Dingler went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Wednesday's 8-6 loss to the Twins.

Dingler snapped an 0-for-9 slump across the previous three games with his first three-hit effort of the young season. The Detroit catcher is now batting .273 overall, which is in line with the .278 average he posted during the regular season last year. Dingler has no real threat to his playing time behind the plate, and he should remain a stable fantasy asset.

Detmers (0-1) took the loss Wednesday against Atlanta, allowing six runs (five earned) on five hits and two walks in 4.1 innings. He struck out four.

Hard contact plagued the left-hander Wednesday, as four of his knocks allowed went for extra bases. Detmers was never quite able to settle in either, giving up at least one run in each of the first three frames before being chased from the outing at 92 pitches with one out in the fifth. Detmers' return to the rotation this year has yielded mixed results -- he holds a 4.60 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 17:6 K:BB over 15.2 innings -- and things won't get much easier with a tough matchup against the Yankees looming for his next start.

Harris went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored, an RBI and two stolen bases in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Orioles.

Making his first start since being recalled from Triple-A Charlotte on Monday, Harris made an immediate impact with his legs -- not a big surprise for a player who went 34-for-39 on steal attempts over 110 games between Triple-A and the majors for the Rangers last season. The 26-year-old outfielder never really got a chance to show what he could do with Texas, but his career .276/.366/.417 slash line over more than 1,300 plate appearances at the top level of the minors suggests he may be able to contribute for Chicago at the plate as well. Harris could see consistent playing time in the short term while Austin Hays (hamstring) and Everson Pereira (ankle) are on the IL.

Burke didn't factor into the decision in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Orioles, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out three.

It was the second straight solid performance from the right-hander, who tossed 58 of 92 pitches for strikes and left the mound with a 3-2 lead before watching the White Sox bullpen cough it up in the top of the sixth. Burke is still looking for his first win of 2026, but he'll take a 3.60 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and sparkling 15:3 K:BB through 15 innings over three outings (two starts) into his next trip to the mound, which is set to come at home early next week against the Rays.

Eflin underwent Tommy John surgery on his right elbow Wednesday, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

The Orioles moved Eflin to the 60-day injured list Tuesday after he received a second opinion on his injured elbow, and he'll now be out until midway through the 2027 campaign after going under the knife. The 32-year-old righty has made just 15 starts over the past two seasons, during which he's posted a 5.76 ERA and 1.43 WHIP over 75 innings.

Ward went 4-for-5 with three doubles, a run scored and two RBI in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the White Sox.

The veteran outfielder is still looking for his first homer as a member of the Orioles, but he's been doing plenty of damage nonetheless. Through 12 games to begin the season, Ward is slashing .383/.464/.574 with an astounding nine doubles, five runs and eight RBI with an 8:11 BB:K.

Garcia walked two and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday to record his first career save in a 5-3 win over the White Sox.

With Ryan Helsley having pitched Monday and Tuesday, the Orioles closer was given a breather while other members of the bullpen stepped up. After Grant Wolfram handled the seventh and Anthony Nunez the eighth, Garcia got the call in the ninth and managed to get the job done despite throwing only 10 of his 22 pitches for strikes. Garcia is establishing himself as a high-leverage option for manager Craig Albernaz, producing a win, two holds and a save in his first six appearances with a 0.53 WHIP and 7:3 K:BB in 5.2 scoreless and hitless innings.

Bradish (1-2) picked up the win Wednesday, giving up three runs (two earned) on six hits and three walks over five innings in a 5-3 victory over the White Sox. He struck out seven.

After two straight losses to begin the campaign, Bradish righted the ship somewhat, although it was still a bumpy performance. The right-hander tossed just 54 of his 96 pitches for strikes and committed two errors in the field, leaving the mound with the O's down 3-2 only to see his team take the lead for good in the top of the sixth. Bradish will carry a 5.27 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 17:9 K:BB through 13.2 innings into his next start, which lines up to come at home early next week against the Diamondbacks.

Hoffman earned the save in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Dodgers, allowing a hit and a walk while striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning.

The Dodgers got the tying and go-ahead runs on base against Hoffman with one out in the ninth. However, the right-hander bounced back to strike out Freddie Freeman before coaxing a game-ending flyout off the bat of Max Muncy to log his second save in three chances this year. Hoffman has appeared in seven games overall this season, allowing two runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out 15 over 6.2 innings.

Cease did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Dodgers, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and four walks across five innings. He struck out eight.

Command continues to be an issue for Cease, who's now issued nine walks over his first 14.2 innings this year, though he's also logged 26 strikeouts to help limit the damage. Through his first three starts with Toronto, Cease sports a 2.45 ERA with a 1.43 WHIP. He'll look to get into the win column for the first time in 2026 his next time out, tentatively scheduled to come next week in Milwaukee.
