  • Mets' Francisco Lindor: Trio of hits, runs, RBI

Lindor went 3-for-5 with a double, three runs and three RBI in a 13-4 win against the Athletics on Sunday.

Lindor singled and scored in the third inning, doubled home two and scored in the fourth, and singled home another run before scoring in the eighth. The 28-year-old extended his hit streak to 11 games with his fifth multi-hit performance during the stretch and is slashing a robust .316/.353/.526 with 11 extra-base hits in 23 contests this month.

  • Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Out of Sunday's lineup

Perdomo is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Perdomo started the past four games and will receive a day off after he went 5-for-17 with two RBI, two runs and a stolen base during that stretch. Sergio Alcantara will take over at shortstop and bat sixth.

  • Phillies' Johan Camargo: Jettisoned from 40-man roster

Camargo was designated for assignment by the Phillies on Sunday.

The 28-year-old was demoted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley in late July and has now been removed from Philadelphia's 40-man roster. Camargo appeared in 52 games for the Phillies this year and had a .237/.297/.316 slash line with three home runs and 15 RBI.

  • Jose Barrero SS | BAL

Reds' Jose Barrero: On bench again Sunday

Barrero is not in the lineup Sunday against the Brewers.

Barrero is 6-for-44 with 22 strikeouts in his past 12 appearances and finds himself on the bench Sunday for the third time in Cincinnati's past four games. Kyle Farmer will shift to shortstop while Spencer Steer mans the hot corner.

  • Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Runs hit streak to four

Perdomo went 1-for-3 with a stolen base and two RBI in Saturday's 5-2 win over San Francisco.

Perdomo capped off the Diamondbacks' five-run fourth inning with a two-run single, then put himself in scoring position with his ninth steal of the season. The rookie has hit in four straight contests (5-for-14) but was hitting just .164 since the All-Star break prior to the four-game run.

  • Jose Barrero SS | BAL

Reds' Jose Barrero: Retreats to bench

Barrero isn't in the lineup Saturday against Milwaukee.

Barrero went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts Friday and will be out of the lineup for the third time in the last four games. Kyle Farmer is starting at shortstop and batting third.

  • Oneil Cruz SS | PIT

    Pirates' Oneil Cruz: Sitting Saturday

Cruz will be on the bench Saturday against the Cubs.

Cruz will get to rest his legs for the second straight day, as he served as the designated hitter Friday. His recent numbers suggest he could use a rest, as he's gone 5-for-46 with 24 strikeouts over his last 12 games. In typical Cruz fashion, however, he at least managed three homers and two steals over that stretch, preserving some amount of fantasy value. Kevin Newman will start at shortstop Saturday.

  • Giants' Brandon Crawford: Goes yard Friday

Crawford went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-5 win over the Diamondbacks.

Crawford's homer was his ninth of the year and his first since Sept. 6. The shortstop has started to sit versus left-handed pitchers with some regularity, as his sharp defense hasn't been enough to overcome his poor hitting. The 35-year-old is slashing .227/.307/.348 with 48 RBI, 45 runs scored and a stolen base in 109 contests overall.

  • Oneil Cruz SS | PIT

Pirates' Oneil Cruz: Swipes eighth bag

Cruz went 0-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base Friday against the Cubs.

Cruz led off the first inning with a walk and proceeded to steal second base before coming around to score. He's hitless in his last four games, but he has worked five free passes and scored two runs in that span. Cruz has maintained an improved .237/.307/.550 line across 80 at-bats in September, also chipping in six home runs, two steals, 10 runs scored and 16 RBI.

  • Jon Berti 3B | CHC

Marlins' Jon Berti: Swipes 37th bag

Berti went 2-for-5 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 5-2 win over the Nationals.

The veteran utility player is healthy and running again, and Berti's stolen five bases on six attempts over the last nine games. The surge has extended his major-league lead in that category, giving him 37 on the season, and he stands a good chance of being the only player to reach 40 this season -- with 1961 being the last time in MLB history multiple players failed to reach that mark.
