Arcia is not in the lineup Saturday against the Tigers.

Arcia heads to the bench for the second time in four games, with Hernan Perez again starting at shortstop. Arcia's bat has been heating up lately as he's hitting .316 with six doubles in his last 12 games.

Wendle is on the bench for Saturday's game against Toronto.

Wendle sits after making 12 straight starts. He grabbed a hit in 11 of those contests, hitting .378 with a 1.049 OPS overall. Brandon Lowe will start at second base in his absence, with Andrew Velasquez at third.

Correa will be on the bench for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Orioles.

The Astros will use a total of 16 different players to start either or both games Saturday, with most players resting for at least one of the two matchups. Anderson will get rest of the day off after starting at shortstop and batting eighth in Game 1 of the doubleheader. Jose Rondon draws the start with Anderson on the bench.

Gordon remains on the bench Friday against Texas, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Gordon will sit for his third straight game. It's possible the second baseman is injured, though there have been no reports suggesting that's the case. Robinson Cano will remain the starter at second base.

Swanson (hand) hasn't resumed hitting but may progress to that step this weekend, and manager Brian Snitker hopes that the shortstop will be able to play in the NLDS, which begins Thursday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

It appears as though Swanson's hand is steadily improving during his rehab back in Atlanta, though this weekend will likely determine whether he'll be ready to return for the start of the postseason. The shortstop went down with a partially torn ligament in his left hand during Tuesday's game versus the Mets.

Diaz is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Rays, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports.

Diaz sits for the first time in a week after his 0-for-3 showing Wednesday ended a five-game hitting streak. Richard Urena will start at shortstop.
