The Royals transferred Canha's (elbow) rehab assignment from Double-A Northwest Arkansas to Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday.

Canha appeared in three games for Northwest Arkansas, going 3-for-11 with a home run. He'll likely play in at least a couple of games for Omaha before the Royals potentially bring him back from the 10-day injured list for this weekend's series versus the White Sox.

Toro went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 7-6 loss to Houston.

Toro initiated a two-out, four-run rally in the seventh inning when he belted a homer against the team that drafted him in 2017 and for whom he played 93 games from 2019-21. He was a pleasant surprise for the Red Sox earlier this season, but Toro has languished since the All-Star break, slashing .194/.257/.323 with two home runs and five RBI over 20 contests. Toro continues to share first base with Romy Gonzalez.

Smith started in left field and went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Monday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Diamondbacks.

Smith doubled to kick off a four-run sixth-inning that brought the Rangers back into the contest. The double was his 20th and the run scored his team-leading 58th through 107 games. Smith has been seeing time in left field with Evan Carter (back) on the IL, but Carter is set to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday and could rejoin the club for a road trip in Toronto beginning Friday. That would put Smith back into a useful super-utility role, filling in wherever needed.

Tellez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 7-6 extra-inning win over Arizona.

Shortly before Jake Burger's walk-off single in the 10th inning, Tellez extended the game by slugging a leadoff, game-tying home run in the bottom of the ninth. He's managed to maintain a regular presence in the lineup against right-handers since being promoted from Triple-A Round Rock in mid-July, but Tellez could see his opportunities dwindle in the coming days. The recent activation of Jake Burger from the injured list provides more competition for Tellez between the first base and designated hitter spots, and once outfielder Evan Carter (back) is ready to come off the IL, the domino effect will result in Josh Smith moving back to the infield.

Soderstrom went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in a loss versus Tampa Bay on Monday.

Soderstrom narrowed his team's five-run deficit to just two runs with his three-run homer in the seventh frame, but that was as close as the A's would get. The powerful young outfielder extended his on-base streak to 13 games, a stretch in which he's batting .304 (14-for-46) with three homers and 11 RBI. Soderstrom has had a few extended power droughts this year but has otherwise been a steady offensive presence for the Athletics, slashing .260/.333/.469 with 22 long balls, 71 RBI, 59 runs and six stolen bases through 120 contests.

Langeliers went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in a loss against the Rays on Monday.

Langeliers produced the A's first run of the game with a 425-foot solo shot to center field in the fifth inning. It was the continuation of a huge second half for the backstop -- since the All-Star break, Langeliers is batting a robust .404 (38-for-94) with 12 home runs, 22 RBI, 22 runs and a stolen base over 23 contests. While he's always been viewed as having big-time power, Langeliers struggled with strikeouts over his first three campaigns and didn't bat higher than .224 in any regular season. However, he's up to a .276 batting average this year due in part to a dramatic decrease in punchouts -- his 18.2 percent strikeout rate is nine points lower than his previous season-best mark of 27.2 percent.

Caminero went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a walk Monday in a 7-4 win over the Athletics.

Caminero scored the first run of the game following a second-inning infield single, and he then plated himself with a big 419-foot blast in the seventh frame. The talented young third baseman has been on a power binge of late, going deep five times over his past five games. Caminero has tacked on eight RBI in that span, pushing him up to 81 runs batted in -- fifth-most in the American League -- on the campaign.

Springs (10-8) allowed four runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out two batters over 3.1 innings to take the loss against Tampa Bay on Monday.

Springs got through a scoreless first inning but then gave up at least one run in each of the following three frames. He was pulled with one out in the fourth, marking his shortest outing since he completed just two innings against Toronto on May 30. Springs had been pitching well coming into Monday with three straight quality starts and a pair of wins over his previous 18 frames, though he's now given up at least one homer in four straight appearances. In fact, the 23 home runs Springs has surrendered this year are tied for seventh-most in the league, which is largely why he has a mediocre 4.06 ERA despite a strong 1.15 WHIP.

Paddack didn't factor into the decision Monday against the White Sox, allowing one run on three hits and one walk in 5.2 innings. He struck out four.

Paddack yielded a lone run for the third time in his last four starts, and the one walk was his first issued since his July 18 outing in Colorado. The 29-year-old right-hander also pitched efficiently, as he threw 54 of his 76 pitches for strikes, though Colson Montgomery did take him deep for a solo shot in the fifth inning. Paddack has a weak 6.34 ERA and 1.36 WHIP over his last 11 starts (55.1 innings), but he'll try to build on Monday's performance this weekend in Minnesota against his former Twins team.

Urias went 3-for-4 with a double, a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Monday's victory over the Red Sox.

Urias played a key role in Monday's win, collecting a pair of extra-base hits. Since joining the Astros, the infielder has slashed .333/.400/.611 over seven games with two doubles, a homer and three RBI. He has started three of the last seven games and makes for a nice option in deeper daily leagues, especially when he's at home, as he is well-suited to take advantage of the Crawford Boxes in left field.
