Lowe and the Red Sox agreed to a one-year contract Sunday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Lowe was granted his release from the Nationals on Saturday and has quicly found a new home in Boston. The 30-year-old had slashed .216/.292/.373 slash line with 16 home runs and one stolen base over 119 contests with Washington, where he had been handling an everyday role at first base. The Red Sox have struggled to find a consistent option at first base this season, and the left-handed-hitting Lowe could occupy the strong side of a platoon at the position with the right-handed-hitting Romy Gonzalez. Lowe owns a .732 OPS over 337 plate appearances versus right-handed pitching this season.

Holliday went 2-for-4 with three runs scored, one RBI and two walks in Sunday's win against the Astros.

Holliday knocked an RBI single and scored a run in the fifth inning. He later drew a walk and scored a run in both the seventh and eighth frames. He went 4-for-14 (.286) with a home run and five runs scored in the three-game set against Houston this weekend. Sunday was Holliday's first multi-hit performance since July 30; he went 8-for-55 (.145) in 14 games since then. He's now slashing .249/.303/.390 with 55 runs scored through 116 games.

Kremer (9-9) yielded three hits and a walk over seven scoreless frames, striking out seven and earning a win over Houston on Sunday.

Kremer faced little pushback from the Astros' lineup and did not give up an extra-base hit. He set new career highs in total pitches (114) and swinging strikes (21) in the dominant outing. Of those 21 whiffs, eight came via the splitter. Kremer has allowed just one run over 15 innings in his last two outings, lowering his season ERA from 4.35 to 3.97 in the process. He's produced a 123:37 K:BB through 147.1 innings and a 19:3 K:BB over his last three appearances. Kremer is projected for a home rematch with the Astros next weekend.

Westburg went 4-for-5 with a home run, five RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's win over Houston.

Westburg led the charge in Baltimore's 12-0 victory with five RBI, including three with his fifth-inning homer. He later knocked RBI singles in the seventh and eighth frames. Westburg has at least three hits in three of his last 18 games, going 26-for-74 (.351) during that span. He's now slashing .277/.327/.475 with 15 home runs and 34 RBI through 72 games.

Frazier went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, a double and two runs scored in Sunday's win against the White Sox.

Frazier doubled and scored a run in the seventh inning before adding a two-run shot in the eighth. It was his first home run since Aug. 1 and second in 23 games since being traded to the Royals. Frazier has provided a nice boost to Kansas City's offense; he's gone 25-for-76 (.329) in those 23 contests. For the season, Frazier is slashing .273/.327/.370 with 20 extra-base hits and 34 RBI through 344 plate appearances.

Bergert did not factor in the decision during Sunday's win over the White Sox. He allowed two runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks over 5.1 innings while striking out seven.

Bergert coughed up a solo homer to Lenyn Sosa in the first inning but settled in after. The White Sox were mostly silenced until the sixth inning when they scratched across an unearned run. Bergert tossed 62 of 95 pitches for strikes and forced 15 whiffs, including eight with his slider. He's been impressive since joining Kansas City, posting a 2.70 ERA with a 17:5 K:BB through 16.2 frames. For the year, Bergert owns a 2.75 ERA and a 51:23 K:BB across 52.1 innings. He's currently in line to take the mound in Detroit for his next appearance.

Suarez (shoulder) struck out a batter and allowed one earned run on one hit and two walks over three innings in his rehab start Sunday for Triple-A Norfolk.

After kicking off his rehab assignment Tuesday at Double-A Chesapeake with a two-inning start, Suarez moved up a level and tacked an inning on to his workload in his second outing in the minors. The Orioles are expected to deploy Suarez in long relief once he's activated from the 60-day injured list, but he'll likely continue to get further stretched out during his rehab assignment just in case he's needed to provide insurance for the rotation over the final month of the season. Suarez has been on the shelf since March 30 due to a right subscapularis strain.

Springer went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer during Sunday's 10-4 loss to the Rangers.

Springer made Sunday's blowout look a little more respectable with a two-run blast to left-center field in the eighth. He has collected a hit in each of his two games since returning from a concussion Saturday. Springer has a 1.107 OPS with one steal, two doubles, 15 runs, three homers and six RBI in 61 plate appearances since the All-Star break.

Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a solo home run during Sunday's 10-4 loss to Texas.

The Blue Jays batters were held in check for the most part by Nathan Eovaldi through seven innings, though Guerrero was able to break through with a solo shot to left-center field for his 21st homer of the season and sixth since the beginning of August. Guerrero has seen his numbers creep up with every passing month, and since the All-Star break he has slashed .368/.442/.702 with 11 doubles, 24 runs, nine home runs and 22 RBI over 129 plate appearances.

Martin did not factor in the decision during Sunday's loss to Kansas City. He allowed a hit and three walks over six scoreless frames while striking out four.

Martin retired the first nine batters he faced and delivered his first scoreless appearance since April 27. He did not give up a hit until the sixth inning and did not face much trouble throughout his start. Martin turned in his first quality start since June 6; in five appearances between quality starts, he registered a 5.74 ERA across 26.2 frames. Martin now owns a 3.94 ERA with a 74:34 K:BB through 107.1 innings. He's projected for a home matchup against the Twins next weekend.
