Gordon is receiving the day off for Sunday's series finale against the Rangers in part due to a sore foot, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

The injury is considered minor and isn't expected to impact Gordon's availability for the upcoming week, so fantasy owners shouldn't be too concerned about the speedster's one-game absence. In fact, manager Scott Servais suggested Gordon will be in uniform and could enter Sunday's contest off the bench, which adds credence to the notion that the foot injury isn't anything worrisome.

Arcia (ankle) expects to be at 100 percent health in time for Tuesday's game against the Royals, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Arcia was able to run the bases and participate in fielding drills Sunday with minimal pain, so he expects to be fully ready come Tuesday. Eric Sogard is starting at shortstop Sunday in his absence.

Gordon is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rangers, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

With the Mariners playing a day game after a night game in the series finale and a lefty (Martin Perez) on the hill for the home team, Seattle manager Scott Servais decided it was a good time to give Gordon his first breather of the season. The dynamic leadoff man generated another stellar effort out of the leadoff spot Saturday, going 3-for-5 with an RBI single, a double and a run. With Gordon on the bench, Jean Segura will ascend to the leadoff spot, while room in the outfield will open up for Ichiro Suzuki, who is slated to hit sixth.

Diaz is out of the lineup Sunday against the Yankees, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports.

Since homering in back-to-back games April 11 and 13, Diaz has fallen into a 4-for-23 rut at the plate, dropping his season line to .213/.262/.443 over 65 plate appearances. That's still a better slash line than double-play partner Devon Travis' (.149/.216/.170), but both players' starting roles in the middle infield seem to be at risk following the Friday promotion of Lourdes Gurriel from Double-A New Hampshire. Gurriel will pick up his third straight start Sunday and can play both middle-infield spots, so he'll afford manager John Gibbons an attractive alternative if neither Travis nor Diaz is able to rebound from his poor start to the season.

Sardinas will start at second base and bat ninth Sunday against the Indians, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.

Since Jonathan Schoop was shut down April 14 with a Grade 1 oblique strain, Sardinas has stepped in as the Orioles' primary second baseman. He'll pick up his fifth start at the keystone in six games, and until Schoop returns, Sardinas shouldn't face any immediate competition for the everyday role after Engelb Vielma was demoted to Triple-A Norfolk earlier this weekend. Despite his steady playing time, Sardinas will need to do much better than the .143 batting average he has supplied for the Orioles thus far before gaining traction in most fantasy settings.

Rojas is not in the lineup Sunday against the Brewers, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.

Rojas entered the Marlins' series against the Brewers hitting .299, but after going 0-for-11 over the past three days, his season average sits at a pedestrian .256. He'll head to the bench for the first time this season with Yadiel Rivera filling in at shortstop.

Arcia (ankle) is not in the lineup Sunday against the Marlins.

Arcia will now miss his second straight game after tweaking his ankle Friday against the Marlins. The Brewers haven't ruled out a trip to the disabled list for their shortstop, but with a scheduled off day Monday, the hope is that Arcia will be able to return to the lineup Tuesday in Kansas City. Eric Sogard will again draw the start at shortstop Sunday.

Wendle went 3-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored in Saturday's 10-1 win over the Twins.

He looked to be cooling down after going 3-for-22 (.136) over his prior seven games, but Wendle's bat roared back to life Saturday. The 27-year-old now has a strong .288/.377/.481 slash line on the season, but his usual spot in the batting order -- 31 of his 52 at-bats this season have come while hitting sixth or lower -- has limited his production somewhat, leaving him with one homer, five RBI and nine runs through 18 games.

DeJong went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer Saturday against the Reds.

With one out in the bottom of the second, the young shortstop deposited the second pitch he saw into the left-field stands, pushing his home run total to six. DeJong is hitting .250 on the season, but his nice power showing has his OPS up to a solid .850 mark.

Arcia (ankle) will be reassessed before the team travels to Kansas City on Tuesday to determine whether or not he'll need to head to the disabled list, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Arcia sprained his ankle while returning to first base after a single Friday and was out of the lineup Saturday. If he needs to miss more than a few games, he'll likely head to the DL, with Eric Sogard continuing to fill in at shortstop.
