Turner went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Thursday's win over the Phillies.

He's been spinning his wheels at the plate since coming off the DL at the end of August, slashing .243/.349/.432 in 10 games, but Turner has seven runs and three steals over that stretch to salvage some fantasy value. The 24-year-old still has time to find his groove before the Nats head into the postseason, and despite his mediocre current form, his upside is too great to bench him even in shallow fantasy formats.

Manager Dave Roberts said that Seager (elbow) will return to the lineup Friday against the Rockies, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Swelling and inflammation in Seager's elbow cost the 23-year-old more than a week's worth of starts, but he's finally feeling well enough to return to his spot in the Dodgers' infield. Seager has logged a couple pinch-hit appearances in recent days, singling in two trips to the plate. He's been a top-25 hitter in baseball as measured by wRC+ and should be deployed immediately in all formats.

While Seager has appeared as a pinch hitter in each of the previous two contests, he still hasn't been cleared to return to the field, so he'll remain on the bench for Thursday's series opener. He should be available to hit again Thursday, though his status for Friday's game remains up in the air. The stud shortstop hasn't played since Aug. 27 due to inflammation in his elbow, but he appears to be on the cusp of a return.

Rojas is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Braves, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Rojas will get the day off after starting five straight games at shortstop, going just 4-for-19 (.211) over that span. In his place, Mike Aviles will take over at shortstop, batting eighth.

Seager (elbow) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Seager -- who hasn't started a game since Aug. 27 due to inflammation in his elbow -- was able to deliver a pinch-hit single in Tuesday's contest, but he's apparently still not ready to return to the field. This will mark his 10th straight game out of the starting lineup, with Chris Taylor starting at shortstop in his stead. Consider Seager day-to-day for now, and look for him to return to the lineup sometime during the Dodgers' upcoming series against Colorado.

Seager wasn't expected to make his return until Friday, but he was apparently healthy enough to be used off the bench in a pinch. The slugging shortstop hasn't started a game since Aug. 27 while he deals with inflammation in his elbow. The Dodgers didn't announce whether Seager would be available to start Wednesday's series finale, so he should be considered day-to-day until his name officially appears on a lineup card.

Story went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Giants.

Story took southpaw Ty Blach deep in the fourth inning for his 19th long ball. Nine of those home runs have come against left-handed pitching even though the shortstop has almost three times as many plate appearances against righties. He has come back down to earth with a .225/.302/.424 line after slashing .272/.341/.567 as a rookie last year, but still holds value thanks in part to playing his home games at the league's most hitter-friendly venue.

Seager has been withheld from the starting lineup each of the past four days, but he was able to increase his throwing distance Tuesday and is now on track to return to action Friday. He should be deployed in fantasy lineups with confidence upon his return, as the Dodgers likely wouldn't rush him back into action before he's fully healthy.

Baez (thumb) is starting at shortstop and hitting sixth Tuesday against the Pirates.

He was scratched from Monday's lineup with a sore thumb, but it appears to have been a minor issue. With Addison Russell (plantar fasciitis) out at least a couple more weeks, Baez should start at shortstop every day over the next four or five series.

Crawford is starting at third base and hitting seventh in his big-league debut Tuesday against the Mets, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Crawford is a shortstop by trade, but the Phillies will deploy him at the hot corner in his first big-league start. He should see time at shortstop and third base over the final four weeks. Crawford hit .285/.385/.544 line with 13 homers in 228 at-bats since the beginning of July en route to earning this promotion. The Phillies will have some interesting roster decisions to make this offseason, but the expectation is that Crawford remains the team's shortstop of the future.
