Rojas was removed from Tuesday's win over the Blue Jays with abdominal soreness, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

The 31-year-old went 1-for-3 with a double and a caught stealing prior to exiting at the start of the eighth inning. Rojas should be considered day-to-day until the team further updates his status.

Ahmed went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Dodgers.

Ahmed took reliever Scott Alexander deep in the ninth inning to cut the deficit to three runs, but that was as close as it got. The 30-year-old Ahmed is slashing .242/.299/.387 with four homers, 19 RBI, 17 runs scored and two stolen bases through 36 contests. The homer Tuesday was just his fourth hit in his last 22 at-bats.

Edman went 3-for-7 with a double, a run and an RBI during Tuesday's 16-2 win over the Reds.

The 25-year-old now has multiple hits in each of the past three games and is 15-for-43 (.349 average) over his past 10 contests. Edman has a .274/.343/.379 slash line with one homer, one steal, five doubles, 12 runs and 12 RBI in 25 games this season.

Anderson went 3-for-4 with a run scored in a loss to Minnesota on Tuesday.

The White Sox couldn't muster much offense in the contest, but Anderson was up to his usual production, notching his 11th multi-hit game of the season. The 27-year-old has built upon a breakthrough 2019 campaign by upping his slash line to .345/.385/.600 this season. He has added six home runs and three stolen bases while scoring 26 runs.

Lindor went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run Tuesday against the Royals.

Lindor took Matt Harvey deep in the first inning to notch his sixth homer of the campaign. The performance extended his hitting streak to eight games, four of which have been multi-hit efforts. Overall, Lindor has put together a .270/.325/.446 line with two stolen bases, 18 runs scored and 17 RBI across 160 plate appearances.

Edman, who went 2-for-5 with a double and a run in a win over the Reds on Monday, hit .344 (11-for-32) with two doubles, three RBI, three walks, a stolen base and four runs over the final eight games of August.

The versatile 25-year-old has pulled his season line out of the ditch with his current hot streak, as he's quickly boosted his average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage by 47, 47 and 25 points, respectively, in that stretch. Edman's current .261/.337/.364 slash line is beginning to progressively approximate the impressive .304/.350/.500 figures he generated during his 2019 rookie campaign, with a reduction in strikeout rate during that eight-game sample (16.7 percent, down from 19.4 percent) helping his cause.

Adames, who went 3-for-5 with a double in a win over the Yankees on Monday, finished August with a .333/.403/.633 slash line over his final 67 plate appearances.

The hot-hitting shortstop will now look to keep up the stellar work at the plate over the last few weeks of the season. Adames has been putting plenty of good wood on the ball during the aforementioned stretch, belting seven doubles and three home runs while generating an elite 38.5 percent line-drive rate and 46.2 percent hard-contact rate. However, he's also struck out at an elevated 31.3 percent clip and benefited from an unsustainable .472 BABIP over the same period, so some September regression is possible if he doesn't begin making more consistent contact.

Story isn't in Tuesday's lineup against the Giants, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Story has had a rough stretch at the plate recently as he's gone 0-for-8 with six strikeouts over the past two games. He'll get a day off Tuesday with Garrett Hampson starting at shortstop.

Tejada was released by the Blue Jays on Tuesday, Andersen Pickard of MLBDailyDish.com reports.

Tejada was included on the Blue Jays' 60-man roster to begin the season, but no major-league opportunity presented itself. The 31-year-old veteran has mainly worked at the Triple-A level over the past several seasons and slashed .326/.404/.471 with six home runs and 42 RBI with Triple-A Syracuse in 2019.

Mondesi is not in Tuesday's lineup against Cleveland.

It's been a rough season for Mondesi, but things have been particularly bad lately. He is 2-for-33 (.061 average) with a 32.4 percent strikeout rate, one walk and zero extra-base hits over his last eight games. It's a testament to his immense upside on the basepaths that he somehow still has two steals over that stretch, but it's hard to blame the Royals for letting him clear his head for this one. Nicky Lopez will start at shortstop while Whit Merrifield starts at the keystone.
