Winn went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and two total runs scored in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Orioles.

Winn's seventh-inning solo shot ended up being the difference in the game. The shortstop is on a roll, having hit safely in his last 11 contests. During that span, he's gone 15-for-41 (.366) with two homers, seven RBI and two stolen bases. He's up to a .295/.348/.432 slash line over 157 plate appearances this season, and he's now hit leadoff against the last two southpaws the Cardinals have faced.

Luciano is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Pirates.

Luciano has taken the reins at shortstop since Nick Ahmed (wrist) landed on the 10-day injured list May 10, with the 22-year-old having started each of the last five games while going 6-for-17 with two doubles and three doubles. He'll likely still continue to see the bulk of the reps at shortstop sans Ahmed, but Luciano will give way to Brett Wisely in the series finale.

Sosa went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run during Wednesday's 11-4 win over the Rangers.

The shortstop tagged Jonathan Hernandez for a round-tripper in the fourth inning, plating Nick Castellanos and Brandon Marsh. The long ball was Sosa's second of the campaign and his first in 51 at-bats, dating back to April 7. Since Trea Turner (hamstring) was placed on the injured list May 4, Sosa is 11-for-37 (.297) with 12 runs and nine RBI.

Kim is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.

Though double-play partner Xander Bogaerts will be in store for a long-term absence after he was diagnosed Wednesday with a fractured shoulder, Kim's absence from the lineup appears to be little more than a maintenance day. Tyler Wade will cover shortstop in Kim's stead.

Brujan is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

After a stretch of 16 consecutive starts, Brujan is on the bench for the second day in a row and appears set to operate as a utility man moving forward. His most recent nine starts came at shortstop, but Tim Anderson returned from the injured list Tuesday and has reclaimed everyday duties at the position. Meanwhile, Brujan looks to have lost out on playing time at second base to Otto Lopez, who has produced an .886 OPS thus far in May while chipping in two home runs and two stolen bases.

Luciano will start at shortstop and bat seventh in Wednesday's game against the Pirates, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Luciano will pick up his fifth straight start after going 6-for-15 with two doubles, two walks, four runs and one RBI over the previous four contests. He should continue to hold down a regular role at shortstop while Nick Ahmed (wrist) is on the shelf, and Luciano may keep the job once Ahmed is healthy if he can continue to produce at the plate.

Tovar went 2-for-5 with two solo home runs in Tuesday's loss to the Athletics.

Tovar put together his first career multi-homer game with solo blasts in the fifth and seventh innings to bring his total up to seven for the season. He's been locked in at the plate for most of May, registering at least a hit in 12 of his last 13 games with six of those being multi-hit efforts. Tovar has entrenched himself in the No. 2 spot in the batting order against righties and has seen himself hitting leadoff against lefties. He's now second on the team with 53 hits and tied for second with 21 RBI. For the year, the 22-year-old is slashing .279/.313/.468 with 21 extra-base hits, 22 runs scored and an 8:60 BB:K in 204 plate appearances.

Arcia went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Cubs.

Arcia opened the scoring with his second-inning blast off Chicago starter Javier Assad. This was Arcia's first multi-hit effort since May 8 -- he's gone 9-for-44 (.205) with three homers, three doubles and five RBI over his last 12 contests. The shortstop is slashing .247/.273/.416 with five homers, 17 RBI, 19 runs scored, 13 doubles and no stolen bases over 176 plate appearances in a starting role this season.

Swanson (knee) went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-3, extra-inning win over Atlanta.

Swanson was activated from the 10-day injured list Monday night and he made his return to the lineup Tuesday after missing two weeks. The shortstop hit the ground running against his former team, though he's been off to a slow start overall with just a .218 batting average across 38 games. Swanson should still see regular playing time moving forward despite his struggles, and he's talented enough to heat up in a hurry.

Turner (hamstring) hit on the field and ran at 80 percent effort level Tuesday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Turner has ramped up his workouts over the last week and has not reported any soreness in his left hamstring. The Phillies have been encouraged by Turner's progress, but they insist he won't be rushed and have not offered an amendment of the shortstop's initial six-week timetable. However, Friday will be just the three-week mark of the injury, so it sure seems as though Turner is ahead of schedule.
