DeJong went 3-for-4 with a double in a shutout loss to the Twins on Monday.

DeJong had the only multi-hit night for the Cardinals on a night when they reached safely on just seven occasions overall. The talented shortstop snapped the five-game slump he'd been mired in to open May, one that had seen him go 0-for-14 with four strikeouts. DeJong's average took a 34-point dive to .241 during that stretch, but Monday's production, which included his first extra-base hit since April 26, could potentially be the springboard for a resurgence at the plate.

Baez exited Monday's game against the the Marlins due to right groin tightness, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.

Baez went 1-for-4 at the plate with a home run, three RBI and a run scored prior to being replaced by Tommy La Stella in the eighth inning. It's unclear if the injury is overly serious, but he'll be reevaluated Tuesday to determine his status moving forward. If he's forced to miss significant time, expect Ben Zobrist, Ian Happ and La Stella to contribute in his stead.

Baez went 2-for-6 with a solo home run in Sunday's 14-inning loss to the Cardinals.

It looked like Baez was going to be the hero in this one, as his ninth home run of the season in the top of the 14th put Chicago up 3-2. However, former Cub Dexter Fowler blasted a walkoff, two-run shot in the bottom of the inning. Baez has home runs in two straight games and has been one of the most productive offensive players in the league in the early going.

Ahmed grounded out and struck out swinging twice across three at-bats Sunday in the Diamondbacks' 3-1 win over the Astros.

Ahmed has now gone 0-for-18 over his past five games, an untimely development for fantasy owners that may have picked up the shortstop following a 12-for-31 stretch that included six extra-base hits in an eight-game span. The crests and troughs in Ahmed's production this season have made him a frustrating player to roster, but his fantasy ceiling is still unquestionably higher than in past seasons due to his increased willingness to sell out for power. He has already smashed five home runs and seven doubles in 2018, leaving him one shy of matching the totals he posted in both categories a season ago.

Swanson (wrist) won't travel with the Braves during the team's seven-game, three-city road trip that runs Tuesday through May 14, David O'Brien of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Swanson is eligible to come off the 10-day disabled list ahead of Sunday's series finale in Miami, but he'll be sidelined for more than the minimum amount of time with the Braves having yet to release a timetable for his return. While his teammates are on the road this week, Swanson will remain in Atlanta to receive further treatment for his inflamed left wrist. Swanson said Sunday that he hasn't required an injection and believes he'll be able to address the injury solely through rest and regular checkups with the Atlanta training staff. The Braves should have a better idea regarding a return date for Swanson once he's able to resume baseball activities.

Correa went 1-for-3 with a double Sunday against Arizona.

Correa recorded double No. 12 of the season Sunday and continues to put together solid production at the plate. He's batting .299 with five home runs and 25 RBI through his first 35 games. Correa should continue to put up decent power numbers as the season progresses.

X-rays on the left ankle of DIaz -- who exited Sunday's game in the fifth inning -- came back negative, but the shortstop will be sent for an MRI.

The Blue Jays are referring to the injury as a sprain for now but have decided to send Diaz for a precautionary MRI to learn more about the injury. With a team day off Monday, consider Diaz day-to-day heading into Tuesday's series opener against Seattle.

Diaz exited Sunday's game against the Rays in the top of the fifth inning with an apparent left ankle injury, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Diaz sustained the injury while running out an RBI infield single, with the shortstop seemingly turning his ankle upon touching the outside of the bag and immediately falling to the infield in pain. Per Steve Carney of Sports Radio 620 WDAE, Diaz was carted off the field, suggesting more than a day-to-day injury may be in play. The Blue Jays will presumably evaluate Diaz in the locker room and issue an update on his condition after the game.

Rojas is out of the lineup Sunday against the Reds.

Rojas has been Miami's starting shortstop for each of the last 10 games, and is 7-for-36 (.194) over that span. He's in the lineup more for his defense than his bat, owning just a .654 OPS this season (which wouldn't even be a career low). He'll head to the bench Sunday, however, giving way to Yadiel Rivera.

Adrianza will start at shortstop and bat eighth Sunday against the White Sox, Dan Hayes of The Athletic Minnesota reports.

Miguel Sano's (hamstring) placement on the disabled list earlier this month has opened the door for Adrianza to pick up added work at shortstop with Eduardo Escobar shifting over to third base. Sunday will mark Adrianza's third consecutive start, an indication he's moved ahead of Gregorio Petit on the depth chart. As a glove-first player who occupies a low spot in the batting order, Adrianza will likely struggle to provide much fantasy utility even in AL-only formats while he receives regular action.
