Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: Returns to lineup

Bogaerts (finger) is back in the lineup Sunday against the Mariners, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Bogaerts sprained his left index finger while sliding into second base Friday and was held out Saturday as a result, but the injury will end up costing him just the lone start. The 25-year-old is batting .275/.337/.487 with four home runs and two stolen bases this month and has been a top-12 player at his position to date this season despite missing a couple weeks in April.

  • Carlos Correa SS | HOU

Astros' Carlos Correa: Walks off with win

Correa went 1-for-5 with two RBI in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Royals in extra innings.

Correa delivered a run-producing single in the bottom of the 12th, giving the Astros a walkoff win and preventing a two-game losing streak against the worst team in baseball. He's been productive since returning from a side injury, knocking three home runs and driving in 10 over the last 11 games to take the team lead with 49 RBI.

  • Indians' Francisco Lindor: Homers in second consectuve game

Lindor went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored Saturday against the Tigers.

Lindor led off the fifth inning with his 18th home run of the season. It was his second home run in as many games and his fifth multi-hit performance in his past 10 starts. He is building off his impressive 2017 season, and a 30/20 campaign is well within reach.

  • Willy Adames SS | SF

Rays' Willy Adames: Records second career homer

Adames went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBI against the Yankees on Saturday.

Adames took a Sonny Gray offering out to the opposite field in the seventh inning for his second career home run. He has experienced mixed results in his first 52 at-bats at the major- league level, as he currently has a 41.1 percent strikeout rate but also has three multi-hit games.

  • Tim Anderson 2B | LAA

White Sox's Tim Anderson: Homers, steals base in loss

Anderson went 2-for-4 with a home run, a steal, two runs and three RBI in Saturday's loss to Oakland.

The homer, a three-run shot off Daniel Mengden in the first inning, was Anderson's 13th of the season, while the steal was his 15th of the year. He's on pace for 28 homers and 32 steals, giving him a shot at a 30-30 season. Production in those categories has been enough to make Anderson a fairly valuable fantasy shortstop despite a relatively low .239 batting average.

  • Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: Not starting Saturday

Bogaerts (finger) is not starting Saturday against the Mariners, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Bogaerts left Friday's game after spraining his left index finger while sliding into second base. He's considered day-to-day. Tzu-Wei Lin will start at shortstop in his place Saturday.

  • Mariners' Dee Gordon: Extends hitting streak in defeat

Gordon went 2-for-4 with two runs and a walk in a loss to the Red Sox on Friday.

Gordon has now hit safely in 10 straight games, a stretch that's boosted his average 19 points to .294. The veteran has five multi-hit efforts over that span, although he's logged just one extra-base hit, a double on June 19. Nevertheless, Gordon is serving as the disruptive presence at the top of the order the Mariners hoped for when they acquired him, and he's essentially made a seamless transition back to his old second-base role in the wake of Robinson Cano's hand injury and 80-game suspension.

  • Willy Adames SS | SF

Rays' Willy Adames: Multi-hit game Friday

Adames went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in a win over the Yankees on Friday.

Adames opened the scoring on the night for the Rays with his third-inning bloop single on his way to just his second multi-hit game of the season. The rookie has been designated as the everyday shortstop moving forward, which should give him plenty of time to gain seasoning against big-league arms. Adames is hitting just. 222 this month.

  • Ehire Adrianza 3B | LAA

Twins' Ehire Adrianza: Day off Saturday

Adrianza is out of the lineup against the Rangers on Saturday, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Adrianza will receive a breather after starting the past 12 games while Taylor Motter draws the assignment at shortstop in his stead. Over his last four games, Adrianza is 2-for-14 with eight strikeouts.

  • Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: Unlikely to play Saturday

Bogaerts (finger) is unlikely to play Saturday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Bogaerts suffered a sprained finger while sliding into second base Friday. He was replaced in Friday's game by Eduardo Nunez, but Brock Holt is expected to start in his place Saturday.
