Charlie Culberson will man the hot corner to replace him once more.

    The shortstop will get just his second day off in Boston's last 30 games. Brock Holt will get the start in his place.

    The Indians are resting eight of nine starters after clinching the division Saturday. Lindor will get just his third day off of the season, with Erik Gonzalez starting at shortstop.

    Correa went 1-for-5 with a stolen base in Saturday's 10-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

    Correa, the Astros' primary cleanup hitter since 2017, was dropped in the batting order for the second time in a week. The shortstop hit out of the six hole Saturday as he endures a slump that's reaching its second month. Correa's batting .170 (19-for-112) with just three extra-base hits over the last 31 games. Yulieski Gurriel and Marwin Gonzalez have been promoted ahead of Correa.

    Rockies' Trevor Story: Swipes 26th base

    Story went 1-for-4 with a stolen base against the Giants on Saturday.

    Story reached base only once but still managed to steal his 26th base of the season. While his home-run barrage has continued -- he has 33 for the season -- the stolen base was Story's first since Sept. 4. Still, he's closing in on a 30-30 season and is having a career-best season in nearly all hitting statistics.
