Miller conceded after Sunday's loss to the Cubs that he's dealt with a minor right lat injury since his July 24 start against the Rangers, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Miller had a start pushed back one day when he first began feeling discomfort in his lat. He's taken the ball on turn since then, but the results have not been there, with the hurler logging a 7.92 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 21:15 K:BB over 30.2 frames covering his last six outings. A move to the bullpen for Miller is possible, but the health of Bryan Woo (shoulder) complicates the decision. For now, Miller is tentatively lined up to start Sunday's game in Toronto.

Estevez (shoulder) threw in a bridge league game at the Royals' complex in Arizona on Saturday, Joel Penfield of KCSN.com reports.

Estevez retired four of the five hitters he faced while showing increased velocity, per Penfield. The veteran right-hander is expected to pitch again in Arizona before embarking on a rehab assignment as he works his way back from a right rotator cuff strain. Estevez has been shelved for virtually all of 2026, hitting the injured list April 1 due to a left foot contusion before suffering the shoulder injury during a rehab appearance May 6.

Gonsolin (elbow) is on track to start a rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha this week, per MLB.com.

Gonsolin signed with the Royals on Aug. 13 and is nearing the final stage of his recovery from Tommy John surgery with an internal brace, which he underwent on his right elbow in August 2025. The right-hander's first outing is expected to last approximately three innings or 50 pitches. It remains to be seen how many rehab starts Kansas City plans to give him, but Gonsolin figures to receive some starting opportunities with the big-league club down the stretch in September.

Bolte went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Astros.

Bolte didn't drive in a run, but the center fielder still made an impact offensively with his eighth three-hit effort of the season. The rookie has put together a nice month of August, slashing .325/.385/.482 with three homers, eight RBI, 14 runs and two stolen bases across 21 contests. Overall, Bolte is hitting .270/.345/.369 with six homers, 26 RBI, 34 runs and 14 stolen bases in 88 games.

Isbel went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs scored and a steal in Sunday's 11-7 win over the Tigers.

Isbel got in on the offensive slugfest, recording a season-high three RBI with a pair of singles. It was a productive homestand for the center fielder, as he went 7-for-21 (.333) with two homers, eight RBI, six runs and a stolen base across six games. Overall, Isbel is hitting .241/.288/.370 with six homers, 23 RBI, 25 runs and six stolen bases in 73 contests.

Rave went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, two additional runs scored, two steals and a walk in Sunday's 11-7 win over the Tigers.

Rave was a notable contributor in the win, blasting a two-run homer in the fifth inning and swiping two bags for the first time in his career. On the year, the 28-year-old is hitting .215/.282/.462 with three homers, seven RBI, 13 runs and four stolen bases across 73 big-league plate appearances. Should Jac Caglianone (ankle) remain sidelined and require a stint on the injured list, Rave figures to see an uptick in playing time in right field.

Kiner-Falefa (forearm) could be activated from the 60-day injured list during Boston's series in Miami, which begins Monday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Kiner-Falefa, who has been on the IL since June 19 due to stress reaction in his right forearm, spent last week on a rehab assignment at Triple-A Worcester, going 1-for-13 over four games. Once activated, Kiner-Falefa is expected to step back into a utility role, as teammate Trevor Story (sports hernia) could also come off the injured list during the Marlins series and reclaim the starting job at shortstop.

Story (sports hernia) could be activated from the 60-day injured list during Boston's series in Miami, which begins Monday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Story, who hasn't played for the Red Sox since May 14, spent the last week on a rehab assignment at Triple-A Worcester, going 4-for-21 over six games. He finished up the assignment by playing two consecutive days in the field, which is typically a sign that a player is on the verge of coming off the IL. Once activated, Story is expected to be the Red Sox's primary starter at shortstop, although rest days will be built into his schedule initially.

Cowser went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Rays.

Cowser was responsible for both of Baltimore's two hits and their lone run in the defeat -- he lead off the ninth inning with a 382-foot shot off closer Bryan Baker, his 12th homer of the year. After a tough start to the season, the 26-year-old Cowser has heated up of late, going 12-for-37 (.324) with four homers and a 1.045 OPS in his last 15 contests. Cowser is now slashing .219/.314/.372 across 310 plate appearances this year with 36 runs scored, 34 RBI and eight steals.

Altuve went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer and an additional RBI in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the A's.

Altuve extended the Astros' lead to 3-0 in the first inning with a two-run blast off Brady Basso, his 14th homer of the year and first in 14 games. While Altuve's power numbers have taken a step back, the veteran second-baseman has been swinging the bat well of late, going 21-for-67 (.313) across 19 games since the start of August. Overall, Altuve is slashing .245/.309/.399 with 57 runs scored, 40 RBI and four steals across 445 plate appearances this season.
