Tejada was released by the Blue Jays on Tuesday, Andersen Pickard of MLBDailyDish.com reports.

Tejada was included on the Blue Jays' 60-man roster to begin the season, but no major-league opportunity presented itself. The 31-year-old veteran has mainly worked at the Triple-A level over the past several seasons and slashed .326/.404/.471 with six home runs and 42 RBI with Triple-A Syracuse in 2019.

Mondesi is not in Tuesday's lineup against Cleveland.

It's been a rough season for Mondesi, but things have been particularly bad lately. He is 2-for-33 (.061 average) with a 32.4 percent strikeout rate, one walk and zero extra-base hits over his last eight games. It's a testament to his immense upside on the basepaths that he somehow still has two steals over that stretch, but it's hard to blame the Royals for letting him clear his head for this one. Nicky Lopez will start at shortstop while Whit Merrifield starts at the keystone.

Turner went 4-for-5 with a solo homer and three runs scored in Monday's 8-6 loss to the Phillies.

Turner's seventh-inning solo homer gives him seven on the season. The 27-year-old shortstop has been unstoppable lately; he's riding a 16-game hitting streak with 15 hits in the last four games.

DeJong went 2-for-5 with a grand slam and a stolen base in Monday's 7-5 win over the Reds.

His fourth-inning blast with the bases loaded chased Anthony DeSclafani from the game and proved to be the decisive hit in the game after the Cards' bullpen made things interesting. DeJong has two homers and 12 RBI through 14 games, but it's his .321 batting average that's wildly exceeding expectations.

Rojas went 2-for-4 with two singles, an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 5-3 win over the Mets.

Rojas' pair of singles brought his batting average up to .349. He drove in Lewin Diaz in the sixth inning for his 12th RBI of the season and also swiped his second bag. The shortstop will take a three-game hit streak into the next series against Toronto.

Chang was optioned to Cleveland's alternate training site Monday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Chang had been on the roster since the start of the season but played very sporadically, receiving just 11 plate appearances and grabbing just two hits. Oscar Mercado was recalled in a corresponding move.

Garcia isn't in Monday's lineup against the Cardinals.

Garcia drew the start at shortstop over the past two games and went 1-for-7 with four strikeouts. He'll take a breather Monday with Freddy Galvis starting at shortstop.

Arcia isn't in the lineup Monday against the Pirates.

Arcia went hitless in four at-bats Sunday, and he'll retreat to the bench for the series finale against Pittsburgh. Luis Urias will shift to shortstop with Keston Hiura starting at second base.

Fletcher (ankle) isn't available for Monday's game against the Mariners, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Fletcher sprained his ankle early in Sunday's contest and will miss his first game of 2020 as a result of the injury. The Angels have an off day Tuesday, and manager Joe Maddon was optimistic that Fletcher would be able to return for Wednesday's contest.

Gordon, who went 2-for-3 and was caught stealing in his one attempt in an extra-innings win over the Angels on Sunday, is hitting .375 (6-for-16) over his last six games.

As can be expected with Gordon, there are no extra-base hits in that sample, but the fact he's been on base at a much better clip than any other time during the season is certainly reason for optimism. The veteran has raised his average 60 points with that surge, yet his .190/.242/.207 season line (62 plate appearances) still has monumental room for improvement.
