Story isn't in Boston's starting lineup Sunday against Baltimore, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.

Story has struggled to a .532 OPS and a 31.1 percent strikeout rate through 119 plate appearances this season, but he's kept an everyday role in the lineup. Boston shook up its coaching staff following Saturday's win, and Story voiced his displeasure with that decision, per Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com. It's not clear if that has anything to do with his absence from the lineup Sunday. Andruw Monasterio is drawing a start at shortstop in Story's stead.

Anthony (back) is starting at DH and batting third Sunday against Baltimore, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.

Anthony missed the past four games due to a sore back but is evidently feeling well enough to return to the lineup. The 21-year-old had exclusively batted leadoff this season, but he's slotting into the third spot in the order in his return to action. The Red Sox shook up their coaching staff Saturday evening, but it remains to be seen if that will result in any significant changes to the lineup.

Baker recorded his fifth save of the season Friday against the Twins, striking out one while retiring all three batters he faced in the 6-2 victory.

It didn't seem like the right-hander would be needed Friday given the five-run advantage, but Trevor Martin surrendered a homer, a single and a double to begin the ninth inning to create the save situation. Baker escaped the jam with minimal fanfare, throwing 14 of his 18 pitches for strikes as he retired the next three hitters. The 31-year-old has converted five of seven save chances and has a 3.86 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 10:3 K:BB over 9.1 innings this year while stepping in as the Rays' primary closer.

Naylor isn't in Seattle's starting lineup Sunday versus St. Louis.

Naylor has been heating up of late, slashing .480/.533/.680 with one home run, four RBI and four stolen bases over his past seven games. He fouled a ball off his foot Friday but remained in the lineup Saturday, so for the time being his absence from the lineup Sunday appears to be a routine rest day. Connor Joe is making a start at first base in Naylor's stead.

Cleveland recalled Holderman from Triple-A Columbus on Sunday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Holderman had a brief stint with the big-league club earlier in the campaign, appearing in two games and allowing two earned runs while posting a 3:2 K:BB over three innings. He'll likely take on a low-leverage role now that's he's back. Holderman is filling the bullpen spot vacated by Shawn Armstrong, who landed on the IL with a right groin strain Sunday.

The Guardians placed Armstrong on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to a right groin strain, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Armstrong has been a key part of Cleveland's bullpen this season, appearing in 12 games and registering three holds while posting a 4.22 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 13:7 K:BB over 10.2 innings. To take his spot in the bullpen, the Guardians brought Colin Holderman up from from Triple-A Columbus.

Stanton (calf) isn't starting Sunday against Houston.

This will be the second straight game on the shelf for Stanton after he was pulled from Friday's contest versus Houston due to right calf tightness. Manager Aaron Boone was ambiguous when discussing Stanton's injury Saturday, saying the issue is "not ideal" and adding, "But that doesn't mean great or terrible," per Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News. It isn't yet clear if a stint on the injured list is ahead for Stanton, who has been New York's primary DH this season. Ben Rice is getting a start in that slot Sunday.

Diaz isn't in the Astros' lineup Sunday against the Yankees, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

He'll begin on the bench with Christian Vazquez doing the catching. Diaz is in the midst of a five-game hitting streak, during which he's gone 6-for-20 with a home run, two doubles and three RBI.

Altuve is out of the starting lineup Sunday versus the Yankees, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Altuve started the previous nine contests, but the veteran second baseman had just two hits over his past 20 at-bats, so he'll get a chance to recharge. Braden Shewmake is starting at second base for Houston in Altuve's stead Sunday.

The Athletics activated Rooker (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Sunday.

Rooker landed on the injured list April 10 and ended up missing just over two weeks of playing time. He had been struggling prior to going down, slashing just .146/.245/.293 with two homers, eight RBI and two stolen bases over his first 12 games. Rooker will look to convert his time off into a fresh start as he aims to hit the 30-homer mark for a third straight season.
