Ginn allowed one run on five hits and a walk while striking out two in five innings Tuesday against the Rangers. He did not factor into the decision.

Ginn held the Rangers scoreless through three innings before Adolis Garcia broke through in the fourth with a solo home run. Ginn otherwise kept the Texas offense at bay, though he was pulled after just 58 pitches. Ginn's strikeouts were notably down after he went into Tuesday's start donning an 11.2 K/9. He presumably pitched well enough to get another crack at starting and tentatively lines up to make another start this weekend against Houston.

Garcia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's win over the Athletics.

Garcia got the Rangers on the board with a solo blast to center in the fourth inning. He now has four homers in his last nine games and is up to 14 for the season. Heading into the All-Star break, Garcia hit safely in 12 of 13 games, but he has tallied just three hits while striking out eight times in 19 at-bats since games resumed last weekend.

Thomas (foot) is doing baseball activities but is progressing "a little slower" than originally hoped, MLB.com reports.

Thomas, who was placed on the 10-day injured list retroactive to July 5, received an injection during the All-Star break. This is his third stint on the IL this season and second because of the foot.

Seager went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and a double in Tuesday's win over the Athletics.

Seager broke the game open in the seventh with a three-run homer off Hogan Harris to put the Rangers up 6-1. Seager now has a 23-game on-base streak during which he's slashing .349/.462/.686 with seven homers, 21 RBI, 20 runs and a 16:21 BB:K. He's been a top-10 hitter in all of baseball in average, on-base, slugging and OPS over that span.

Ober (hip) will make another rehab start with Triple-A St. Paul on Friday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Ober went four scoreless innings while striking out three in his first rehab outing with St. Paul last week. He got his pitch count up to 50 in that start and will get stretched out a bit more Friday. If things go well for Ober on Friday, he seems likely to rejoin the Twins' rotation next week. The big right-hander has been out for all of July with a left hip impingement.

Bieber (elbow) allowed one earned run on two hits and no walks while striking out four over three innings Tuesday in a rehab start for High-A Lake County.

The Guardians planned for him to throw three innings and between 40 and 45 pitches, and the right-hander hit both targets. Thirty of his 43 pitches landed for strikes Tuesday in what was his first start with a full-season affiliate after Bieber threw two scoreless innings in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League a week ago. He'll need to make at least two more starts in the minors to build up his pitch count before he returns from the 60-day injured list, likely in early or mid-August.

Semien went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's win over the Athletics.

Semien's lone hit of the night proved to be a big one, as his sixth-inning solo blast pushed the Rangers ahead of the Athletics for good. It was Semien's first hit since coming back from the All-Star break and his sixth home run since June 30. For the season, the 34-year-old is slashing .230/.309/.370 with 13 homers, 50 RBI, 49 runs, eight steals and a 42:80 BB:K in 421 plate appearances.

DeGrom (10-2) picked up the win over the Athletics on Tuesday, allowing one run on three hits and a walk while striking out nine over six innings.

DeGrom surrendered a leadoff home run to Lawrence Butler to open the game but otherwise was dominant. His nine strikeouts tied for his second-highest total in a start this season, and he recorded 28 whiffs, which tied for the second-most whiffs in all of baseball this year. DeGrom is now 6-0 since the start of June and has lowered his ERA to a 2.28. He's now up to 118.1 innings, which is his most since 2019. DeGrom lines up for his next start on the road against the Angels to begin next week.

Vazquez went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI in Tuesday's 10-7 win over the Dodgers.

Vazquez produced a two-run double in the second inning and added an RBI single in the sixth. The catcher continues to see a near-even split of playing time behind the dish with Ryan Jeffers. Vazquez is 8-for-29 (.276) in July, lifting his slash line for the year to .190/.254/.272 with two home runs, 12 RBI, 10 runs scored and no stolen bases over 173 plate appearances.

France went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two walks, one RBI and three runs scored in Tuesday's 10-7 win over the Dodgers.

France had a strong game from the No. 5 spot in the order, posting his first multi-hit effort since June 26 versus the Mariners. The first baseman has gone just 5-for-36 (.139) with three walks and seven strikeouts over 13 games in July, which has seen him slip into a fairly even timeshare with Kody Clemens at first base. Luckily for France, a righty, it hasn't become a straight platoon -- he's been in the lineup against three of the last seven right-handed starters the Twins have faced. For the season, France has a .249/.316/.357 slash line, six home runs, 43 RBI, 41 runs scored, 18 doubles and one stolen base across 367 plate appearances. Both France and Clemens could be at risk of losing playing time when Luke Keaschall (forearm) returns from the 60-day injured list, though Keaschall is expected to be more of a utility option once healthy.
