Peraza went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during the Angels' 6-1 win over the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Peraza put the Angels on the board in the fifth inning with two-run long ball off Eric Lauer. It was Peraza's fifth home run of the year (tying his mark across 264 plate appearances in 2025) and his first long ball since April 16 against the Yankees. He is slashing .282/.339/.476 with five steals, 11 RBI and 11 runs scored across 113 plate appearances this season while serving as the Halos' utility man.

Adell went 3-for-4 with a double and two solo home runs during the Angels' 6-1 win over the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Adell logged a career-high 37 home runs during the 2025 season but was sitting at just four long balls heading into Sunday's contest. He cracked solo home runs off Eric Lauer in both the sixth and ninth frames, marking Adell's first multi-homer game since Aug. 19. Although he's taken a slight step back in the power department, Adell has a .314 OBP in 172 plate appearances, which is slightly higher than last season (.293 across 573 plate appearances).

Soriano (6-2) earned the win against the Blue Jays on Sunday, allowing one run on five hits and one walk while striking out seven across 7.2 innings.

Soriano yielded an RBI double to Kazuma Okamoto in the first inning, but that ended up being the only run allowed by the veteran right-hander. Following Okamoto's double, Soriano retired the next 20 batters he faced, a streak that was broken by a Myles Straw infield single in the eighth. It was the fifth quality start of the season for Soriano and his first since April 12 against the Reds. It was the bounce-back performance he needed after giving up eight earned runs over his last two starts, and he now sits at a 1.66 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 61:20 K:BB across 54.1 innings this season. Soriano's next start is tentatively slated for this weekend at home against the Dodgers.

Jax is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays in Toronto, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

After making his first 11 appearances of the season as a reliever and recording no more than six outs in any of those contests, Jax has gradually gotten more stretched out while starting in his last three outings. He built up to 59 pitches and four innings in his most recent start Thursday in Boston, and if he's able to tack on another inning to his workload Wednesday, Jax will have a shot at qualifying for a win. The Rays haven't indicated whether Jax will remain in a starting role for the long haul, though the team will have a spot in the rotation available to him while both Steven Matz (elbow) and Joe Boyle (elbow) are stuck on the injured list.

Tolle (1-2) took the loss Sunday against the Rays, allowing three runs on seven hits over five innings. He struck out four without walking a batter.

The seven hits given up by Tolle on Sunday matched his total allowed across 17.2 innings in his first three starts this season. The left-hander's ERA sits at 2.78 this year with a 0.88 WHIP and 27:6 K:BB over 22.2 innings. Tolle is currently lined up for a tough road matchup in Atlanta his next time out.

Weathers (illness) is slated to start Monday's series opener in Baltimore, Meredith Marakovits of YES Network reports.

Weathers was scratched ahead of his previously scheduled start this past Thursday against the Rangers after struggling to bounce back from an illness that surfaced earlier in the week, but the southpaw has since made a full recovery from the ailment. He was able to complete a side session without incident over the weekend and isn't expected to be operating with any restrictions Monday when he takes the hill for his eighth start of the season.

Baker earned the save in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Red Sox, working around a hit and a walk while striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning.

Baker found himself in trouble Sunday after giving up a double and a walk to open the ninth, but he managed to get through the inning unscathed, extending his scoreless streak to 7.1 innings while converting his 10th save this season. Baker's ERA is down to 2.30 across 15.2 innings with a 0.89 WHIP and 17:4 K:BB.

Martinez (4-1) earned the win Sunday over the Red Sox, allowing a run on seven hits over 5.2 innings. He struck out three.

Martinez was sharp again Sunday, as he held the Red Sox scoreless until the sixth inning. The veteran right-hander still hasn't allowed more than two runs in a start this season and he's held opponents to just three runs over 25.2 innings in his last four outings. Martinez's ERA is down to 1.70 through eight starts (47.2 innings) this season with a 1.06 WHIP and 31:10 K:BB. He's tentatively lined up to face the Marlins at home his next time out.

Cortes went 1-for-3 with one RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Orioles.

Cortes drove in the Athletics' lone run on a sacrifice fly in the second inning before swiping his first career bag in the seventh. The 28-year-old has cooled off a bit, going just 6-for-24 to open the month of May, but he's still slashing an outstanding .355/.408/.570 with four homers, 15 RBI and 11 runs scored across 103 plate appearances this season. He continues to sit against most southpaws despite going 5-for-8 against them in the early going.

Severino (2-4) took the loss against the Orioles on Sunday, allowing two runs on six hits and four walks with four strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

Severino limited the damage but lacked command overall, issuing four walks while generating only seven whiffs on 102 pitches. On the bright side, the 32-year-old has now yielded just five earned runs over his past four starts while completing at least five frames in seven straight outings. He'll carry a 4.07 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 47:29 K:BB across 48.2 innings into a home matchup against the Giants next weekend.
