Cantillo didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Astros, giving up three runs on five hits and three walks in four innings. He struck out seven.

The seven strikeouts were a season high for Cantillo, who produced his longest outing of the year. The 25-year-old left-hander generated 15 whiffs on the evening, but he's now walked a trio of batters in each of his two starts since joining Cleveland's rotation. Cantillo owns a serviceable 3.79 ERA and 48:20 K:BB over 35.2 innings, but his 1.46 WHIP is a cause for concern. He should still carry some streaming appeal this weekend in scheduled matchup against the lowly White Sox.

Muncy went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 10-1 win over Atlanta.

Muncy has hit safely in eight of his last nine games, going 11-for-32 (.344) with three homers, three doubles and six RBI in that span. The infielder capped a five-run first inning for the Athletics with his blast. Muncy is up to a .222/.268/.404 slash line with eight homers, 22 RBI, 16 runs scored, seven doubles and one stolen base through his first 50 major-league games. It's unclear if Muncy will have a regular spot in the lineup once Miguel Andujar (oblique) completes his rehab assignment.

Rooker went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 10-1 win over Atlanta.

Rooker has been hitting well in recent weeks, going 16-for-60 (.267) with four homers and nine RBI over his last 16 games. The designated hitter was part of a five-homer attack for the Athletics in this contest, putting them ahead 3-0 in the first inning with the second of the team's round trippers. For the season, he's at a .271/.347/.492 slash line with 19 homers, 50 RBI, 56 runs scored, 19 doubles, two triples and two stolen bases over 93 games.

Kurtz went 2-for-3 with a grand slam, a double, a walk and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 10-1 win over Atlanta.

Kurtz turned this game into a romp with the second-inning grand slam to stretch the Athletics' lead to 9-0. He's up to 14 homers on the year, nine of which he's hit over his last 21 games. In that span, he's batting .286 (22-for-77) with 23 RBI and an 11:28 BB:K. Kurtz has a .250/.324/.527 slash line with 39 RBI and 27 runs scored over 53 contests this season. There's still a bit too much swing-and-miss in his profile, but he's made excellent contact when he connects -- he's in the 94th percentile for barrel rate (16.1 percent) and his 91.8 mph average exit velocity is in the 84th percentile, per Statcast.

McClanahan (triceps) struck out one batter and issued one walk in a scoreless inning during his first rehab start Tuesday in the rookie-level Florida Complex League.

McClanahan has had a long road to recovery from his Aug. 21, 2023 Tommy John surgery and more recently, a bout with nerve irritation in his triceps. His outing Tuesday marked his first appearance in affiliated ball in just under two years, though he had been able to make three starts in the Grapefruit League this spring before being shut down. Unsurprisingly, McClanahan was lifted after throwing just one inning and 11 pitches, though he was able to make use of his full arsenal in the appearance. The Rays will continue to have McClanahan ramp up slowly over the course of his rehab assignment, which will likely last for nearly the entirety of the 30-day window and should eventually move to Triple-A Durham. He appears to be tracking toward a return from the 60-day injured list in early August.

Butler went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs, one walk and three total runs scored in Tuesday's 10-1 win over Atlanta.

Butler supplied the Athletics' first and last runs, going yard in the first and third innings. The outfielder had gone 15 games without a long ball, batting just .231 (12-for-52) in that span. For the season, he's up to 13 homers, 38 RBI, 54 runs scored, 14 stolen bases, 24 doubles and two triples while slashing .256/.326/.448 over 88 contests.

Springs (7-6) allowed a run on six hits and a walk while striking out two over six innings to earn the win over Atlanta on Tuesday.

Springs continued a strong stretch -- over his last five starts, he's given up just nine runs (seven earned). He's not overwhelming hitters with strikeouts, and he continues to be prone to the long ball -- he's allowed five homers in that five-start span, including a solo shot to Eli White in Tuesday's outing. For the season, Springs has a 3.92 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 81:38 K:BB with 17 homers allowed over 103.1 innings across 19 appearances (17 starts). He is tentatively lined up for a home start versus the surging Blue Jays over the weekend.

Kim went 1-for-4 on Tuesday against the Tigers.

Kim made his season debut Friday but was out for the rest of the Rays' weekend series due to a calf issue. He returned Tuesday, playing shortstop and hitting fifth. Kim's lone hit was a single to lead off the second inning, but most importantly, he came out of the game healthy.

Burger went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in Tuesday's 13-1 victory over the Angels.

Burger amassed a season-high four RBI, recording at least three hits for the fifth time this season as well. The 29-year-old corner infielder has been quite a big disappointment overall -- his .673 OPS in 2025 would be a career low if it sticks -- but he's at least fared a bit better at the plate after heading to the minor leagues earlier this year for a brief time. Across his last 41 contests, Burger is batting .258 (41-for-159) with eight homers, eight doubles, 21 RBI and 17 runs scored.

Langford went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, a double, a walk and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 13-1 victory over the Angels.

Langford has been dropped from the second spot in the lineup since coming off the injured list, but it didn't take him long to respond by setting a season high in RBI on Tuesday. While it was certainly an encouraging performance, it's possible the speedy outfielder will need to string together some more positive showings before manager Bruce Bochy considers moving him back up the lineup given his recent struggles. Across his last 221 plate appearances, Langford is slashing a woeful .204/.285/.357 with eight home runs, six doubles, 23 RBI and seven stolen bases.
