Bogaerts is in the midst of a modest five-game hit streak and is 8-for-22 with four runs and two stolen bases during that stretch, but he'll take a seat Sunday. Jonathan Arauz receives the start at shortstop in the series finale.

Berti (finger) was activated off the 10-day injured list Sunday.
The 30-year-old has been sidelined since Sept. 7 with the right finger issue, but he'll rejoin the Marlins ahead of Sunday's doubleheader. Berti has a .250/.354/.354 slash line with two homers and eight stolen bases in 30 games, and he should return to his super-utility role.

The 22-year-old's overall numbers are downright ugly, but Garcia has picked up a little momentum at the plate, recording seven hits in his last 21 at-bats. He will give way to Freddy Galvis at shortstop Sunday.

Anderson went 2-for-5 with two solo home runs in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Reds.
The shortstop took Trevor Bauer deep in the fifth inning before crushing a Robert Stephenson offering over the fence in the eighth. Anderson is putting the finishing touches on a monster campaign, slashing .366/.401/.611 through 41 games with 10 homers, five steals, 21 RBI and 43 runs.

Rojas went 3-for-5 with a solo home run in a 7-3 win over the Nationals on Saturday.
Rojas took Patrick Corbin deep to lead off the first inning. Hitting atop the order for just the third time this season, Rojas led the Marlins with seven total bases, and he's 5-for-13 with three extra-base hits when batting in that slot. Over his last 15 games, Rojas is slashing .360/.418/.600.

Seager is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against Colorado, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
Seager will sit for the first time since Aug. 20, even though he's hitting .324/.374/.610 in 25 games since then. Chris Taylor will take over at shortstop in his absence.

Velazquez was optioned to the Orioles' alternate training site Saturday.
Velazquez had been on the major-league roster for the entire season until Saturday, but he had an inconsistent role as he slashed .159/.274/.206 with three RBI and four stolen bases over 53 at-bats. Right-hander Evan Phillips was recalled to fill a bullpen role for the Orioles.
