Edman went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Phillies.

Edman notched a hit for a third straight game when he roped a double down the right-field line to plate a pair of runs and put the Cardinals up 3-1 in the second inning. The 26-year-old would end up getting on base again in the seventh with a single and came around to score on a Paul Goldschmidt double to extend his team's lead to 5-2. Edman is now slashing .277/.333/.394 with two home runs, six RBI and 12 runs scored as the Cardinals' primary leadoff hitter.

Swanson went 3-for-4 with a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 6-0 win over the Cubs.

All three hits were singles, but Swanson did improve his line with his first steal of the season. The shortstop came into this series having gone just 3-for-26 over the last eight contests, but he's feasting off Cubs pitching with five hits in the last two games.

Turner went 2-for-4 with two home runs in Tuesday's loss against the Blue Jays.

Turner launched two solo shots -- in the first and in the third inning, both off Trent Thornton -- but his contributions weren't enough to lead the Nationals to a win. The star shortstop continues to make an impact at the top of Washington's lineup, as he owns a .896 OPS through 83 plate appearances.

Fletcher went 2-for-5 with a double and a strikeout in Tuesday's 6-1 loss to Texas.

Fletcher led off the game with a double and singled in the seventh but the Angels' big bats were unable to bring him home. The middle infielder's slash line now sits at .265/.284/.570.

Crawford (quadriceps) is starting at shortstop and batting sixth Tuesday against the Rockies, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

He missed a few games with a minor quad injury. Crawford is hitting .185 with three home runs and two steals in 20 games.

Rojas (elbow) will bat second and play shortstop Tuesday against the Brewers, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Rojas left Monday's game with an elbow injury, which he appeared to suffer while turning a double play. The issue won't be serious enough for him to miss a start.

Turner (forearm) will lead off and play shortstop Tuesday against the Blue Jays.

Turner exited Sunday's game against the Mets after getting hit in the elbow by a pitch. He's good to go following Monday's off day, however, so he'll continue his streak of starting every game so far this season.

Baez (hamstring) will sit for the second straight game and the third time in four days Tuesday against Atlanta.

Baez has been battling hamstring tightness. He was reportedly available off the bench Monday but did not enter the game. Nico Hoerner will make another start at shortstop Tuesday.

Adames is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Athletics, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Now on the bench for the second time in three days, Adames may be at risk of moving into more of a part-time role in light of his rough start to the season. After an 0-for-3 showing in Monday's 2-1 loss, Adames is now sitting on a .183/.227/.338 slash line and 30.7 percent strikeout rate through 75 plate appearances. Joey Wendle will cover shortstop Tuesday and bat fifth.

Seager went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a walk in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Reds.

Seager's highlight of the night came in the seventh inning, when he crushed a hanging slider from Amir Garrett over the wall in center to tie the game at three and eventually send it into extra innings. Monday was his third consecutive multi-hit performance, a stretch that's boosted his slash line to .275/.359/.495 with four home runs, 14 runs scored and 17 RBI to go along with a 12:18 BB:K.
